This was probably our best house sit yet. Elizabeth's place is beautifully set in the Shropshire hills with a wonderful view of the full stretch of the Long Mynd from the windows. We found wonderful walks on all three days we were there and the house is a lovely peaceful place to relax in. It was impeccably clean and beautifully presented. Elizabeth was very welcoming and had done all she possibly could to make sure we enjoyed our time here. Hoskins is very easy to care for, simply needing his feed out regularly, and otherwise thoroughly aloof until he gets to know you. What more can we say? We do not normally repeat sits but would happily go back here for another stay.
This was a wonderful sit all around! The entire family made me feel very comfortable from the very beginning; they were very warm and welcoming. The house is truly very charming and relaxing and I really enjoyed the outside oasis; I only left a couple times to visit the beautiful downtown area, which is only minutes away. The kitties were really easy to care for; five may sound like a lot, but they're all well behaved and sweet and half the time were outside ha! I would absolutely love to sit for them again!

Andreia and Vicky are a wonderful pair to sit for! Andreia spent a few hours with me before departing for a month long trip to Portugal. She picked me up from the train station, introduced me to Vicky, showed me everything I needed to know about the apartment, and even helped me figure out the monthly train ticket I’d need! =) Vicky is a total sweetheart but hates to walk! If I picked her up and carried her to the corner of the apartment building though, then we could walk =) she’s super playful and cuddly, I had a hard time saying goodbye to her when I left! If you have an opportunity to sit for Andreia and Vicky, I absolutely recommend it! Communication was excellent and Lillestrøm was a lovely place to be just a quick train ride from Oslo. I hope Andreia and I will stay in touch into the future =)
Loved sitting with Gracie and Reef. Such good dogs. Reef is a talker. If he wants you to do or get something, he is going to tell you about it. But not by barking. He has this talking skill I cannot explain and he "told" us when he was ready for his walk. Gracie has it too, but not like Reef. Both dogs are big loves. They love to be petted and be right beside you on the couch while watching movies. Cat and Jef were exceptional hosts. Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Instructions were clear and if I had any questions I could reach out by message and quickly got a reply We felt very welcome in their home and very much enjoyed the back deck with the pups. Would definitely sit with Gracie and Reef again.
Manuela and Urs were incredibly gracious and laid-back. They graciously accommodated my early arrival and greeted me at the station. Communication was delightful and effective. The house is charming, with convenient access to hiking spots. (Thanks for the hiking tips, by the way!) Taking care of Momo was a fascinating experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone! Angel and her husband are such good people. They love and care for the dogs in their care. Whenever I go away I feel safe leaving my Lulu in her care. Lulu is shy but she always have fun at Angel’s , sometimes she doesn’t want to come home.🤣. Lots of fun and treats. I am grateful that there still Angel and her husband out there. I am grateful. Honestly wish I could give this more than 5 stars. We've used Angel's services a couple times now and couldn't be happier with the results. She treats every dog with so much care and love as if they were her own. Going on vacation is always tough when we can't bring Remi but it's a comforting feeling knowing she's also getting an amazing vacation experience with Angel. We would be getting regular updates via their Instagram page with posts showing all the activities they are doing and how much Remi is enjoying her stay. Highly Recommended!
Angel and her partner have been sitting my dog for over a year and I cannot recommend them enough!! Angel really cares for the dogs she sits, and is excellent with communication. We receive constant updates. Our dog is a puller on leash, but Angel handles him well, and he is better at walking when I pick him up. They take the dogs out multiple times a day, and there are no shortage of new treats for our pup to enjoy! Thank you Angel! :)
My dog Honey did boarding for 8 days. They treated her like a princess. I have a hard time trusting people with her and they went above and beyond. She got treats, training, hikes, walks, massages, and even a bath and trim. They posted videos and pictures everyday on their instagram too. I'm so happy I found them and will definitely be bringing her back for daycare days as well. Thank you for giving Honey so much love and care!
We LOVE Little Angel's Dogs! Angel and her husband take very good care of our dog. We have a Shiba who can be stubborn and doesn't like stranger to touch him but he's well adapted in the daycare. This is his very first day care experience at the age of 3 and he LOVES it. Angel didn't only take care of him but also clean his teeth (which is impossible for us to do), suggested a better diet (now my dog's stool is all healthy), trained him on going off leash. The most important is the constant updates with photos, videos and messages. My dog loves going there with the opportunity to play with other dogs and young kids. He basically ran to Angel when we dropped him off. I would recommend any dog owners to go there!
