Megan was an exceptional sitter, from start to finish. Not only was she super organized and thoughtful to ask questions in preparation for the sit, but she really came through for me in my time of need. In the middle of sitting, Sophie got an eye infection and needed vet attention. I wasn’t able to communicate when it happened so she took the initiative to bring her to my local vet to seek care. It was something that has set her apart from all other sitters, and I can’t thank her enough for her attention and care for my pup. Sophie and I are forever greatful
We had a great stay at Melanie's place. Melanie herself is very friendly, laid-back, and generous. We met over FaceTime and her positivity shined through on the call. Silk and Spirit are 2 of the most beautiful animals we have ever seen. Silk the cat was shy but very friendly. Spirit was very friendly and easy to take care of. He loves to play, run around, and just be with the people. He has an electric fence and a doggie door so he could come and go as he pleased. Easy peasy! For this sit we brought with our son and we LOVED hanging out on the property. The pool, 4 acre yard, sound system, hot tub, and movie screen were all hits with us. It made for a lovely weekend away! Our stay at Miguel and Fabiana’s home was an 11/10!! Kalimera was a delight to take care of. She is the “chattiest” cat we have ever experienced - always meowing and entertaining us! The apartment is gorgeous and the kitchen is a delight to cook in. Miguel and Fabiana even had us over for dinner the night before they left so we could meet Kalimera and learn about where everything was in the house. The location was fantastic with lots of good bakeries and the Tenkaterstaat market near by. All and all it was a fabulous cat sit and we would love to come back and take care of Kalimera again
I had a really great time dog and house sitting for Tania and Andy in South Coulsdon, and would highly recommend anyone to sit for them. Lottie and Archie are incredibly cute and loyal border terriers. Archie loves a good cuddle and to play around. I am not a morning person but Archie’s positivity and energy in the morning was really heart warming. Lottie is quite relaxed and she likes her sleep. Both dogs get quite excited when they are outside, especially in the evenings. Lottie usually finishes her business quickly and prefers to go back home - she is more the mother of the house. Archie is more of an adventurer and always likes to check out his environment. In general, both are very well behaved and easy to look after - both tell you when they need to do their business. Both dogs love human interaction and are always excited to meet new people. Tania and Andy picked me up from the station the night before their holiday which gave me the chance to get to know them better. Both gave me clear instructions about the house, the dogs and the area. It was all very straightforward and extremely helpful. South Coulsdon is a lovely and quiet area where I enjoyed some relaxing time away from busy London. Tania and Andy have an office where I was able to work (together with the dogs). Tania and Andy offered bikes to me but I usually walked around the area as everything was easily accessible on foot. Their home is really beautiful and I felt at home right away. Thank you for having me and I would certainly do it again in the future.
Peggy is an absolute super star. Equal parts auteur, diva, genius, visionary, guru, innovator, and hound! You will fall in love and not want to leave. Ryan and Alice are both really lovely and easy to communicate with. Their home is cosy and comfy, the perfect place for pooch cuddles. I've had a wonderful stay!! Hopefully see you again soon Peggy =) xx
We loved staying at Erin's house! We absolutely fell in love with Nahvi and Bat Dog, both dogs and the chickens were easy to care for and the house has plenty of amenities and is in a great location. Erin was great to communicate with and we'd definitely stay at her place again, and recommend it to anyone interested in the future.
I looked after Mietze for the weekend. She is the sweetest little cat who is very easy to be with. The cuetest thing is she sits on her scratching board and looks expectantly to you the sitter to get her treat. Playing with her was fun and she loves to get brushed. After a short while she even visited me in the bedroom.. i have to say you will enjoy her company very much. Sherry left detailed instructions (not complicated to follow) and the daily feedback with pictures were appreciated by Sherry. The place is located in nature and very quiet but not far from the main road. Even a young buck visited the place. If you think of looking after Mietze I will say you will enjoy her very much Thanks Sherry for trusting me with Mietze
