Dog Sitters in Great Amwell

Hitoe arrived on time and helped us out by staying for an extra day at the end. Her sister and husband also stayed while she was sitting. The cats seemed happy when we got home and she provided regular pictures while we were away and there were no issues. The house wasn’t particularly clean when we got home and the upstairs patio doors were all left unlocked. Not a major issue as the cats are our priority and Hitoe was very pleasant when we met her before we left so we are sure that the cats had her full attention while we were away.

This was Gemma and Aaron's second long sit with Daisy. They have a brilliant relationship with her and treat her as their own. Gemma and Aaron are very organised, excellent communicators and left our house very clean and tidy. We hope they will continue to sit for Daisy in the future. They are lovely people and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

Liis was exceptional and I highly recommend her for any pet sit! Pebbles is an anxious cat and required medication at the time of Liis’ stay - Liis took great care of her and updated me throughout the stay as to how Pebbles was getting on. She sent photos and took time to explain how she was gaining Pebbles’ trust. The flat was left extremely tidy and my house plants were the thriving. I have never felt more at ease leaving my house and cat with someone and am so grateful to Liis for that.

Jamie and Kate were excellent sitters, they kept in touch and really looked after Charlie and the house as if it were their own. Thank you very much to you both we’d love you to be able to sit again.

Aida and Hasier did a wonderful job of taking care of our cat Luna. They kept us updated and sent us regular photos which was great. They also carefully followed all instructions in the welcome guide so that Luna was in her usual routine. We came home to a perfectly clean and tidy house, and a very happy cat! I would highly recommend Aida and Hasier to house sit for you.

This is the second time Juliana and Thiago have looked after our house and pets and if we could we would give them 10 stars! We felt 100% confident that our dog Pepper and Cat Marley would be absolutely loved by them. They took Pepper on lovely walks and adventures and we came back to an amazingly clean and tidy house and a happy dog. Thank you both of you, Sarah And Matt

Hannah came and stayed for a weekend and looked after both our house, and our dog Peggy, very well indeed. She makes an excellent house : intelligent and responsible and was very affectionate towards our Peggy. We would gladly use her services again.

Karen was an excellent house sitter. She looked after our pets very well, and they loved her from the moment she was introduced to them. She was in contact with us to let us know how the animals were and if there were any issues always tried to sort them before asking us. The house was kept clean and tidy and plants looked after. Karen is very friendly, and thoughtful with the pets. I enjoyed chatting to her about her travels. Thank you and good luck with your onward travels.

Jess and Nick were absolutely AMAZING. They had such care and attention given to not only Crumpet, but also our home. They were super responsive and gave us plenty of updates throughout the week-long sit and left our home sparkling clean. Most importantly, Crumpet was a very happy pup who very clearly missed them after they left! We will absolutely be shortlisting them for future sits.

Daisy was brilliant looking after our 2 cats and sent me updates on how they were doing and sent photos too! I felt really reassured that the cats were being looked after. The house was also super tidy. I would definitely have Daisy to stay again!

Laura was only with us for a day but she did a really good job. She arrived on time and obviously loves dogs. Our 2 were very happy in her company and enjoyed their walks with her. We would be more than happy for Laura to come again.

What can I say? Mellissa is simply divine in every way. She has a lovely warm and calm energy and my cat loved her straight away. I felt completely secure leaving my pet and my house in Mellissa's care. She is reliable, clean and tidy, honest and experienced with animals. I highly recommend Mellissa.