Angel and her husband takes GREAT care of Shabu when we were away. We see pictures of Shabu playing with all the other dogs—so thankful for the opportunity to learn to socialize. Angel gives them fun treats and takes them out to let off all the pent up energy. She even gave us great feedback on how he plays in the group.
After sending my baby boy to another daycare for 2 years I decided to try little angels dogs and when I say I feel BLESSED I mean it by heart. I had a mild fear of trying new daycare as my dog is very small & gets very nervous and timid around new people/bigger dogs. By day 3 of going to angel , he dragged me all the way to the front door of the place & didn’t even look back at me once when she came to get my dog (ouch?😂) She is amazing and very knowledgeable about dogs and takes good care of all the dogs. I’m relieved to go to work knowing that my dog is getting love&care and love that she sends photo updates throughout the day for extra peace of mind.
I write this review almost holding back tears of joy and gratitude. The circumstances leading up to me using Angel and her husband for boarding was anything less than a miracle. Angel is like the dog whisperer. I was fearful to hand over my mom’s dog to her as he has been a fearful little guy since day 1. He has recently gone blind and had basically lost his zeal for life. He would only sleep and was very depressed due to his blindness . Angel brought life back into his him. I was amazed at all the videos and pictures she sent me with kimchi (the dog) running and jumping and thriving with a OTHER DOGS (this never happened before) and going on off leash walks and just being happy and joyful again. She bathed him- examined his teeth - recommended a new feeding scheduled and new types of foods /treats and even let him sleep with her so he could feel safe in the night . Honestly this boarding place is none like I’ve ever seen- Angel is MEANT to do this. Age does it for the heart and genuinely LOVES dogs. Her and her husband work with animal rescue agencies as well and they are just overall kind and those types of people you don’t find much of in this topsy turvy world. Don’t hesitate to use their services your fur baby will be in THE BEST hands ever. If you can check out her instagram page of all the adventure the dogs go on - and all the treats and food they get not to mention just how happy and safe all the dogs look. I will be using Angels services again and again in the future:)
Angel has known Pumbaa since I adopted him last year and has been part of his growing process. Both Angel and Marko are our go-to people when we are busy and need someone we trust to take care of Pumbaa. We use them for both daycare and boarding services. They take care of all the dogs as their own, and often gives updates regarding any changes they may observe. They also pay attention to any extra care Pumbaa may need and provides suggestions and help (for example, when Pumbaa had sore paws, she even lent us some Wellies and a mud buster to help him). All the dogs who enter their house are well loved, well fed, well walked and well looked after 💕
Angel has taken care of our dogs, Mochi (our 4-year-old Maltipoo) and Milo (our 8-year-old Pomchi) many times, most recently from November 20–30 while we were on vacation. We can’t imagine trusting anyone else with them for a few reasons. First of all, Angel is so generous with treats-- she cares about giving them the best of the best, using only high-quality ingredients for their snacks (and the treats are free!). Mochi and Milo even get to sleep on her bed, which says a lot about how much she genuinely loves them. One of the biggest reasons we switched to Angel is because of how well she takes care of their health. Our old dog sitter wasn’t feeding them properly and making them exercise excessively, and Mochi actually lost 1 kilo which freaked us out. But with Angel, they’re always fed well, getting the right balance of food and exercise, and they’ve never lost weight while staying with her. They come back happy and healthy every single time. We really appreciate Angel bathing + brushing Milo twice during their past stay because he’s been shedding a lot. And not only does she spoil them, but she also helps us become better dog owners by teaching us tips on training them to behave better around strangers and in general. We really love the daily updates she sends us (photos and videos) on WhatsApp because it feels like we’re still connected to them even when we’re far away. It’s super comforting to know what they’re up to throughout the day. And when we pick them up, they smell amazing and are super clean. With our old sitter, we used to dread pick-up day because the dogs would come back filthy and messy—we’d have to bathe them and even get haircuts done immediately. But with Angel, they come back perfect. We can tell Angel really, really loves our dogs-- It’s such a relief and blessing having found her and knowing our dogs are in safe hands as we also love Mochi and Milo a lot. She has such a kind heart, and we’re so grateful for all the love and care she shows our babies. Thank you Angel!
