We have a really lovely time in Eastbourne, Heidi and David are super friendly and really welcoming into their lovely home. The cats, Star and Tilly are easy to care for, and the hens provided us with more eggs than we could eat! The house is really clean and tidy, with everything you could possibly require. The location is also fabulous being a really short distance from Eastbourne beach. We would come back again, thank you Heidi and David
This was a a more involved pet-sit!! I have never cared for French bulldogs before and there were three!!! They are feisty and total energy balls!! So you have to understand their temperament before excepting this sit There was also a German shepherd who was a sweetie to be around The home was spacious and surroundings very pretty Steffani and Michael were very kind and I appreciated Steffani going to the grocery store to purchase groceries before they left
We had a lovely time looking after Tilly and Flo. They are so sweet and a joy to be around. Flo loves lots of cuddles and games and Tilly is happy to be curled up in a warm spot or on a cushion next to you. They are both very well behaved dogs, we had no issues talking them on local walks. Penshurst is a quaint little village, we really enjoyed walking around Penshurst place in the countryside. It was lovely meeting Janet and Charles, they were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this house-sit, you will have a fabulous time! Location, Takkie, comfort, Takkie, great owners, and did I mention Takkie? He was following me around, asking for rubs and talking to me in no time! Just a sweetheart. The pet parents are both lovely people and left great instructions. It was truly a pleasure to deal with them both. Highly, highly, highly recommend❣️
House sitting for Sarah was one of the best experiences Dan and I have had together. Sarah was extremely accommodating and welcoming from the moment we started planning our trip until the day we left. She left detailed instructions for taking care of the fur babies and ensured we felt comfortable before leaving on her trip (we knew where everything was, how to access everything, had time to settle in and get to know the animals, etc.). She also made herself available for any questions or concerns that came up during our stay. For people who are nervous about Pitbull's, don't be! Blue and Bodi are amazing dogs. They both love back scratches, are well trained, and will spend as much time around you as possible. Frodo is the sweetest cat, he'll give you kisses and talk to you all afternoon. Both Dan and I feel extremely lucky to have gotten to know Sarah, Blue, Bodi, and Frodo. We're hopeful to house sit for them again soon!
