My 2 11 month old labs spent 2 weeks at cottage kennels. Doug & his team did a fantastic job keeping them happy & safe. Doug is a very knowledgeable person and has given me some great advise on how to handle my monsters. Thanks Doug.

We were recommended to use Cottage Kennels by a local kennels that was unfortunately ceasing trading. We contacted Doug who recently accommodated our two dogs for the first time for a ten day stay. From the outset, Doug was very engaging and obviously has the dogs interest at heart. He listened to our summary of their individual personalities and needs, and we left very reassured that our dogs were in good hands. When we collected the dogs from their first stay, Doug gave us helpful and informative feedback on their time with him. We left very impressed, and will certainly be using Cottage Kennels for all our boarding requirements in the future. Thank you Doug.

Recommended by our neighbour, Murphy, our Lab cross, has been staying under the care of Douglas at Cottage Kennels, when we holiday since 2017. Murphy happily wags his tail on arrival and we have had no worries or concerns, as we see the dogs are kept in clean and secure surroundings. Douglas has many years of experience and has given us good advice with Murphy as he is our first family dog.

This is the first time using cottage kennels and I was a tad apprehensive as we'd had a bad experience with a previous kennels but I need not have worried. I collected my 2 and they were so happy . I thoroughly recommend cottage kennels. The owner after a few days sussed my springer out . I will definitely be using them again. Thank you for taking care of them

First time stay for our 2 GSD’s and they left happy and clean (we have used other boarding facilities in the past and the dogs have left rather smelly)! Doug is a really knowledgable, friendly guy and I have absolutely found our new regular boarding kennels :-)

Great kennels. We dropped Maggie our Vizsla off for two weeks and she was very well looked after. She smelled fab when we picked her up, thought it was my husband’s aftershave, but after much sniffing realised it was the dog 🤣 Highly recommended …

I have two springers, aged 7 and 8 who had never been in kennels before. To say I was apprehensive was an understatement! There was no need. Doug was so good with the dogs, explaining all that would happen. he makes a point of getting to know each of the dogs in his care which was evident when we visited to look around. He texted me when I was on holiday with reassurance that they had settled well. when I collected them they were clearly comfortable in their surroundings. I will be going back. I cannot recommend him enough. I had viewed another kennels before there and the difference was obvious. Thank you for being a genuine animal lover !

I would highly recommend Jacqui and her team. Millie is our first dog and the support has been fantastic. A very reliable service. We love receiving our photos/videos to hear where she has been and her adventures!! Millie’s time with Jacqui and her team, has truly helped with her training and socialisation. She gets to meet and play with so many other dogs and truly enjoys her time.

Jacqui was our chaperone at our recent wedding for our dog Otto. Jacqui was outstanding the entire day, she collected him and looked after him so well. Her care and professionalism are second to none. If you are looking for someone to help make your dog part of your special day look no further.

Jacqui is amazing! She chaperoned our wedding last November and took great care of our dog Schubert, and also walked him down the aisle as ring bearer. Schubert felt comfortable with her right away! She is a lovely person and pays very close attention to detail. She met up with us first to make sure Schubert would be comfortable with her and walked him, asked about his needs, our needs for the wedding day etc. She made sure that our rings were secure and safe and made Schubert feel at ease while all the morning wedding preparations were going on! She also dropped him off to boarding after the ceremony and kept us updated with everything. We would highly recommend Jacqui’s services for your wedding/dog walking needs, we couldn’t have found a better chaperone! She helped make our wedding day run so smoothly. Thank you, Jacqui!! xx

We had the pleasure of Jacqui as our dog chaperone for our wedding. Little Lola was very lucky to have such a gentle and caring lady by her side for the day. Jacqui looked the part and fit in very well to the dress code and did a great job looking after Lola. We met in advance of the wedding so she could get to know her, she then carried out the chaperoning for the day and helped us get Lola to take the rings down the isle. She then took her home and looked after her into the evening. 10/10 would recommend. thanks

Always prompt, good communicator, our two labs look forward to their walks. Added plus is the pics of the dogs on their walks around their familiar favourite places. We have been with this company for over a year and found them utterly reliable and trustworthy. We leave a handy towel to dry them off as they are undeterred by weather and care for our dogs as they would their own. Thoroughly recommended.

I previously reviewed Jacqui's amazing service as our dog walker before we moved away from the area. So we knew exactly who to turn to to help get our dog Freddy to our wedding in June 2023. Jacqui is super organised and friendly to deal with, she makes the whole process very easy and knew Fred would be happy and safe in her hands while he was at the wedding. He was fed, watered, walked and mingled with our guests and ready to pose for his photos. Jacqui was able to organise pick up and drop off back to the dog boarders so we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day and our family was complete. Could not recommend her wedding chaperone service enough!

