Sadly our sit with Nick and Annie never took place due to Corona virus restrictions. We do however hope to sit with them when they next plan a break. Communication with Nick throughout was great and I look forward to having a plan in place when we can all travel again.
Susan and Jim were so kind and welcoming to us. They have a beautiful, comfortable home in a great neighborhood. We loved taking care of Tank during the housesit. He is the sweetest dog! He enjoys walks, playing fetch, and cuddles. We highly recommend this housesit and would love to help out again in the future.
Lindsay and Zach are a great couple with a rich inner world! We had a wonderful stay with clear instructions on how to feed and take care of Juno, Beeker and Pasha! We enjoyed working from their home! Neighborhood is nice, there is a new modern plaza with a movie theater, coffee shop, book store and grocery stores about 5 minutes driving nearby. The Internet was fast and Juno was always with us either next to a work desk or on a couch while we were reading books. Beeker and Pasha are beautiful and good behaved cats (Juno is beautiful too). Highly recommend all of them :) Thanks!
I watched Alan and Anne's two kitties (Teddy and Tilly) for five days in Bonita, CA. I ended up being a solo traveler since my partner couldn't come. Alan and Anne were both kind people who were so personable and generous. They repeatedly said that they hoped I would enjoy myself in their home. They also invited me to eat their food, including fresh fruits and veggies from their garden. For the initial interview/phone call, they had informed me that their cat Teddy has special needs so he needs medication twice a day and there would be some poop clean up required because he has no colon and does not use the litter box. The medication was pretty easy to administer because he is used to it. The poop messes ended up being a lot more frequent and messy than I expected. I was cleaning up poop spots around the house multiple times a day. Obviously, Teddy cannot help it, but do be aware that there is some involved cleaning required for this sit. Tilly uses the litter box, so all that was involved with her was cleaning the liter box every other day. Both cats are very sweet. Tilly warmed up to me immediately and Teddy was comfortable with me within a day. Their pool is a comfortable temperature and very clean. They have a beautiful yard, and it was nice swimming and lounging in the poolside chairs. They are also in a nice safe neighborhood and close by to nature, trails, and good food.
What a great 1st house sit for us. The house was in a fantastic spot and Kevin was very easy to communicate with and left detailed esay to follow instructions which made it a very relaxing stay. Ava was a delight and easy with her rountines. We were lucky to find this as our first sit and will certainly miss the sunsets and walks along the sea front. Thanks Kevin :)
Merlin is such a playful loving puppy- recommend this sit. A group of neighbors all meet around 7am in the local park to let their dogs play and there’s two other puppies Merlin’s age, so it’s a great opportunity to get his energy out and meet some neighbors. Tim and Molly were cuddly as well. Nancy and Patrick are great- super hospitable and good folks. Boulder is a great city as their a 10 min bike ride from hiking or Pearl st (the main downtown strip)
