It was such an amazing experience staying in the lovely place and spending quality time with Roo and Theo! Marie was very kind and super helpful, providing all the things that we needed, as well as very clear instructions for us to take care of them. We really appreciate the stay and the great experiences with lovely dogs:)
Mr. Darcy, what can I say. The most friendly cat I’ve ever met, Mr. Darcy is kind of like a dog, without the extra work. He just loves being around people, but not in an overly demanding way. The feeling was mutual. Rebecca’s home was lovely, comfortable, and in our favourite neighborhood in Vancouver. We would highly recommend this sit- 5 stars!
Our time spent at Suzi & Tony's beautiful abode, looking after their two beloved dogs was nothing short of wonderful. We arrived the night before and got the lay of the land while sharing many a laugh over dinner together, it was a joy to meet two very creative and welcoming souls. Saffi and Gus were both quirky and cuddly love bugs to care for during our stay, with most nights spent fireside and each morning brought a new adventure walking through the surrounding wombat state forest. Super grateful for this experience 🌲💚
It was a pleasure sitting for little Monkey/Princess. She was a treasure to look after and the converted church was a lovely country setting to spend an extra long weekend. I had dealings with both Sam and Dave and they are both lovely easygoing people who made sure my I felt comfortable and welcome. The home is slightly closer to Casino than Lismore and there are a few things to do in the area if you have the time and the inclination. I took a drive out to Ballina one day, and explored a little, I spotted some koalas in a group of gum trees that Sam told me about, but I was so happy sitting on the back veranda reading one of the many books on the shelf with Monkey nearby that I didn't get out that much. Although, the day I went to Ballina, it was dark by the time I got home, and if you are not comfortable driving in the dark, you might want to avoid driving at night because the roads around where the Church is have no lighting. I'd love the chance to sit again if our timing works out. Thanks Sam and Dave, give my love to Monkey. :)
Madison was a breeze! She was a total sweetheart. Both her space + pup, Mr. Wilbur, my favorite guy of all time, was the highlight of my sits + I really enjoyed the time we spent together. Our initial call felt an eaze to it, an understanding + Madison was easy to accommodate + adjust to + as I had questions or things come up she really was very accommodating. As sitters we usually don’t come with many req’s but this time I had an arm inquiry + she gave me some tips to use with Wilbur that would help or places to go that would prevent pulls or leashes that would be best + it helped a LOT. Thank you Madison! Wilbur is the BEST pup. He is silly + playful + we’d played oh so much, in the bed, with his toys, cuddled up, wrestling on beds, on walks, hallway peekaboos + he will follow you everywhere + stay close, esp. In the bathroom + even while in the bath. It was OH SO hard to leave him. I ADORED him so much! He has got to be my favorite boy! I love his adoring face! He has a lot of energy but also loves just being by you + of will bring you his toy + is the smartest boy. He understands commands really well. I kept him close to my side as he seemed to be the best free solo + he is great on leash! Madison’s space is stunning + is full of beautiful design. She has plants everywhere + I helped water them, it was sooo therapeutic. Easy peasy! What she didn’t know was that that activity was such a treat as my mom had recently passed + as a master gardener + one who watched her tend to her garden for decades, help to tend to the garden of Madison’s space helped me to remember my mom + was oh so healing. I really loved every ounce of my stay. Thank you Madison + Wilbur. I hope there are either stays in our future. :)