We're so glad we found Jacqui who made it possible for our dog to be part of our wedding day. There were a few other dog wedding chaperones contacted nearer to home who turned their noses up at her being a Rottweiler. But Jacqui took the time to meet her and arrange a couple of walks to get to know her a little before the big day. On the day Jacqui collected our girl from holiday kennels, so she could be with us during the ceremony and after photos. She was on hand to look after our dog at the venue when needed and helped our photographer by using a squeaky to get her looking at the camera. She then returned her safely back at the holiday kennels. Jacqui was friendly, helpful and a pleasure to work with. Would 100% recommend!

We got married on the 26th October 2024 and we wanted our two dachsunds to be a part of our special day. From initial consultation to the big day itself Jacqui was professional throughout and we couldn't have asked for a better chaperone for our special day. Having Jacqui from For Our Love of Pets as a doggie chaperone at our wedding was one of the best decisions we made about the day! Our dog Darwin is such an important part of our lives and it was so special to have him as our ring bearer but also as part of our day in general. Knowing that he was looked after so well by Jacqui was a great comfort! She was extremely professional and took amazing care of Darwin on the day! She even walked him up the aisle for us and accompanied him to our drinks reception on the lawns so he could also great our guests as he is so used to doing! I cannot thank Jacqui enough and can highly recommend her amazing services! What an incredible business!

We used Jacqui and her wedding chaperone service for our wedding at the beginning of April and I honestly can't sing her praises enough! Jacqui was super helpful in the planning process and always easy to communicate with and quick to respond. She made us feel relaxed and comfortable which is so important as we didn't actually live in the area so our dog only met her once before the wedding. Communication on the day was fantastic and she even took some pictures for us! Would recommend Jacqui to anybody and can't thank her enough.

When I was let down a week before my holiday, I contacted Sit Stay! Animal Care with little hope but I had a helpful reply straight away. Chris is accommodating and caring and I can't praise her highly enough. We met up a couple of days later and my dog took to her straight away. I was so relieved to leave Lucy with such a kind and competent person and the almost daily texts and emails meant I didn't have to worry at all during my holiday. Nothing was too much trouble and I would thoroughly recommend her.

I was injured recently and so was unable to look after my mare properly. I was passed Chris' details by another livery on my yard who had used her when she went on holiday and recommended her to me. Chris was absolutely amazing and, due to the unexpected circumstances and urgency for help, she came out to visit me and my mare the very same day that I contacted her. I was reassured by her calm nature and easy going personality. My mare, who can be a bit of a handful, also took to her and was relaxed throughout the week or so that Chris helped me. Chris is punctual, tidy, confident with horses and very reasonably priced. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chris and would definitely use her again in the future.

I have 5 dogs as well as chickens to care for, and have used Mrs Day's pet/house sitting service on many occasions both to live in and for short daily visits. I have complete confidence in her and know I simply 'leave her to get on with' whatever needs doing. Her animal care is exemplary, she is reliable, confident and caring, putting the needs of her charges first. She is always ready to help and has a 'can do' approach stepping in at very short when asked. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Chris is a genuine lovely lady and done fantastic job not just looking after our 3 cats but also our home while we was on holiday, she even sent us emails just saying how it was going which gave us such peace of mind. She even had no quibbles over having to administer medication to one of my cats. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use again.

I can't rate the service Chris provides highly enough. Our animals love her! She is extremely reliable and takes the trouble to get to know your pets and individual requirements before her first stay. Our two dogs have very different needs: one a good long walk and the other, due to old age, a quick game of ball on the field opposite our house. This can be time consuming but Chris, anxious to maintain the dogs' regular routines, is happy to oblige. She's a considerate house guest too. (Mindful of how much washing holidays generate, she offered to bring a sleeping bag for a short stay.) Pet care when away used to be a real worry for us - often meaning we couldn't make family functions - but, happily, this is no longer the case.

Totally reliable and absolutely brilliant with all our assorted animals we cannot recommend Chris highly enough. It is such a relief to know that we are able to go away and we do not need to worry about them or indeed the house and garden...her service is invaluable... Happy owners of chickens,ducks,kune kune pigs, pygmy goats, two dogs and one cat! Alisoun and Alec Bilous.

We cannot recommend highly enough. Two of our dogs are with Hal and Isaac everyday and love going. It’s great to know they’re being so well looked after - and having fun- whilst we’re at work. We even get photos everyday of them playing with their doggy pals. Absolutely first class.

Fantastic daycare - like a big doggie play date! Lovely people, really accommodating and great with the dogs. Dexter is so excited when he arrives, he has loads of fun and I don’t have to worry about him being bored at home 😀

Safe place for your dogs

We recently moved from the US to England and were very weary of leaving our precious dog with anyone while we are aware. Sam has made us feel more than comfortable leaving our dog in her care. She is extremely responsive and communicative while we are away. Our dog always comes home well cared for and happy. She created a warm welcoming environment for us and our dog. We are happy to leave our dog with Sam and would recommend her for anyone!

