Lisa and Gina are delightful people, love animals and are extremely self sufficient. They are very experienced sitters and would whole heartedly recommend them. Billy the "Best Looking and Happiest Dog in the Village" was so disheartened to see them go. He clearly had had a great time with them. The house was clean and tidy when we returned and Lisa and Gina had cooked us a beautiful 3-course meal on our return, which was very thoughtful. Also Gina, who is an experienced gardener, sorted out our garden planting new plants and tidying up. So, Good Job, Lisa and Gina, thank you very much for taking care of Billy. Kari and Alex were great Petsitters. Domino and Burke were well cared for. They were respectful of our home and left everything in good order, with clean sheets and towels upon our return. They had a family issue arise while sitting and they had good communication throughout, and we were able to work through a plan together for back-up care should they have needed to leave early. They ended up completing the sit. We wish them well in their travels and would welcome them back again.

Michelle & Jason are wonderful communicators and loved on our dog Boo so much! It was a long visit (13 days) and they sent pics and videos of our sweet girl throughout our absence. They went above and beyond, leaving the house clean, washing & drying their sheets and towels, and leaving us flowers, a card, brownies, and a homemade dinner to pop in the oven when we returned!! WOW! You will be very fortunate to ever have this sweet couple come into your home. We are happy to endorse them with 100% confidence.

Susan couldn’t have been a better sitter for our two cats and home! Susan and I met twice prior to her sit while she was in town. During both meetings she was very attentive to instructions for the cats, the tour of our home amenities, timing of our departure and arrival, and made sure to ask any remaining questions. During the sit she regularly sent photo updates of the cats, collected our mail and packages, and looked after our home. She was amazing! At one point our liter robot went offline and she was so kind to assist with troubleshooting it to ensure it was in working order for our cats. When we arrived back home from our vacation, our cats were waiting for us happy and healthy and our home was clean- she even left a sweet card for our daughter thanking her for lending her room. I would ask Susan to do all our sits!

Nicholas

Nicholas was the perfect fit for our month long housesit. We have two large dogs - a 3-year old 70lbs standard poodle and a 2-year old 65lbs labradoodle. Nicholas diligently took the dogs on lengthy walks twice a day and followed all the dietary requests for the dogs. He communicated regularly throughout our trip. We arrived home to a spotless house, healthy plants and trees in the dead of summer, and a yard clean of dog poop. We hope he can sit for us for our next trip! Thank you, Nick!

Rodger and Loretta were amazing sitters. Gracie fell in love with them immediately and from the pictures they sent, I could tell they were having a good time together. They kept me updated and left the house cleaner than they found it, including washing the sheets, and making up the beds! My neighbors enjoyed meeting them. I would invite them back in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

I had a troubling experience with Victoria that I feel is necessary to share because I believe it’s important for others in this community to be aware of what happened. Victoria informed me she was leaving day 6 into an 18 day stay with a little more than 12 hours notice while I was 600 miles away with no backup plan for our dog Jackson. The first few days with Jackson went well. She communicated when I reached out along with pictures of them laying together on the couch and getting along very well. On day 6 she texted me to say Jackson had growled at her while physically trying to get him up from laying on her. She said she was frightened and asked if I had anyone else that could watch him. I immediately called her to try to understand what happened and explained that he was most likely startled rather than wanting to attack her. As I was asking questions about the incident, as I felt I had a right to do, she became extremely defensive and yelled at me on the phone. Admittedly my voice was heightened due to panic but I did not yell. I was simply trying to understand the extreme change in her demeanor from previously texting me she doesn’t easily get flustered, stressed or live in fear to being so frightened she wanted to leave. Knowing my questions upset her I apologized however after ending our call she immediately texted and said she was leaving at 10am. Despite repeatedly telling her that my son, who lives nearby, was out of town, and that I had no other options, she showed no consideration for my situation. Her decision to simply leave our dog stranded was incredibly distressing. I had to cancel my evening plans to find alternate arrangements for the remainder of our trip, which, happens to be my other son’s wedding. While there are other details that aren’t directly related to her pet-sitting duties, I believe it’s important to highlight the lack of professionalism and consideration she showed. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision through my experience.

Wow! Tom and Kris are such a kind, thoughtful, and responsible couple. They lovingly cared for our pets (2 dogs, 1 cat, and a bird) for a month while we were out of the country. Kris takes beautiful photos, and sent us images of our pets while we were gone. One of our dogs required special attention because of a health issue, and they took really good care of her. All of the animals were healthy and happy when we returned. Tom and Kris took excellent care of our home as well. The whole house, lawn, and garden were in great shape when we returned. I would eagerly invite Tom and Kris to stay at our house again.

Amy was amazing as a host. She bought us a delivered Lou Malinatos pizza the night before our sit officially started. We stayed that first night before she left so we could meet her and kisses to make the transition go smoothly. That worked out well, even though kisses is very much a loner without her parent Amy. Amy rescued her a couple years ago and she is still pretty skittish, but a very lovable and cute baby. Kisses would almost rather that you left her alone for most of the day, so feel free to explore Chicago. Restaurants, grocery store, Walgreens all within a block of her nice condo. We also walked to the river walk and all the way to the navy pier via the very nice river walk(probably about 3 miles to navy pier), because we didn’t want to walk all the way back, we just Ubered back. Amy was very communicative and informative and a joy to meet and visit with. Would highly recommend this sit if you’re wanting to explore Chicago. Subway stop is just a block from her condo. Thanks Amy and kisses for a wonderful time!!

We had a wonderful experience catsitting Boo at Allison's place in St. Simons Island. It was truly a fantastic combination of an amazing cat, cute home, and great location. From the beginning, Allison's communication was clear, including coordinating our initial chat, followed by several short videos sent via text to highlight Boo's needs and her home's layout. Throughout our stay Allison remained accessible, sometimes checking in just to see how Boo was doing. Her home is adorably decorated with a cool, beachy vibe. The guest bed is comfy and soft with high quality bed sheets. There is even an office setup if you need to do work. As far as the location of Allison's place, it's fantastic, easy to find and a quick bike ride or short walk to most things to do (and even close to a grocery store). As for Boo, or "Prince Boo" as we called him, he is a super-sweet personality! He loves to be pet, spoken to, and picked up. Once you understand cat, you figure out when he wants to eat, drink broth, sit on your lap, be held, or if you're up for it at night, snuggle with you as the little spoon. He does eat a lot during the day, with extra broths over his food to keep him hydrated since he doesn't drink water. He was a real sweetheart and we enjoyed hanging with the little guy. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, Allison was fabulous to interact with and left a sweet surprise for us as well. We'd happily do this sit again and highly recommend it to others if you get the chance! Thank you, Allison and Boo for having us. :)

We had a fantastic sit at Gemma and Simons beautiful home near Swindon. Inca and Roger were the most loving, gentle and chilled out dogs. We loved taking them out for walks in the idyllic local area (with Roger taking us for a walk on his favourite route!). Gemma and Simon did everything to make sure our sit was comfortable and it was a pleasure to stay in their stunning home - The Avery. We will miss our daily cuddles with the dogs, and their relaxed and easygoing companionship.
