Your house is in a great part of the world, with some really good eateries on the doorstep in Boldmere High Street, we especially liked the Italian cafe. We were surprised how easy it was to walk to Sutton Park which you can walk for miles once there. Also how easy it was to catch a 15minute train into Birmingham city centre. We've left the best till last, baby Nala and gorgeous Leo. Really beautiful and easy to look after cats who kept us entertained for hours. Bella is super low-maintenance and playful. With that said, she is a bit territorial and will take a while to warm up to you. Virginia's apartment ideally located if you're looking to explore Chicago. It's Downtown within walking distance of the Riverwalk, the Art Institute, Millennium Park, etc, etc and 3 minutes away from the nearest CTA stop, if you want to explore other neighborhoods. Virginia herself is wonderful and very welcoming!
We had a fantastic time looking after Vernon and Penny's adorable duo of working cocker spaniels, the lovely Cassie and Ruby. Cassie is very sweet, intelligent, and obedient, while Ruby is full of love and her puppy face melted our hearts. The walks along the canal were so beautiful and peaceful, and we really enjoyed getting to know the local area. Swimming in their pool and soaking in the hot tub after a long relaxing walk made us truly feel like we were on holiday! A five star sit that we highly recommend!
This was a last minute sit due to Patricia having to leave for an emergency. I deeply sympathize with her situation. Because of this I think it's difficult writing an honest review and I choose not to go into detail on things I would've mentioned under normal circumstances. However I am giving stars according to my experience, to somehow give you an impression.
Elizabeth was a wonderful host and she right away let me know of any important information concerning Kenri and freya. I loved sitting for them :) they both are incredibly sweet, playful, and very cuddly. If I can again, I would love to sit for them in the future. ☺️