My pup Willow LOVES going to Happy Tails! It is so fun to see how excited she is when we arrive for a day of fun. Fontaine and her team take such good care of the dogs and manage their play and interaction in a safe, supervised way. Willow has also boarded with Happy Tails and it is so nice to know she is well taken care of and snuggled when she stays there. Highly recommended for fun for the dog and peace of mind for their human. Thanks so much!!!
I am so glad the Happy Tails team is there! My puppy needs more exercise than I can give her during week and Fontaine and the team provide the perfect solution with their Daycare. They provide enough structure in the day to ensure the puppy energy has an outlet and also a place for some quiet time. They have been instrumental in helping her learn to calm herself when she needs it. She is a much better behaved thanks to the team at Happy Tails. On top of that, this is a local business I am proud to support. They always come through, and have a good tech to make bookings and payments simple. I am so thankful that our neighbor recommended Happy Tails.
Happy Tails is absolutely wonderful. They provide amazing enrichment games, outdoor play time, indoor nap time, and a whole bunch of other activities suited to your dog's personality and size. They prioritize the safety and well-being of all of their pups and are so great to work with. My dog has extreme separation anxiety and he runs into the daycare every time we drop him off. The staff at Happy Tails have been nothing but patient, loving and so generous in caring for my dog's special needs and valuing his uniqueness. It is a true testament to Fontaine and her team that my puppy adores them all. They are always professional, super responsive, and have an excellent electronic platform for scheduling that is incredibly easy to use. I cannot thank Happy Tails enough for taking such good care of our doggo!
I cant even begin to explain how grateful I am to the staff at Happy Tails, I feel so lucky to have found Fontaine and even though there was a wait to get into private walks it was so worth it. My dog Lu is a nervous rescue, I was bringing her to work daily and thought that doing walks twice a week might help her face the world and become a little more braver! I found happy tails and reached out to Fontaine about Lu. I anxiously listed everything about her, all her quirks and issues and expressed that Lu would be scared having someone new come into the apartment and Fontaine was incredibly helpful and understanding. We started with either my dad or sister being in the apartment when Fontaine arrived to take Lu for walks. They would help clip her leash on and begin the walk, gradually fading into the background during the walk, leaving the two of them to get acquainted. Over time Lu is just obsessed with Fontaine, if we run into her around North Van Lu can not contain herself. Witnessing how much Lu adores Fontaine means the world to me. Having a nervous and reactive dog can be challenging and a bit isolating. However seeing Lu grow and come out of her shell with the staff from Happy Tails is beyond what I ever imagined. Lu has been slowly introduced to other dog walkers Kenzee & Jessie and they both have formed a bond with her. I feel so comfortable leaving Lu in their hands. Getting Lus dog walk report is the highlight of my day, hearing how happy she is and that though she will never catch a bird or squirrel she still gives it her all everyday. Anyways worlds longest review, I could say so much more about how grateful I am to Fontaine, Kenzee & Jessie. 3 years ago, when I adopted Lu, I could never have imagined that she would be where she is today. My dog Luca recently joined the Happy Tails family. He is a young rescue with a few quirks and lots of goofy energy. He was immediately welcomed by Fontaine and her wonderful staff. I was reassured that they had no problem helping Luca learn how to socialize with his furry friends with guidance and positive reinforcement. I noticed how well he responded to their kindness and experience instantly. The staff truly care about each and every dog there. The staff are very knowledgeable and give such great advice that has been immensely beneficial to my dog. I love the reports shared at the end of his day, who he played with, what he did etc. I always look forward to their Instagram posts and pictures. Happy Tails provides a wonderful and safe environment inside and out with lots of fun activities. I highly recommend this daycare and am so happy my puppy is part of their family. 🐶💙
Happy Tails was a life saver when I got my new puppy. I wasn't pleased with any other local daycares, as they had way too many dogs and not enough attendants (basically lifeguarding). Happy Tails prioritizes puppy care (1 person for every few dogs) and listens to the owners needs and wants. Whiskey absolutely loves going here where he receives the best care, training, and so many snuggles. He quite literally comes home wagging a very happy tail. I highly recommend the Happy Tails team for all doggy needs (they do boarding too!).
Fontaine and her team are hands down the most knowledgable, kind, and caring canine professionals that I have ever encountered. Their attention to detail, effectiveness, and total organizational skills were not only very much appreciated but also a welcome relief. My dog is like my third child so I need to feel confident about his care and with Happy Tails I feel exactly that! THANK YOU!!

