Ollie, Bella, Caroline and her whole family were an absolute delight! She was kind enough to drive me to and from the train and show me around town on arrival. Seven oaks is a lovely suburban area with a nice high street less than a 30 minute walk away. Their home is beautiful with all of the amenities and gadgets you may want. They have a lovely backyard for the summer time, a large kitchen for cooking, and a super comfy bed! It’s a walkable area to be in without a car, and there are ample walking paths to take Ollie and Bella on! Ollie and Bella are adorable well behaved Schnoodles- Ollie is the calmer, older brother who loves to cuddle anytime of the day and will become your personal little shadow! Bella is a bundle of energy and always wants to go outside, play, or instigate and chase Ollie around. 😂 She has a bit of an obsession with moving vehicles but I was warned to be careful with that on walks and Caroline gave me ways to help train her which was super helpful. The expectations were very reasonable and Caroline was quick and easy to get a hold of for any questions I had! I highly recommend sitting for Ollie and Bella- you’ll have a great time and make some great friends! Caroline, thank you so much for welcoming me into your home. It was lovely to meet you and your family ❤️
Our stay in Glasgow was unbeatable despite the bad weather. From the first minute we felt connection with Stella and Squeak. The first one is very affectionate and the second one needs some more time to get used to a stranger but it will also end up giving you kisses and sitting with you on the sofa. Stella and Squeak have a good routine and are incredibly well educated, they behave very well and it is very easy to walk and take care of them. The house is very comfortable and has all the falicities for a very comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the garden views from the kitchen. Right in front of the house there are several buses that leave you in the center of the city in less than 10 minutes. In the surroundings there are also some bars and supermarkets.
A perfect house sit! Rika was organized and communicative, and I felt like I had all the information I needed. Ziggy is an absolute delight to look after. The home was cozy and clean, great location for exploring the North Shore. 100% recommend!
Had an amazing stay at Michael's house in the valley. Great location and is in walking distance of a gorgeous hike. Everything for feeding and medication for the dogs was clearly labeled and easy to work with. Michael is also very communicative. A few of the dogs are older, so you may need to show a little more compassion towards them. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will be back when the opportunity presents itself!
We had a great time minding Lucy, although she was quite nervous at first she opened up to us eventually and we were sad to say goodbye to her. Well behaved, low maintenance dog but also likes being active and playing fetch, so you can take her on hikes. Super communication with Kristin too!
