We contacted Essex Paw-Sitters Club after contacting almost the entirety of Essex. Our boy isn’t the calmest of dogs and gets himself in a pickle sometimes but they were absolutely amazing with him. I’m so glad we found you ❤️ My partner and I went away for the weekend with complete peace of mind knowing he would be well looked after and cared for. We also received updates throughout the stay which made us feel so comfortable knowing he was having the best time. Thank you again! 💫

Absolutely brilliant kennels, they have taken so much care with all of our pets. Our dog has health needs and they are absolutely excellent with giving her her medication and looking out for her. Really kind and professional team. Highly recommended.

Tina our 8month old border collie had her first stay away from home at the start of the heatwave. when we came to collect her it was very clear in a time of very hot weather that she had been looked after very well and did not seem in rush to leave in fact she seemed more interested in going for a walk with the man that brought her out ! having owned collies for the last 50 years these are the best kennels we have used highly recommended

Superb 1st time experience for our 6 month old retriever Compo and many thanks to Martin and all the girls for providing such a necessarily superb service for dogs/puppies who may never have stayed away before, as was the case with ours, who came back looking great, having had a wonderful time by the look of the bespoke invoice with his picture on the bottom, running in his run ears everywhere, which is a very nice touch. Seen here with his brother at the Norwich Country Fair this year, which was a treat! Looking forward to the next time, as is he, regards Noel Durdant-Hollamby

Always five star treatment for all the cats and dogs when they stay here. I've been using Duck End Kennels for my Labrador for a couple of years now and wouldn't take him anywhere else. He runs off excited to be there when we arrive and always comes back clean and fresh smelling!

We had been let down over Xmas so getting a kennel for Queenie was great. Martin really helped us out & for additional fees collected/returned Queenie. The farm was a lot more expensive but all reviews said it was 5stsr so all good. She had her own food & we were told she’d be well looked after - unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Queenie was returned completely & utterly matted, the mud was so impacted on her fur that 3 baths later we had to admit defeat & send her for grooming. The groomers had never seen a dog so bad they said. She had to b completely shaved down & her fur is less than 1/2 inch all over. On top of that she was poorly with serve diarrhoea. 7 days in & off the vets we go to find she’s lost 2kg (she’s a cockaspaniel) so that’s a lot, she’s got stomach infection & dehydrated. 2 lots of different meds & another week on sofa for our poor girl. I really wasn’t going to complain but after speaking to vet they urged me to as other people need to know. Moral of story, even when you pay for expensive thgs/service you don’t always get them. We will NEVER use DUCKENDFARM AGAIN

I was recommended by a few people to use this kennels while we were away for 2 weeks. I was nervous as Willow was only 7 month's old and had not been apart from us for longer than a couple of hours and did not know how she would cope with new people and other dogs being around. Plus I wanted to make sure that she was in good hands as she is our baby (of course). Well it seems like Willow had a fabulous time here for 2 weeks while we were away! She was a very happy little bundle of fluff when we came back! And they did a superb job of looking after her and even bought more of her food (I didn't give them enough). I definitely will be using this kennels with confidence next time we go away! Thank you so much to all the people involved ❤️

Normally my dog hates going to the kennels, however he came back from here so relaxed and chilled... Bonus point is they have an independant groomers attached at the side and they do amazeball jobs on your pets too.

My two rascals love it here - every time I drop them off they run as fast as their little legs can carry them without lingering to say bye to me! 😂 The staff are all super lovely and helpful. I regularly travel due to a long-distance marriage, so my dogs spend a fair bit of time back + forth to Duck End, but I've never once felt worried about their safety, or that they're not happy given their joy on arrival and departure! 🤭

We highly recommend Duck End Farm kennels. We were nervous leaving our pup for the first time, who was only 5 months old at the time, but she loves the staff there and always comes back happy. In fact, when we first picked her up she went running back to one of the girls rather than coming out with us!! It is reassuring for us to have a place we can trust to leave her - thank you.

Beth is wonderful and looks after your dog as if it’s her own. Winston had a wonderful time in September and made lots of friends. Not sure if he wanted to come home when we picked him up having too much fun. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Bumbles home from home and you know your dog will be well looked after. I've used Executive Pet Care Services home visits service for my two indoor cats several times now, following our move to the area around 19 months ago. They are set up to harvest all the information they need about the animals they're asked to look after and I love receiving daily reports with photos of their visits to our house. It's great to be able to book 'stay and play' sessions and it's clear both my cats enjoy the visits and dedicated play time. I'll not hesitate to continue using their services in the future, especially knowing they are supplying DBS checked staff and that they cross their 't's' and dot their 'I's' so they are able to act in the event of an emergency that requires a vet in my absense.

