Melody
This was a fabulous sit. Melody's home and property were a wonderful treat. The dogs, Pinky, Gigi and Kiki were great and got along well with our dog. They all have unique personalities and we really enjoyed getting to know them. Bugsy was also a lot of fun and very easy to care for. Melody was a good communicator and answered all of my questions. We highly recommend this sit.

Betsy
Betsy and Richard made it very easy for us to book this sit and helped with the travel planning, plus pickups and drop offs etc. Warm, welcoming and a delicious meal the night before while doing the handovers! Poor Betsy was unable to travel in the end, so she was around during the sit to give us handy tips and help when needed and was lovely, easy-going company.

Mabel
A gorgeous temperament, as you would expect, loves her walks and is good on the lead, but sometimes pulls a little - she likes to lead the way! She is food motivated and will wait for her treat after a walk and will definitely visit you at the dinner table to see if there are any scraps! She went crazy for a bone that Betsy brought and loved to toss it around too.

Molly
A gentle giant, we called her 'wolf-dog', as her loping walk and size very much reminded us of a wolf! She is a bit nervous (but in no way aggressive) around new people, particularly men, but if you move slowly and let her come to you she warms up and loves a pet or a belly rub. Extremely good on the lead - no pulling, which is great as we weren't able to let her off due to her tendency to roam too far. She doesn't always go to the bathroom when out and about on lead though, which led to a number of cleanup situations in the house.

The Cats
A gorgeous trio - Betsy preferred to take care of them since she was around and so we just had the pleasure of their lap/bed visits! Very friendly and Oscar even followed us on a walk one day!

The House
Just wow. Such a stunning house - designed beautifully and the views all around were just incredible. Our room was very comfortable - big and loads of space for our belongings. We made good use of the hot tub one chilly afternoon and the kitchen was lovely to cook in! You definitely get your steps in at this one - it's massive, but also very cosy.

The Area
We took the dogs on three walks per day, so that allowed us to explore the trails on the land, it can get a bit muddy, but there is a dog bathing area in the garage which came in very handy! We were also able to explore Steamboat Springs itself, since we had use of a car, and found it to be a pretty town, some lovely trails to walk and some natural hot springs.

We really loved our experience at Richard and Betsy's place with all the animals and do recommend it to others! We hope to see them all again one day!