Can't say enough good things about Fontaine and the team at Happy Tails! We have a very anxious, but very social pup who needed a safe-feeling social outlet. Our (highly knowledgeable) trainer recommended Happy Tails and they were super accommodating to her needs, allowing us to build up her time there very slowly until she was comfortable. The dogs are put into appropriate play groups, supervised closely, have enforced rest time etc. so they go above and beyond to keep all the pups safe and happy. We don't even NEED doggy daycare as I work from home, but we use it weekly so our pup can get some extra play time.

We were amazed and delighted by the care and expertise from Juanita and her helpers at Puptown Girls. We got our rescue, Betty, just as Covid hit, and she was scared from her Texas experiences. The vet told us they were unable to trim her nails, even after we sedated her, so we were on our own. We developed a "system" where one of us held her down and the other trimmed, while she yelled her head off - a bit of a drama queen. Over time, the yelling subsided but, NOT a great experience for any of us. Then I put my back out, and we were worried that her nails were getting long. We explained the situation to Puptown Girls and they agreed to give it a try. We would not have been shocked if they hadn't been able to do it, but a few minutes later here comes Betty with the prettiest toes in Burnaby! Thank you Puptown Girls!!

Absolutely adored. I brought my Bernese Mountain dog Atlas in today and he looks gorgeous. He had been to other groomers before and even though they would take their time, he would still have plenty of hair coming off him after the session! Here at Puptown Girls they made him look like a show dog! He looks pristine and his coat is so much lighter (both weight and white colour)! I can tell he had a fun time and I definetly will be booking again ❤️. They put all their effort in and I will highly recommend!
My dog has never been to daycare and today was her first time visiting puptown girls. Not only did she have an incredible time and make lots of new friends, but she also had her nails trimmed, I got to take treats home for her, and she recieved a first day puppy report card! The girls did an incredible job meeting our needs. We will never take our dog to another daycare. You will not regret bringing your furry baby here, they will love her like their own. ♡
I would not reccomend bringing your dogs to this groomer. Be prepared to have to pay for your grooming and tip before even seeing your dogs. Our three yorkies were groomed by Kristy, and upon taking them home, we saw multiple areas of mis care. One of my boys had a bald patch on his head, and scratch marks all over his tummy and my other boy was bleeding from his anus area. I immediately contacted the groomers to voice my concern to which Kristy did reach out and apologized for the situation, at which point offered a free grooming for all three boys. I left the conversation thanking her for her attention but it would probably take some time for us to be comfortable to bring the boys back in. After some time, I finally reached out to give Kristy another try. I spoke to the receptionist who mentioned that she would speak to Kristy and confirm the covered grooming sessions for my boys, but I never heard back. I would highly reccomend avoiding this groomer is you're looking for good customer service or proper care to your dogs.
I took my dog here when I needed another option for her while I was at work. She was only there for a short time as sadly she passed away, but my impression is that this business is run by people that truly care about the dogs they look after. They took the time to do a gentle introduction to daycare with my dog (with me present which I liked), patiently answered my many questions and concerns, and from what I saw were very good with my dog. I also appreciated the countless photos and videos they post on instagram, relieved my anxiety about how my dog was doing and also very cute to see. I was pretty particular about who I left my dog with, and I liked this place/trusted them.
Our duo it love it. They are so excited to go to daycare whenever I mention daycare to them. They spend the day hanging out with their friends and napping. Andrea has an amazing team! They are aware of our breed and ensure they are not overly exerted and are mindful during the summer months that they cannot spend too much time in the sun. Im so grateful to have come across this daycare as my smaller one of the duo little is a bit of a handful.
Absolutely love Andrea and her staff!! My Corgi puppy LOSES her mind when I ask her if she wants to go to daycare and she’s always sooooo excited to see Andrea when we get there, not to mention she comes home exhausted and just sleeps all evening which makes for a nice quiet night for mom which is always a bonus. I also love that they upload so many photos to instagram every day and they’re of amazing quality! They’ve taken the best photos of my dog that I can’t even come close to getting. I highly recommend them and I’ve never seen any of the negative behaviour stated in the negative reviews. I wouldn’t trust anyone to care for my pup as much as I do the staff at Raise the Woof!
Our dog is obsessed with this place. I have to drop his leash as we approach or he’d pull me down, he’s so excited to get there. He’s met so many dog pals there, and the staff always get the “big woof” when they come to greet him. They’ve also recently extended their hours and are open until 10pm, which has done wonders for our social life. Also, no better photos have been taken of our pup than the photos on their Instagram. It’s so comforting to see ur boy throughout the day having the time of his life with his buds!
