Wonderful sit in a beautiful location! Jeanne has a big heart and was most kind, generous and flexible. She had me come the day before and showed me first hand what needed to be done and then shared a yummy salad she made with me. I stayed in an apartment connected to the house and it was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated and most comfortable. The yard has automated sprinklers and there are two hoses for the gardens. Watering was easy and straight forward. KTD is the sweetest dog always ready for a cuddle. He doesn't go for walks or car rides, and is happy hanging out in the yard and home. Siam and Basil spent the days outside and went inside for the evening. There are many wonderful things to do in the area. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful week in Hampton, it was great to meet Sally and Brian first and swap travel tales before they went on their latest adventure! Our hosts who stayed behind were Tallulah and Lulu, two wonderful kitties, both of them full of character and great company. They were a pleasure to look after and we miss them already. The house is lovely and homely and garden is just stunning, and the location of the property is great too, walking distance to the local shops and to Bushy Park and just a bit further you have Hampton Court and Kingston on Thames - a great area to explore! 100% would recommend this sit to anyone, and hopefully we'll be able to come back ourselves at some point :)
Brenda’s home is wonderful, and both dogs and their cat were very sweet. It took some time for Sage and Magic to warm up to us, but then we got a few very long petting sessions with each of them, which is exactly why we signed up to this site! Smokey fell in love with my husband right away, and was always around the corner ready for a head scratch (unless she was outside hunting, which was often lol). Overall, a wonderful place to stay. Thanks Brenda!
Lynne and Rob made me very welcome, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The homemade bread and fresh milk from the local dairy was particularly thoughtful. Great communication and all the instructions I needed. Holly and Ivy are shy initially, so I allowed them some space, but after only one day they were accepting of strokes and sharing the sunny spots on the sofa. They have great routine, know exactly when to come and eat and had healthy appetites. The house is lovely, comfortable and clean; the garden rooms are particularly lovely with the wild birds and neighbouring forest. I enjoyed some fantastic walks in the Wyre forest and down by the river in Bewdley. The Severn Valley railway istarts nearby but opted for more local walks. A great sit, I thoroughly recommend.
An unforgettable house/pet sit, for a beautiful family. I got to know Anne better, over a shared meal on my arrival day. She's kind, compassionate, with a side of wicked humor. It was my pleasure to keep her up-to-date with Awesome Augie and his shenanigans! An energetic, playful, sweet dog, with a side of stubborn. He's very friendly and recognizes words like, "cute, gorgeous, etc." and expects treats, petting, etc. for the pleasure of speaking about him:)! Small dog with a huge personality. The home is amazing, and within walking distance to Pacific ocean beaches and trails. Congratulations if you land this house/pet sit!
Sean and Darcy have a lovely, cozy home on a hill. They have many seating areas inside and out and I used their office to work while I stayed with Ero and Cassie. Ero is a sweet guy and we spent our evenings cuddling on the couch. He loves to go for walks. He is a very strong guy. Even though I'd sat his particular breed several times he was stronger than me when he got excited by another human or animal. If you can handle a large breed easily he is worth the visit. Absolutely empathic and so smart. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are so welcoming. I was blessed to be invited to Thanksgiving up the hill with Trish and Mark and their friends and Trish even took me to the beach one day. I'm not sure any of my stays can compare to my introduction to California!
