We met Flossy, her family and the dogs in advance, which was excellent to get a feeling for Stella and Slate. Stella and Slate are absolutely lovely, cute and also protective. It was very good to meet them before the sitting job started - they already knew who we were and accepted and respected us. Because on the first day of our stay, I entered the house, when Flossy’s family had already left. At short notice my husband hat to leave for his job. That’s why I was alone with the dogs most of the time. I felt absolutely comfortable and I loved being with Stella and Slate. Stella is very warm-hearted, gentle and loves to be petted. Slate is very excited, full of love and wants to be close to you all the time. Slate is quite a heavy dog, but I’ve never had any issues. I miss both dogs very much. ❤️ Flossy provided excellent instructions on both the dogs and the house. No questions unanswered. She was constantly available. If I had any questions, I could’ve contacted her 24/7. The house is great. It's clean, spacious & offers way more than you need. The bed is large and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped & there are plenty of options in the house to relax. A highlight is the movie room! Flossy lives in a quiet and very beautiful area. There is a park right next door which is brilliant for walking or running. Shops can be reached on foot. The huge Joondalup shopping mall is also just a few kilometers away. Sitting for Flossy’s house and dogs was our 8th house sitting experience so far. We loved it and would definitely come back! 👍🏼 Highly recommended.
I had a lovely time sitting for Gizmo and Kola over Xmas and New Year. They are both delightful and so lovely to cuddle up on the sofa with. They are very well behaved and no problem to look after at all. Claire was very easy to communicate with and the house is lovely - close to the sea so perfect for those bracing walks (and a dip if the weather is warmer). Thank you Claire for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
Gillian and David made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. After a super home cooked meal we all walked Olly and Rolly. David pointed out some of the gorgeous local walks. What a superb sit. Kwabi is the most endearing boy. He always wants to be as close to you as possible, preferably on your lap or snuggled up close. His purr is pure therapy. Communication with Jane was excellent and she left us a comprehensive welcome guide. She also gave Graham a useful tour when he arrived. Jane's has a beautiful period property. Such a comfortable place to relax with fabulous Kwabi. The village is very attractive and is close to Woodbridge with all it's independent shops and cafés. Sutton Hoo is within very easy reach and is fascinating. Well worth watching the beautiful film 'The Dig' before you visit. There is a plethora of attractive towns and villages nearby as well as RSPB bird reserves. We can't recommend this sit enough. Thanks again, Jane and Kwabi.
Maggie’s place is very comfortable (massive villa and LOVELY yard). Her two dogs are arguably the best trained and most affectionate dogs in Abu Dhabi. Definitely made the best summer buddies I could ask for. Location of Maggie’s place is good. Secure and safe compound with a well stocked Spinneys, pharmacy, pool and gym all within a 5 minute walk. The complex is less than 5 minutes from KCA that has great restaurants, bars and more retail stores for necessities.
