Cat Sitters in Great Amwell

The moment I started to chat to Julie on Zoom I knew that she would be the perfect house sitter and my first impressions were spot on. She came with her daughter for 6 days over Christmas 2023. They are a delightful, interesting and intrepid pair, I really enjoyed hearing about all their adventures and plans. They were brilliant at looking after my house and cat whilst I was away. Nothing was too much trouble for them, Julie was great at keeping in touch and left the house cleaner and tidier than when she arrived. Having them to stay meant that I was entirely relaxed about going on my trip, I did not worry for one second about anything. She even made a delicious supper for me when I got back home! I cannot recommend her more highly and hope that we will meet again soon.

Viv was fabulous: a real an 'animal person', who is phased by nothing, and our lively pup seemed super happy her care. House was lovely and tidy on our return too. Highly recommended!

I couldn’t recommend Elizabeth and Florian more. They were excellent house and pet sitters in every way. Very friendly, incredibly efficient and the house was left in perfect condition. Our cat, Smokey seemed very happy and totally unfazed by the change in circumstances. This was very important to us; we have only had him for a few months and it had taken him a while to settle in, so we weren’t sure how he would be with new, substitute pet-parents. All great. Very happy to see Elizabeth and Florian again if they wanted another go!

Gemma and Kieran were amazing hosts that took great care of Ardie. They looked after our place and our boy for a full month and we came home to a clean house and a happy cat. They provided updates and pics throughout the stay and we would highly recommend them!

Leticia was a great sitter and took really good care of our two cats. She kept in contact with us whilst we were away and sent us nice pictures to show us what our two felines were up to. We came home to a really tidy home and two very happy cats who had definitely enjoyed their time with Leticia. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Leticia and hope she will be able to help us out again in the future.

Sophie is a fabulous catsitter, she even battled through 2 power cuts and the subsequent loss of Internet with patience and humor. Nero loves her!

Jane & Alex arrived on time and I could immediately tell that our terriers were going to have a lovely time with them. They understood everything quickly and were happy to send a daily photo and update. I returned to an immaculate house and happy dogs. Highly recommend

Nikki and Ant were absolutely flawless sitters. Their communication in the run up to the sit was amazing. They arrived promptly and were both lovely (as were their children). They took wonderful care of the animals and house, and took the rain and the fact that the dog was in season in their stride. They sent lots of helpful WhatsApp updates while we were away so we knew everything was going well (and also checked before we went whether we wanted updates). When we arrived home, they were a pleasure to come home home to and were very understanding of the fact that the traffic was terrible and we were an hour late. The animals had obviously been really well cared for and the house was immaculate. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you!

We loved having Hannah and Jed look after our puppy and home. They were tidy, communicative, and clearly have experience looking after dogs and puppies. On my return, Mabel was still in her routine and was relaxed. We’d 100% recommend Hannah and Jed!

Morgana came to housesit and look after my two dogs while I was away for a week. She was 100% reliable, friendly, communicated well and looked after the dogs impeccably. I came home to an extremely tidy house which was such bonus. I hope she'll return one day!

Without question Elena is the absolute best housesitter you could ask for. Don't hesitate in booking if she applies for your sit! She looked after my brood as though they were her own. Sends plenty of updates and is just all round wonderful. This is our second sit and I only hope not the last!

Anya looked after our labrador for 2 weeks and she was the best! Communication was great from our first contact and until the end of the sit, she sent us daily updates and pictures throughout the 2 weeks. Our dog was very happy with all the walks, cuddles and attention! She looked so happy in the pictures and when we came back! Finally, Anya left our flat very clean and tidy, which was amazing after our long journey back home. We would definitely recommend entrusting Anya with your pets and your home, and we will make sure to contact her for future sits!