Been taking my pup Bones for almost a year to date and he has done daily daycare and boarding at times and loves the staff and other dogs in their care. Highly recommend.
Andrea and all her staff are great and all of them genuinely care about my dogs health and well being. My dogs come back relaxed, happy and tired. Its so nice to have a place to drop my dogs when life gets a bit overwhelming, and know that everyone is going to be happy.
This daycare is fantastic! I’ve been sending my pup here for around three years and we’ve used both the daycare and boarding services. Previous to Raise the Woof, Frankie hated all daycares and had to be carried inside. At Raise the Woof she runs in immediately and sometimes needs to be convinced to come home at the end of the day. We both love Andrea and all the staff and have been nothing but impressed since day 1.
We tested a bunch of doggy daycares, but Raise the Woof is the best! Such lovely people working there and our dogs so look forward to going to daycare a couple of times a week. We haven't used it yet, but they also have a super reasonably priced pick-up/drop-off service! Highly recommended! :)
I love taking my dog here! She’s always excited to be there, and clearly loves the staff. Plus she’s always exhausted at the end of the day, so she clearly gets a lot of exercise and stimulation. I am so happy to have found Raise The Woof, and feel super comfortable trusting them with my pup. <3

We love Adventure Den! The staff are incredible. They are so warm and friendly! I always know my dog is in great care. My dog goes there five days a week and has also done some overnights. I trust the folks at Adventure Den wholeheartedly! I recommend daycare and boarding to anyone in the city! For anyone with long working hours, they’re open early and close late, it’s great!
Harlow is a very high energy border collie puppy who started going to Adventure Den when she was maybe 5 months old. Their staff are extremely knowledgeable and kind. I had no idea that Harlow could potentially have anxiety when she was there as I took it as excitement. The lovely staff noticed her extreme energy and put a weighted vest on her which calmed her down! Showing that she was just a bit anxious. Great communication! We have a large, good natured, overly enthusiastic puppy. Canine Adventure Den has been a wonderful experience for him and us. We have placed him in the doggie day care often, and have left him there for several day stays when we went on holidays. They make sure he doesn’t get overly stimulated, but he has a chance to play with other dogs. He always seems happy to go and calm when he gets home.
This place is a saviour for someone dealing with chronic conditions! I was injured a month after getting my best friend and when my dog's energy gets too high for me to manage, a day of stimulation at the Adventure Den knocks her out for a couple of days. I love picking Takoda up after she is there, because she gets extra droopy skin on her neck as she struggles to stay awake, but most importantly because she is so happy! Everyone I have encountered there has been polite, caring, respectful, and loves my silly pup. It allows me the opportunity to take the time I need to care for myself, and for that I am truly grateful!
Our dog had a better experience than Rex Hotel. Thank you to the staff that creating a welcoming experience for Lj. We will most definitely bring Lj for a longer stay.
Highly recommend Adventure Den for your daycare and overnight dog sitting needs! Pick up and drop off couldn’t be easier and my dog always comes home exhausted after his full day of playing and socializing! The staff are friendly and seem great with the dogs. Bonus points for posting photos and videos of all the dogs on Instagram!
I recently boarded my 3years old recuse dog for the first time, and I was really worried about how he’d handle it due to his past bad experiences. I’m so happy I chose this service! The staff was very caring and always responded promptly to any questions I had about my dog. They made me feel at ease, and my dog seemed good in there. Much appreciated for their care & attention
When I arrived to fetch my fur buddy and he was reluctant to leave after a nine day stay, I knew that he had a great stay at Canine Adventure Den! He was well looked after and I was kept updated on his stay whenever I asked. Very professional and highly recommended! Today he was there for the day and he had another good time - after eating his dinner, he is snoozing, completely tuckered out!
We have been taking our Australian Shepherd dog to Adventure Den for about 2 years. We have put him in daycare and boarding countless times. He loves daycare and the employees there. When we receive him afterward he’s always happy and tired. We have talked to Colm, the assistant manager, a couple of times about our dog and he’s always been understanding and kind, helping us if we had any issues. We highly recommend Adventure Den to anyone! Thank you to everyone who works there for making Julio, our dog’s stay so fun!

