5 stars for this house sit. Ally and Jerome's home is in a safe, pedestrian friendly neighborhood of College Park. It's an awesome location for exploring Orlando and the surrounding areas. The pets, Gatsby and Daisy are highly entertaining, adorable and easy going dogs that we were sad when it was time to say our goodbyes. Lastly, our hosts, who so kindly welcomed us into their home, were always easily accessible for questions. Ally also left detailed information about the pets and their house to ensure a smooth transition. Thank you Ally and Jerome, we loved our stay at your home, with Daisy and Gatsby!
Celia was a very considerate hostess. Between the time that I was accepted for the sit and the start of the sit, Akira was diagnosed with feline diabetes. Celia was forthcoming and honest about how much this would change the responsibilities within the sit. I’m so glad that I agreed to go ahead as planned. There were some medication changes that were needed, but Akira’s vet is nearby, and was like a visit to Dr Doolittle’s office. The pharmacist was able to help fill the prescribed medication within a few hours. Celia was helpful in brainstorming as well as making recommendations so to help me to help her cat with her new foods and medicines. Akira warmed up gradually and really enjoyed playtime. When she’s happy, you’ll know, because she is very chatty. Celia was very communicative and kind. I enjoyed exchanges with her through daily texts. The sunny apartment is in an interesting and culturally diverse area of Berlin. I truly enjoyed the experience, and I feel like I learned a great deal as well. Thank you Celia! The housesit with Masha and Mitch was great. I met with Mitch a week before the housesit and he told me everything I needed to know about Sinbad, the house and the garden. Mitch explained everything to me in detail. He was also very easy to contact via WhatsApp during the housesit and answered all my questions. Sindbad is a very open-minded, chatty cat and shows you what he wants and what he doesn't want. He loved to be stroked in the evening and slept in my bed almost every night. But he can also sleep on the sofa in the house if you don't want him to. The location of the house is wonderful. You can be in ten minutes in nature on the Merri Creek Trail and the railway station or a tram station is only five minutes away. Conclusion: I would do the housesit again at any time.
We had a great time at Reilly’s house! To begin with she is a great host, and every communication with her was a breeze. The cats were all sweethearts, even though Siggy was the one who stole our heart right from the beginning! The house is very clean, and beautifully decorated. It’s located near the beach, grocery stores and anything you need. It was a great sit, with beautiful pets! Thank you for the opportunity!!
A lovely Christmas week with Betty the sociable spaniel and Doug the curious tabby. Jess very kindly had Christmas lights and tree all ready. It was sooo cosy and homely. And a present of a fridge full of Todd's artisan cheese.