I have recently had the pleasure of dealing with Executive Pet Care Services. I was caring for my sons dog Ralph , whilst he was on holiday. I wasn’t able to walk Ralph so my son contacted this company. I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received. Paul turned up on time every day, he even sent a text to let me know when he was on his way. Ralph was extremely happy under Paul’s care, and Paul was kind enough to forward me pictures every day showing me how Ralph was doing. Thank you for taking such good care of Ralph, I know he is going to miss you Paul. I wish you all the very best for the future and I will certainly be recommending your wonderful business to family and friends if they ever need help.Thanks again.

Our Miniature Schnauzer Rodney loves going to socialisation class and group walks with all his new friends! Anna and Genna are so professional and knowledgeable, and Rodney loves them, running out the door when they arrive. The attention to detail they go to sharing photos and sending a report every week is great, they really know his personality well. Our only regret is we didn't find them sooner!

Anna & Jenna are absolutely brilliant with my dog. When he knows his going out with them he gets so excited. They are very professional and are knowledgeable in what they do. They provide a great service and treat my fav as if he was there own. Can’t recommend them enough. 😀🦮

Anna and Genna have been so wonderful with my 2 rescue Labs, they were both anxious and wary from their previous life but now with socialisation and group walks they are much happier and confident. I cannot recommend enough.

The love, care and attention our dog receives during his stay is second to none. Videos of walks and care during his stay are very reassuring and certainly helps us enjoy our holiday. Jill and John offer an amazing day care service, their care for the dogs is amazing. Our dog Tay has been going to Jill and John for for nearly three years. Tay is always happy to go in the mornings and then always comes home happy and tired after having a good day of being exercised, we receive pictures and videos with updates of when Tay has been out on walks. When we go away and can't take Tay, we have no concerns on leaving him with Jill and John, knowing they care for him as much as we do. We could not hesitate to recommend Jill and John to anyone looking for dog day care services.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. John & Jill provide a safe, fun loving day care to my two dogs Henry & Obi. I can go to work knowing they are loved and treated as members of the family , such genuine people which is rare in this day & age. Thank you both, don’t know what I would do without you guys :-)

My dog is so happy here. The dogs day is spent playing together with the other dogs and being played with and looked after by the staff. It is excellent environment for dogs and puppies. My dog has been coming a day a week since they were a tiny pup. It taught them to mix well with other dogs. It has helped my dog be the social, happy friendly dog he is now. He is always eager to go and exhausted when he gets back from all that play. Even though this is a doggy hotel and daycare, not a kennel, it is such amazing value. The staff are amazing, and you can really tell they love the dogs, and I trust them. Thank you so much.

My boys absolutely love going to Rachel's doggy lodge! They've been going there pretty much since they were a year old and still get so excited every time we drop them off. Rachel and the team are the only people I trust to look after the boys when we go away and I cannot thank them enough for always going above and beyond for us. I honestly wouldn't take the boys anywhere else

Gracie loves coming here. She bounds in without a backward look and comes home exhausted after spending all day playing with her doggy friends. She has also boarded at times which has got us out of a fix! The lovely staff are always super helpful.

The beagles love it! Every time they come home they spend three days sleeping :D The biggest difference between the doggy lodge and a typical boarding is the noise. When you drive up to a typical boarding you can hear dogs barking non stop from a mile away. That’s not to say the dogs at doggy lodge don’t bark but the difference is clearly they play with other dogs, run around and do dog stuff. They seem a lot more relaxed and more like a playing field or a mini holiday rather than just boarding. All of the guys are great as well very considerate of different needs of the animals. Overall it’s always been great here the beagles love it couldn’t be happier.

Rocket has been using occasional day care and going on his holidays at Rachel's Doggy Lodge for 4 years now. He's a velcro dog who can be a bit nervous around other dogs but I never have to worry about him when he's there. Everyone takes great care of all the dogs and socialising has done him the world of good. Couldn't rate the team more highly.