Love love love sending our dog to Happy Paws, it means we can enjoy our holidays even more because we know that he is having the best time ever. Marian sends daily photos to so we can see what a fabulous time he's having, either in front of the wood burner in the winter or in the doggy paddling pool in the summer. I just wish Happy Paws did human holidays!! Just brilliant.

I've used Wits End Kennels for many years & can't recommend them enough. It's a relief to know that you have nothing to worry about whilst you're away & your beloved dog is getting the best care available.

I took my GSD dog here for a one night stay in June. Picked up my dog and he was covered in his own urine, was extremely thirsty and was limping on his paw. Not sure if the stress caused him to chew his paw or if he caught it but he was extremely upset. Never again, you couldn’t pay me to return.

They are hands down best the best Kennels in Worcester. My dogs had been there for a while and they always took care of them like their own. Our time has finally come to an end soon but I would recommend this kennel to absolutely anyone and they are just a wonderful family friendly environment. Our rescue German Shepherd has stayed here 3 times now for long weekends and we couldn't be happier. When we drop him off he happily trots off with the staff without a 2nd look back at us- which can only be a good sign that he knows he is somewhere nice! We use kennels as he's a friendly boy but a 40kg boundy handful at times and we don't want to worry about him while we are away without him. You can tell the staff here love looking after the dogs, and everyone we've met has been so friendly. Will absolutely use for anytime we need him to be looked after, highly recommend.

The staff at Wits End Kennels are really good - the first time I took my dog there I was really worried as she's a rescue dog who has had a lot of trauma early in her life and I was concerned that she would find kennels (for day care only) stressful. However, the staff are so good with her that now she wags her tails as we pull up in the car park which is a real relief and I know I don't need to worry about her. So happy that we have been able to find a kennels that don't just accept your good little lap dogs and understand that some are more difficult but still need a holiday! This was the 2nd time using these kennels. We used them at Christmas OMG my dogs were horrendous, they stank of urine and the white bits were urine stained and they came back rather subdued. Never again will they be going back there nor would I recommend them

Lovely friendly staff who looked after our Newfoundland very well. He smelt gorgeous when we collected him and I could tell he had a good time. It's always a positive that he has bright eyes and a wet nose(sounds silly but it's a definite sign he is well) He has been twice and on each occasion I have been very happy. You can tell the staff really care about your dog. Will be using every time we go on holiday.

Lovely place. Kind caring staff. Our two elderly dogs had never been in kennels before and, despite loosing a little weight which didn't do them any harm, they didn't want to leave.

I let my Romanian street dog Bruno go to wits end for a week and cannot thank them enough for taking such good care of him. Would definitely recommend highly he was well taken care of and didn’t smell of kennels like others do after a stay at kennels! Thanks for all the hard work you do for these animals ❤️

Sam looked after our tel labradors beautifully. She was kind and patient with our long list of requests! She sent loads of pupdates and was flexible and helpful. The house was exactly as we left it and she was very easy to contact and communicate with. Highly recommended thanks Sam.

Sam was amazing! Came for an initial meeting and explained everything fully and listened to what we had to say. Both cats took to her really well and she sent updates so we could see how they were getting on. Went the extra mile and collected/ put out or bins for us too. Will definitely be using the service again and would highly recommend. Thank you Sam!

I would highly recommend Sam. She took great care of my little cat Ivy. Sam sent me photos of her throughout the weekend we were away and Ivy really seemed to like her and house was left just as we left it. Thank you Sam From Sally and Ivy! X

Sam is amazing with our little spaniel and he absolutely loves her. She helps us out on set days but is also flexible across the rest of the week when we need some last minute support too. I can’t recommend Sam enough, she is brilliant with our Labrador Loki. Sam walks Loki around 3 times a week, she has always been so flexible and accommodating. Her caring and patient nature is what makes her so great at her job! Loki loves his walks and we always feel so reassured and relaxed when Sam is looking after him.

Sam is a fantastic and dedicated person, she looks after our 2 cats 1 dog and a tank full of tropical fish, she has been doing so for many years and is always brilliant. She is trustworthy and could not recommend her enough. I advise anyone with pets to make sure you use Sam!!!!!

Sam is a life saver. We have a very special anxious boy who needs someone very understanding to live with while we aren't here. After 4 years without a holiday we can finally relax and enjoy ourselves knowing our boy is in good hands. Sam is Reggies best mate and fave snuggle buddy.

Excellent service. Great people who clearly love dogs. Cody, our Mini Schnauzer has stayed a few times now and absolutely loves it. He gets a holiday and a chance to play in open fields with other dogs. Would highly recommend - worth every penny to know your dog is well looked after whilst you are away.
