Dog Sitters in Grantham, PA

Cathy and Scott were fabulous sitters! They definitely rate far more than a 5. From the very first picture of my pups to the last I could see how caring and loving they were with my dogs. When my husband and I arrived home the house was spotless, all linens and towels washed, bed made and the best part was happy dogs! We even had dinner waiting for us in the fridge and muffins on the counter. I could not ask for better dog and house sitters than Cathy and Scott. Count yourself lucky if you can have them sit for your pets. I hope in the future that I can entice them to come back. Thanks for everything!!

Stephanie was the perfect find for us. So much so that we contemplated giving a bad review so we could have her more often but we just can’t do that! Seriously, she loved and cared for our dogs as well as we do, and we do! Our dogs got hikes, walks and went snow shoeing while we were gone. We could not have imagined a better person to take care of our home and pets! She is officially now in the group of those we call friends.

Devora and Marcelo were wonderful! So friendly and responsible, I felt completely at ease with them taking care of our home and pets. They were also so immaculately clean, it was such a relief returning home to such a pristine state! Thank you for doing such an amazing job.

Amanda was amazing. I felt so at ease leaving Glory in her hands to look after her. Amanda sent regular updates on Glory. Glory isn't one to give cuddles away easily but Amanda certainly got some! :) She even helped with a leak that happened in my apartment while I was away. I am extremely pleased and would recommend Amanda to anyone and also have her back again should it be possible. Thanks again for everything - I was able to travel in confidence and not worry about a thing.

Hugh and Nell were fabulous sitters - they communicated so well and provided multiple updates throughout the weekend! I could tell right away our pets and home were in such great hands! Thank you so much Hugh and Nell!

Graham and I were very happy to welcome Megan back to take care of our two cats when we went away for 5 weeks. Lizzie and Nigel love her. She keeps them active and playful, and generally takes excellent care of them. We appreciated the updates and photos we received while away. Megan graciously handled visitors, expected and unexpected, who stopped by to raid the veggie garden or just stopped by to say hello or perform a service. Our plants were watered, and the flower gardens still looked good after all that time. I tell house sitters that our priority is to take good care of our cats, in which Megan excels. Everyone has their own standard of cleaning; I leave it up to the sitter as to how much or little to do. For example, it's perfectly fine to leave towels and sheets for me to wash, but we returned to find everything washed. Despite facing a 10 hour drive home, Megan waited until I texted that our plane had landed to take off, after just one more treat session with Nigel and Lizzie. We appreciated the homemade cookies she left to greet us, and other treats left in the freezer. Megan is a responsible, intelligent young woman. We are lucky that she has a job that can be done remotely and is willing to drive long distances to cat sit.

Carrie arrived on time and immediately connected with our two dogs. She took excellent care of the dogs. They went on walks around the neighborhood. She communicated with us every day, sent pictures, and left the house spotless. Highly recommend her.

We had such a wonderful experience with Helen as our housesitter. She is a most unique and interesting person who manages to juggle a demanding job with taking great care of our pets. Both of our animals -- but especially our dog, Gabby -- fell in love with Helen and moped around for a few days after she left. That tells you everything you need to know. We enjoyed getting to know Helen, as she arrived a day or so before we left, and she even played a few pieces on her alphorn -- an instrument we'd never heard played live before. She's an accomplished musician, a wonderful sitter, and a quality person. Much appreciated!

Rebecca was an absolute blessing to have caring for my kitties while I was away. She went above and beyond to care for my home, humidifier refills, plants, grabbing packages etc… and was always happy to do it. Rebecca was also super communicative , willing to facetime prior to her first day, and sent me some great photos/ videos of my boys. From my experience, Rebecca will adjust as you need to make u comfortable while you’re away from ur loved ones ☺️ Also- my 2 cats loved her, cuddled, wanted to be friends and were super cute and happy when i returned (to a clean apartment!!) Joseph took care of our cat and house-sat for us for 2 weeks. In advance of our trip, we were able to do both a virtual and in-person meet and greet to ensure everyone felt comfortable and do a walk through of the house, which we really appreciated.While we were away, Joseph responded quickly to texts/any questions we sent and provided photo and text updates every 1-2 days. Upon our return, our cat seemed happy. Unfortunately, the day of our return, Joseph accidentally locked himself out of our house. He communicated with us and we were able to provide him access to a backup key. However, when we returned home about an hour and a quarter later, we were surprised to find that he was still there (he was supposed to have left much earlier in the day before we arrived home, and we knew he was running a little behind because of the lockout, but he didn’t tell us he would still be there when we walked in). He texted us that the house was clean and ready for us, but unfortunately the house was not clean and the cat litter boxes were quite smelly and appeared not to have been changed or scooped in many days. While we realize that getting locked out of the house created some delays in getting packed and tidying the house, we were upset to find the kitty litter in that state and for the clear disorganization, at least in the final day. We provided this feedback directly to Joseph and hope that this was a one-time experience. However, we would urge clear communication around any expectations for cleaning, communication, and care.

Avary was a dream from start to finish. Excellent communication throughout, very organised (considering she’d travelled all the way from the States to Portugal to look after Bud!) and super self-sufficient. Avary was very sensitive and attentive to Buddies needs and immediately took the time to get to know him. She is clearly very intuitive when it comes to animals (and people!), and her naturally calm and caring nature makes for the perfect combination. I’d recommend Avary to anyone in need of a responsible, kind, conscientious sitter. I’m grateful for the time I had to get to know her and only wish we had longer together! Buddie was very happy and content on my return and my apartment was clean and tidy. Thanks so much Avary for everything! :)
