We had a great stay with Doddie the greyhound. Siwan’s home was spacious, comfortable and had all we needed to have the perfect home away from home. All of the instructions were detailed and clear and our communication with Siwan was easy. Doddie was really easy to care for. He walked beautifully on the lead and was good company at home. He was was gentle and liked to be petted. There were plenty of good walks around the nearby loch and Doddie travelled well in the car too. I would not hesitate to recommend this dog sit to future applicants.
Amazing! Hamish and Georgie are both gorgeous friendly dogs and were a breeze to look after. They love cuddles and treats, and are well behaved on and off the lead for their daily walks. Jo and Jim were lovely and welcomed me into their home with such kindness. All instructions were detailed and Jo was always available if needed. Would 100% love to pet sit again for Jo any day!
Toby is a very cute cat and loves his evening cuddles on the couches. He also kept me company in the kitchen a couple of days as I worked. Ollie is very shy so I didn’t see much of him but he appeared back for food in the evening and ate outside. I had a wonderful stay in Anna’s house, it’s a really great house with everything needed for a long or short stay. There are multiple buses within ten mins walk in to the city centre of Edinburgh. Communication with Anna was easy, we did a call ahead of the sit where she showed me around the house and answered any texts while I was away.
Stinky is a feisty, affectionate cat, very easy to take care of. Ben and Kristina’s warm apartment is full of light, and the regimen required to keep their plants healthy and well is pretty straightforward. With easy access to the public transit system, and shops in the vicinity, it’s easy to move around, shop for groceries or eat out. Ben and Kristina’s relatively simple needs during their absence were explained clearly, and were easy enough to manage. Definitely missing Stinky (for anyone wondering, Stinky the cat is not, despite the name, a stinky cat ;)).