We have been taking our dog Dave to Rachel’s doggy lodge for 7 years. Dave loves going for a full fun packed day. All of the team look after the dogs as if they are their own. We also use the boarding too when we are away & we know Dave is well looked after and has his perfect holiday! If you are looking for daycare or boarding Rachel’s doggy lodge has it all. Having an 8 year old Velcro Cockerpoo who has never been left with anyone other than family I was definitely worried about where I could leave her for our holiday this year now that circumstances had changed. Well I needn’t have worried! Rachel and her team worked hard with our precious Ruby introducing and reassuring her in her trials before we left. Rachel reviewed and monitored Ruby and didn’t think she would be very confident staying overnight at the lodge so instead took her back to her own home every night where Ruby evicted Rachel’s own dogs to the floor and slept in Rachel’s bed instead! When you find someone who loves your dog as much as you do you know you have found the right place. Couldn’t recommend this place more absolutely amazing!

Our lab has regularly been going to Rachel's Doggy Lodge for the day and as a boarder since she was a puppy and we wouldn't send her anywhere else. She is always so excited to see her doggy and human friends, instantly standing up and wagging her tail as we turn down the familiar road. Rachel and her team take good care of the dogs in their charge and have helped us out of some sticky situations when public transport has stopped us getting home after time away. Thank you to all the team for looking after our pup so well!

My dog loves this place - he treats it like his second home! The staff are truly wonderful and go above n beyond to make his stay comfortable and enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you all next year. X

We have been using Kitty Comforts for our two boys for many years now, pretty much since they opened their doors. Amanda is brilliant, nothing is ever too much trouble. Our two boys have always been happily settled there, unlike other places where they would sulk and not eat for a couple of days. We will never consider going elsewhere now.

I have been going to Kitty Comforts for possibly 4 years now and I can honestly say Amanda is amazing. She is great at caring for my cats and she is very honest and open. The Cattery is very clean and she always follows my own feeding routines. Bonus points to her that my cats always come home happy.

I have left my two cats in the care of Amanda at Kitty Comforts several times now and I know they are extremely well cared for. I have no hesitation in recommending Kitty Comforts . My two cats are always very happy there. Amanda makes the booking process easy. Her communication is great and I know I can always enquire as to how my cats are and she will let me know straight away. The cattery is immaculate, very clean and well looked after. I can go on holiday knowing that I don’t have to worry about my cats as they’ll be in very good hands. 5 stars and highly recommended from me, thank you for a great service.

Amanda has looked after our cats twice now and has taken fantastic care of our little felines both times. The facilities are brand new and set in a lovely area, so the cats get a little holiday too! They allowed us to settle the cats in ourselves and - on return - the cats were very content. I don't think we'd be able to go back to a standard cattery now we've had the pleasure of Kitty Comforts.

Very much recommend Amanda and the team at Kitty Comforts. They took amazing care of my grumpy cat for two weeks even when he was very scared and was not enjoying boarding life. Thank you Kitty Comforts for being so patient and caring for Hugo. X

Our cat has now been to Kitty Comforts three times and is booked in later this summer too. It's very clean and set in a lovely environment and Amanda and her family are very friendly and hospitable! We wouldn't go anywhere else!

First time that we have used the Cattery. The housing was spacious and clean. Our cat appeared very happy and comfortable upon our return and the owner was very hospitable.

I have been using Bobbi to walk my two dogs for nearly a year now. They have also stayed with Bobbi while we have been away. Bobbi is fantastic and you can see she cares very much for them. My dogs can be stubborn at times but Bobbi takes the time to understand what they need and accommodates for this. Highly recommend her for walking and pet care services

Extremely happy with the service provided from Emma at Barking Mad. We have used the service twice so far and both times our Frenchie has come home happy after having a lovely holiday with a host family. We received regular updates from Emma whilst we were away with photos and Emma made sure that the host family knew every little detail about our quite high maintenance dog :D. We will 100% be using the service again for any holidays we go on as we will feel confident our dog is being looked after and having a lovely time being spoilt by another family. We have used Barking Mad on a number of occasions as an alternative to putting our Labrador into kennels. The service is superb with prompt pick up and return and the care and attention shown by all of their employees and carers has been excellent. Our Labrador always returns happy and healthy and we would highly recommend Barking Mad to other pet owners

Emma and her team are always very friendly, always very helpful and our Pooch is calm and happy when he is chauffeured home. We used to use a good kennel, but he was never as content and well looked after as he is now with Barking mad. Highly recommended.
