Dog Sitters in Great Salkeld

Sue & Ian were fantastic carers for our beloved spaniels and home. They arrived when they said they would with great communication beforehand and Koki & Sunshine loved them. Our house was absolutely immaculate when we arrived back and the dogs were sad to see them leave. They made a real impression. Highly recommended and we would be delighted to welcome them back any time.

Louise is a kind, caring, thoughtful and conscientious person and we felt really lucky to have her pet and house sit for us. She gave us regular updates on how the animals were getting on, and made sure that our anxious elderly dog felt re-assured by her presence. Louise came with her own bedding, towels and even tea towels which meant the house was just as we left it when we returned with the addition of a bowl of fresh fruit from her garden! Thank you so much for looking after everyone so well 😊

If you are lucky enough to have Paolo and Sarah looking after your dog and staying in your house you will be very happy! This is the second time they have stayed and our nervous dachshund loves them more than ever. Thank you for allowing us a worry free holiday!

Karen and Steve were so well organised and took impeccable care of our pets, house and garden. We are delighted that they managed to see some of our beautiful countryside on their bikes, and thank you so much for preparing a very welcome supper when we returned late from the airport.

Catherine and Marie really hit it off as she was caring and attentive. Marie is fairly independent and Catherine was great at giving her space as well as pampering her with brushing and treats. Catherine did a fab job and I would highly recommend her!

An excellent sit by Helen and Stuart - we highly recommend them. Prior to the sit, Helen’s communication was brilliant and very reassuring. On the day, they arrived well ahead of schedule and ensured that we felt at ease. They asked a lot of questions to ensure that they understood Chester and his needs, making sure that they could provide the best care for him. Whilst we were away, Helen provided regular updates - both messages and pictures - which was lovely. Upon returning, the house was spotless. We cannot recommend Helen and Stuart enough. Thank you so much guys!

Neil and Melissa were a joy to deal with. They had a very no-fuss, get-on-with-it attitude and we were confident from the start that Jeff and Nige , and the house, were in great hands. We returned to happy dogs and a clean and tidy house, allowing us to simply settle back in and get on with the laundry! Many thanks guys and we hope to see you again soon.

Hey Anita, Just wanted to drop you a big shoutout and a massive thank you for taking care of Izzy over the weekend. You and your son did an awesome job, and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Your vibes were super chill, and it was obvious from the get-go that you know your way around taking care of furballs. I loved how you took the time to chat about Izzy's quirks and preferences – made me feel like she was in good hands. And can we talk about your reliability? Spot on! Knowing I didn't have to stress about Izzy's schedule let me enjoy my weekend without a worry in the world. The updates and pics you sent were the highlight of my day. It's clear – you genuinely cared about Izzy's well-being. It meant a lot, seriously. Thanks again for being flexible with Izzy's needs. Your easygoing nature and willingness to roll with her quirks made a world of difference. All in all, you guys get a solid 5 stars from us. You're the best!

A really lovely family who looked after all our four legged friends perfectly. We came home to waggy tails, an extremely tidy house, clean sheets on our bed and a farm that definitely looked more tidy that we left it. Nelius even managed to fix our tractor and top our fields for us. We’d have no hesitation recommending them.

When Holly arrived she was soon sat on the floor, interacting with the dogs. I had peace of mind knowing she would be looking after them. Unfortunately Holly unexpectedly left the sit early for medical reasons and it was such a shame as we really wanted to thank her personally for sitting for us. Communication was excellent before, during and after. Hopefully you’ll be fighting fit soon Holly!

Emily was fantastic, our house was immaculate when we returned home but more importantly we knew the animals were being well cared for whilst we were away, which meant we could relax and enjoy our break. Emily kept us regularly updated with pictures showing the dogs on their favourite walks and the cats cuddling up to her. I would definitely recommend Emily as a zeewoi.

There aren’t enough adjectives to describe how wonderful Rosie and John are. They truly cared for our home and pup and we are so grateful. We hope to continue our friendship.
