Dog Sitters in Grasmere

I was so pleased to have met Anne & George . They looked after my home and the animals with great care … and even planted out seedlings in the garden that would have died in my absence. I cannot thank them enough.

Sally did an excellent job of caring for our pets and our house. The pets were happy, and the house was clean and tidy, and linens washed. Sally was excellent with communication. Thank you so much for caring for our family 🐶🐶🐶🐈

Louise is a kind, caring, thoughtful and conscientious person and we felt really lucky to have her pet and house sit for us. She gave us regular updates on how the animals were getting on, and made sure that our anxious elderly dog felt re-assured by her presence. Louise came with her own bedding, towels and even tea towels which meant the house was just as we left it when we returned with the addition of a bowl of fresh fruit from her garden! Thank you so much for looking after everyone so well 😊

Sandra had her hands full with all our pets. She coped very well and especially with Stan the terrier who is not easy.

This is the third time Myriam and David have sat for us and they feel like part of the family. Compassionate and intuitive they have been as caring for us as they have for our animals and our home even offering to delay their stay to allow me time to attend a hospital appointment without pressure. They are very reliable, always self sufficient and leave the house immaculate. I can't say enough to recommend these lovely people.

Hannah is clearly a pet lover and Maddie took to her straight away. She understood what Maddie needed and was on top of it very quickly. Hannah demonstrated everything about Zeewoi that makes it so easy to have your best friend cared for in the best way. She was really clear and communicated just the right amount, sharing some photos to show how happy Maddie was and finalising arrangements. I have no hesitation in recommending Hannah as a carer for pets and home.

It was a delight to find Lisa on zeewoi, she was enthusiastic about the sit from our initial communication and all the arrangements were made smoothly and quickly. I was very reassured about Lisa's pet care from our first conversation and she looked after Abbie, my senior lady poodle, very carefully and affectionately. I had every confidence that Abbie would be well cared for from my first encounter with Lisa and she wasn't phased with having to administer medication 3 times daily. Our Whatsapp messages while I was away were just the right amount to make me feel reassured. Seems like Abbie had a lot of fun being taken to the park in her buggy as she can't walk long distances these days. Thank you from both of us Lisa, hope you'll visit us again.

Susan and Peter were absolutely amazing!! The boys settled pretty fast with them and they loved all the walkies they had every day. Communication was great every day, giving us pupdates and cute pictures of the boys having fun or a good cuddle. We definitely recommend Susan and Peter as housesitters and we'd love to meet them again ❤️

Louise was the greatest! Such a sweetheart, I would recommend her 1,000 x over again. She was reliable and a great communicator. She kept me updated daily with pics. The babies really loved her. She took great care of them while I was away. She was also organized and tidy and let my place is amazing condition. Thanks so much for taking such great care of my babies while I was away. We hope you will come see us again!

Sergio and his family stayed in our home for 11 days looking after our 3 dogs and were absolutely brilliant. Very easy to communicate with before they arrived and then they looked after our dogs and home brilliantly. Our 3 dogs are lovely but one is very young and one is very old, so they needed a bit of attention and they looked after them amazingly and the dogs were obviously very happy. We got lots of photos sent and updates on how they were. They were definitely very loved and pampered whilst we were away. And Sergio and his family left the house spotless and even washed the linen which we did not expect. I could not recommend them highly enough. Such a lovely and kind family. Anyone would be lucky to have them looking after their pets. I’m very happy to give a verbal reference.

Emily was fantastic, our house was immaculate when we returned home but more importantly we knew the animals were being well cared for whilst we were away, which meant we could relax and enjoy our break. Emily kept us regularly updated with pictures showing the dogs on their favourite walks and the cats cuddling up to her. I would definitely recommend Emily as a zeewoi.

Jane was everything you could want from a house sitter. I knew from reading her introductory message, her reviews and chatting to her on the phone, that Jane was a conscientious person and a real animal lover. Jane took great care of our cat, Ollie. She was very sensitive to his needs and his temperament. Whilst Jane was housesitting there was a sudden problem with the lock, meaning it was difficult for Jane to unlock the front door. Jane was understanding and stayed in to deal with the locksmith. We got home to a happy cat and an immaculate home. Jane was very thoughtful. After a long and exhausting journey we arrived home late evening. I realised we had no food and I'd need to go out again to buy bread for breakfast. However, Jane had already thought of this and there was a loaf of bread waiting for us! I'd highly recommend Jane.
