Cat Sitters in Gorran Haven

This was our very first time inviting house sitters to look after our 2 lovely but often boisterous bengal cats. So we were a little unsure going into it how things would work out. But right from the start during our initial pre-sit conversation with Hilary she put our minds at rest. Being obviously very experienced and caring in looking after cats. Before the sit, Hilary was great at communication with suggestions to help us improve our Welcome Guide. And asked questions to make sure they fully understood the cats needs. And during the sit, Hilary and David messaged us every day with news of how they were getting on and sent lovely photos of our cats and their interaction with them. The cats clearly were very relaxed in their company even allowing tummy grooming! We were away for a week and were delighted to return to 2 very happy cats and a lovely tidy house. Hilary and David are very caring, reliable and diligent sitters and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to look after your cats in the future.

Danielle and Christian stayed in our house with our elderly cat for 5 days. We met them before going on our holiday and immediately warmed to them. They clearly were self-sufficient although not having a car (they came to Scotland by air, from Cornwall) and made good friends with the now-retiring cat right away (not so easy as one might assume!). They managed in the house perfectly, and our WhatsApp communications left us entirely at ease. The house was clean and all fine when we got back and Cookie was clearly content too. D and C are busy people but if they do apply to an invitation of yours, we have no hesitation in recommending that you take them on! J&H

Caroline and Martin were fabulous sitters, they looked after the house and my chooks with love and care. Communication before and during the stay was prompt and friendly. I highly recommend Caroline and Martin to anyone looking for someone to care for their home and pets.

Nat was brilliant. Let us know she’d arrived safe and sent updates and photos throughout sit to let us know the cats were fine and fed. She dealt with a few mice brought in without complaint and I think the house was cleaner when we came home than when we left. Really easy for us to relax away, super grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to have Nat sit again.

Cassandra is a very nice young woman. She loves animals. She quickly became friends with our Max and he liked her. We were glad that she looked after our house and cat for four weeks. Everything was as we imagined. She's more than welcome to come back if the need arises.

Naomi was great- wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. Our dog was immediately comfortable with her and her little boy, she kept in touch and left our home near and tidy. Thank you!

Primrose was a great house sitter, ponies and cat were loved and cared for and house and garden well looked after. Everything clean and tidy, and amazingly a meal waiting in the fridge, very welcome when returning in the evening.

5 stars for Bella all of the way. Caring and thoughtful, tidy and absolutely just got on with it. Thank you so much.

Five stars does not cover this truly lovely couple and if you are lucky enough to get them you will have absolutely nothing to worry about. Firstly the love and understanding of our slightly high maintenance girls was awesome (especially as Molly isn't always good with men) Jack turned her round and she was besotted with him!!! Lots of photos and videos, instructions followed to the letter.....just fabulous. House spotless and even washed the towels and bed linen they used. All in all just super duper hope you are lucky enough to get this amazing couple

Kate, Charlie and Huffle were absolutely amazing housesitters. Their communication before the sit was fantastic and they gave just the right level of communication whilst we were away so we knew how our dog was getting on. When we returned you could tell that our dog loved them and had been really comfortable with them. Our house was immaculate on our return and they'd been so kind because they'd stocked our fridge with the essentials and even cooked us a meal to welcome us home which was sooooo appreciated. They'd also watered all our pots and greenhouse so everything was thriving when we got home. We have no hesitation in recommending them for a house sit, if you choose Kate, Charlie and Huffle you will not regret it because they are lovely people, they really care about your home and your pet and communicate brilliantly.

We had a lovely experience with Lu and Paul. They appreciated and looked after Peggy beautifully, kept us up to date with a daily bulletin and some lovely pictures, they were reassuring, capable and kind.

Julie and Tony were brilliant as the sit was a bit short notice. They live fairly local so looked in the day before to go through things. Everything went well and the were very efficient, the cats were very happy when we got home, highly recommended thank you both.
