Ortal
What a lovely time I had with Otis at Ortal and Micah’s peaceful, beautiful home! Otis was very well-behaved and affectionate, and the house was clean and pleasant, punctuated with fascinating personal art pieces and surrounded by beautiful views. I received warm, prompt communication from my friendly hosts. I really hope I can come back!

It was such a great time the one with Rhubard and Angus! The low lands of Scotland are breath taking and the surrounding areas of Dumfries are as mesmerising as the ones of the parks in the own city. Rhubard was such a baby with us! She was always looking for hugs and giving us this stare of pure love only dogs have. She was a bit overexcited at the walking hour, but that's completely understandable, because she is still super young and a great learner by the way! WE MISS HER SO MUCH! Hahah And Angus! The calmest dog in the world! He will walk calmly, almost contemplative haha. He was always around and sniffing us. We definitely recommend them! Gillian was always keeping in touch with us and she was so comprehensive in all the little details we shared with them during our days and about our departure! Missing everything about Dumfries already!

Meaghan
Caring for Odessa was an incredible experience! Meaghan and Mark made was gracious and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the sit. I felt very relaxed in their home. The office was particularly stunning and a very cozy place to work, and the neighborhood was beautiful to walk through; there are so many unique homes.

Odessa is extremely easygoing and has lost hearing with age. She responds well to standard techniques for hard of hearing dogs and likes to follow you around and keep you in eyesight. Meaghan and Mark that although she gets enthusiastic about adventures and would love long walks, she is better suited for short and gentle walks. Odessa is very easy to care for. She naps most of the day and will plop down on the floor in whatever room you are in.

I would recommend this sit in a heartbeat to anyone and hope to return if our schedules align in the future!

I had the pleasure of staying with Esmeralda, or more "Kitty" so I felt very much attached to her from the beginning 😀! Kirsten and I had a lovely meal together, taking time to explain and ask whatever needed, very nice! Her house is lovely, garden and location too. Very interesting area to explore. But most of all, Esmeralda takes her time to decide if she finds you or waits a bit.... after a few days she was completely at ease, and we enjoyed our time together. Kirsten and I kept contact, and we both had a good time.
Important to have your own car, and if you want to do biking...it is hilly and the roads have many, many potholes.... just to be informed. Do enjoy Esmeralda, the very nice house and the area.... and beeeeers!!

We had a perfect stay in a very quiet neighborhood in Washington DC. Nessa is a very intelligent, energetic and very neat dog. Mrs. Alexa's house is very cozy and comfortable. I lack stars to evaluate how kind he was with us. I would repeat this house over and over again. The only bad thing is when you leave, you will miss the dog a lot.
