Starlet is a gem of a human and pet sitter. My senior dogs turned out to not be very good care recipients as they were super anxious with me gone and made her pay the price, but she was patient and kind and communicative. I highly recommend her to anyone with pet care needs.
Erica is a super friendly and flexible host with clear communication and expectations. They have a beautiful home with a large backyard and two sweet dogs, Lola and Royal. Lola is an older pup who appreciates hugs and love. Royal is a high-energy puppy who enjoys long walks and lots of playtime in the garden. They immediately accepted us, friendly towards foreigners and our 6-month-old too. Their neighborhood is very safe and close to the Texas Hill Country, where you can do a lot of outdoor activities (there are hikes, beautiful rivers, lakes, and the city of Austin nearby).
Had a fun week in Shawlands over Christmas - lots to explore on the Southside of Glasgow & super quick to get into town. Lewie & Pippa were great companions - both with their own distinct personalities & as the week went on, more & more snuggly!
I'm going to miss my time here! Abbey was very sweet and easy. The neighborhood is close to some great restaurants, parks, and the lake. Pat and Jack were very communicative and friendly. Can't recommend enough.
We loved spending time with Bailey, Tommy and Delilah! Bailey was a very energetic dog that required a lot of patience, love and attention - which we happily gave! The house was super cosy and we spent a lot of time walking in the countryside and relaxing watching TV and reading books. Deema was super helpful and made us feel at home during our stay. Was the perfect getaway from the big city!
This was my first sit through THS and it couldn't have been a better way to start this journey. Maike was very welcoming, we had a great connection right away. Communication was always easy and smooth. The house felt spacious and calm, filled with many beautiful furniture pieces which Maike and Daniel brought back from their travels around the world. I loved sipping my morning coffee in the garden and watching Snurre and Mozi explore and play. Both cats were really easy to take of. Snurre loves to snuggle, Mozi mostly loves some company - but they're also both independent and like to do their thing. Near the house are some lovely corn field trails and the famous Kirschbaumallee where the Berlin Wall once stood. And of course the city centre is just a Katzensprung away. I can recommend this sit wholeheartedly. I'm sure I'll be back here sooner than later.
