I had the most wonderful two weeks 'sit' in Anne's beautiful family home and totally fell in love with Mo. We all met up beforehand and Anne also left me very comprehensive notes on the house and looking after Mo and a lot of information regarding the area (which is stunning). I'd forgotten how naughty Labradors can be - Mo is quite partial to shoes, knickers and any food within his reach but what a lovable dog. He helped me discover Godalming - we walked, we lunched, we talked to people in the parks. He was my perfect companion for the duration and I was so sad to say goodbye to him. I can thoroughly recommend this sit - it was an absolute pleasure.
Ian and Sally are lovely and were so welcoming and took the time to show us around their property explaining everything really well. They live in a most charming home and although we were there in quite a chilly late November week, the house was always very warm and inviting and cosy inside. The grounds are gorgeous to walk around and it was a delight to meet the alpacas and sheep who were quite inquisitive. After getting used to us the alpacas would happily come up to greet us. I love that all the animals have names. Pablo was quite reserved at the start of the sit, so we gave him space and he quickly built up the confidence to approach us. He is very affectionate and enjoyed being around us. There are some lovely places to visit within easy drive of Heathfield. Would highly recommend this sit.
