I met up with Kate and Will at their beautiful, spacious and comfortable home to meet their pets Chocco and Sushi and the goats, Tom and Harry. Just before the sit I visited again with my husband to see what was entailed to care for the goats as this was a first for me. On each occasion Kate and Will were the perfect hosts. The goats love a bit of bread and I really enjoy interaction with them, even though, on the odd occasion, they could be a bit frisky especially at feeding time. Chocco would always accompany me to feed the goats with bread hoping for a little titbit to come his way. Sushi is very affectionate and will curl up on your lap all day if you let him. I think Chocco wishes he could too. Chocco likes to be in your company but is happy to just sleep or wander into the patio and watch while you tend to the goats. He can be a bit exhuberant nibbling at you when it’s his mealtime and suddenly gets a new lease of life on his walk when turning back to home. Trimdon is a lovely quiet village, and is a perfect place to relax and unwind. In walking distance from the house, there is a Co-op, Pharmacy, Fish and Chip Shop etc. I enjoyed the sit and definitely recommend it, however my honest opinion is that if it were a shorter sit, I recommend it for a single sitter, but it would be more suited to a couple for a longer stay.
We really enjoyed sitting for David and Julie and of course Monty. David and Julie were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable straight away. Monty was an absolute delight, a very enduring little cat and was happy with cuddles. He is such a character. The house and garden was very comfortable and the garden with the river Test at the bottom was really lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and wouldn't hesitate to sit again, should the opportunity arise. We really enjoyed our time in Jacelyn’s spacious and comfortable home. Rosalind is an amusing, clever and lively young dog and she loved to play with our boys. She’s very well behaved whilst on walks and when we got her in her crate for bed she was quiet and we didn’t hear anything from her all night. Einstein was very independent and kept a low profile but occasionally dropped by to say hello and then we could give him some attention. The welcome guide was informative and thorough and communication was good. Jacelyn was quick to respond to any queries we did have. Jacelyn was really kind; she left her key card so that we could use the community facilities. The local play park and swimming pool were a big hit with our boys. Also, we were delighted to spend most of our spare time completing jigsaw puzzles which were also generously made available - we are now hooked! All in all we had a very relaxing time and enjoyed the company of Einstein and Rosalind. We would recommend this sit!
Looking after Harley, Chaco, and Mary's family home was a wonderful experience. We had a blast with the dogs, enjoyed mesmerising sunsets almost daily whilst we were there. It was a peaceful and joyful heaven. We had the opportunity to get to know and appreciate Mary and Dennis' kindness at the end of our stay. Almost 1 year has passed since and we still miss Harley and Chaco!
Kirsten was easy to communicate with and her guide was thorough. House was comfy and Carmela and Turtle were great! Didn't get to meet Toppy. Her house was easy to find and the cats were easy to take care of. They're pretty independent, curious and like to hang out nearby. Carmela warmed up slower but once she did she would walk on you if you're laying down. They both are playful and great cats to hang out with.

She was even kind enough to take in my mail! I knew my cats were in excellent hands, which allowed me to fully enjoy my vacation.
Rebecca is a very responsible cat sitter. We’ve had her come feed our cat while we’re away during several trips we’ve taken recently. She comes in person a week before we leave to confirm when we want her to come, to get keys to our apartment, and to review any special needs. She’s great at communicating with us via text messages. Each time she visits she sends us a detailed summary of how our cat is doing, and includes photos and videos of our cat. We appreciate how she doesn’t just feed our cat, she plays with them, and even cleans their litter box! She makes us feel a lot better about leaving our cat alone when we’re travelling. Also Rebecca’s prices are very reasonable.

Rebecca is great! I’ve booked her twice now to catsit and it’s been a positive experience each time. My cat is a really anxious guy and usually hides when there’s strangers around but he warmed up to Rebecca and actually hung out when she cat sat. A miracle in my book! I cannot recommend Rebecca and her pet sitting services enough! I recently left my cat, Mulan, in her care for two weeks while I was on vacation and she did the most amazing job. Everyday she was timely for the drop-in visits and made sure I got detailed updates, photos and videos of Mulan. I felt super at ease knowing my furry friend was well taken care of and in great hands. She played with Mulan and brought toys to make sure she was actively engaged which I greatly appreciated. Rebecca's cat-sitting service is amazing! She came once or twice a day, depending on the situation, to take care of my furry friend, and it was always excellent service. Erika is a life saver. She is professional, helpful, compassionate, and genuinely loves my dog like her own. From the moment I spoke to mary she was delightful and polite. My family and I had a last minute trip and mary was able to accommodate us with same day. My puppy lou is quite the handful and she had only good words about him. Also gave us updates and lots of pictures of him. He was very happy and well taken care of. Fang is an amazing, kind, and patient dog lover. She has watched my dog a couple of times now and Fang has made me feel at ease each time. Fang took amazing care of my pup for about 3 weeks. She sent me daily photos and frequent updates on how Coffee was doing. I was able to fully enjoy my trip without worrying about my pup. We enjoyed a worry-free 12-day getaway while our Bruce the Chihuahua did the same — at Fang’s!