We couldn't ask for a more wonderful dog walker than Party Paws! Sarah is so engaged and easy to coordinate with. She is thoughtful about how she groups the dogs together and genuinely cares about our dog (who loves her right back!). She also takes amazing (and hilarious) photos of the dogs in her care - always keeping you updated on how your pup is doing! We feel really lucky to have found Party Paws and would highly recommend their services to anyone in the area who is looking for a dog walker!

I love Sarah, she is amazing and my dog absolutely adores her. We met her when we were newbies to Vancouver and I’m so thankful that I found her. Our dog Scout LOVES Sarah! He is a nervous little guy who takes a while to warm up to people but he always gets excited when she's coming to visit and take him for a walk! Sarah is very responsive and always makes an effort to work with our schedules to make sure our dog is taken on walks when we're at work. We trust her completely in our home and with our dog when we aren't home. I would recommend her anyday and am so happy we have her help to care for our dog!
I just took our dog for her first appointment here and I'm so happy we found such a great groomer nearby! She came out looking sooo cute and Tobias was really good with her. She barks a lot but that didn't seem to phase him, he was very gentle and patient. He also gave advice on how to maintain her coat between grooms which was appreciated. Very happy I came upon this place during a walk :)
Liz and Tobias take wonderful care of our Mini Australian Shepherd named Jack who goes Monday-Friday and we feel have such a peace of mind knowing he will be well taken care of. They are so accommodating within our schedules and help out tremendously if we need emergency care for pick up/drop off. They constantly send updates to let us know how Jack is doing throughout the day. You can tell with all the other dogs how happy they are and all the dogs get along great. They have helped work on Jack’s socialization skills. Jack got his first grooming session with Liz a few weeks back and she did such an amazing job. They are so kind, helpful and give great feedback. I highly suggest using them for all your animals needs. We will never use anyone else. 💕 Thank you for all that you do and loving Jack as much as we do.
Took my longhaired cat here for a wash & brushout, sanitary & paw pad shave and it was great! The groomer Liz, was so kind and helpful. I was anxious as I have not left my cat somewhere else before, and she was very reassuring, explaining the process to me and helping me be more comfortable leaving her there. She even sent me a little video of her mid-groom, along with a text letting me know my cat was "the best bb". She finished the groom so quickly and it was incredibly well done. I brush my cat everyday, and she is now half the size from the professional brushing and blow-drying Liz did. My cat was also very comfortable and relaxed when I picked her up, which is unusual as she gets very shaky and anxious when put in the carrier and new environments, which shows me how wonderful the experience was for her too! Cannot recommend this place enough, will 100% be coming back in 3-4 months for another service :)
Avoid! I am a person who doesn't write a review but this is an extremely disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share, with the hope that it might prevent others from facing the same issues. I and my wife have a BCxAussie and he has a beautiful double coat hair which is not supposed to be shaved. We specially told them to cut short on BUTT and TAIL. However, they shaved entire body except tail. Furthermore, the grooming was poorly done, leaving my dog with uneven hair on neck. This lack of attention to detail and grooming skill has been deeply upsetting. When I saw my dog after the groomed, I was so shocked that I could now say anything. He saw our disappointing face and said "it will last longer". Seriously??? In addition to that, he told us to pick him up at 4pm and we had to wait 30 min outside. NO time management. I did not bother to argue nor say anything, and we just left. I will absolutely avoid this place.
I’m so glad I’ve come across this place. Tobias is amazing with my cavapoo pup, Milo. This is the first place I’ve taken Milo that he doesn’t want to leave when I go pick him up. I’ve used them for dog sitting a few nights and they’re very good at updating me with pics and videos, as well as keep me posted on how he’s sleeping and eating. Today was his first full grooming and it was perfect. Exactly as requested. Tobias is so patient with Milo and even has some recommendations for me on de matting Milos fur as he grows. Super helpful. Great cut. And they’re a really nice personable couple. Highly recommend.
Liz and Tobias are really great, highly recommend their services. We took our two year old rescue dog (black cocker spaniel mix) to their daycare and our dog normally is very anxious around new people. We were very pleasantly surprised when our dog quickly opened up to Liz and Tobias, then to the other fellow dogs in the daycare centre too. Our dog also developed positive habits playing with the fellow dogs and we feel like our dog has grown out of her nervous shell. We've been seeing Liz and Tobias for a few months now and we have complete peace of mind when we leave our dog with them. They always send photos and videos to update us on how our dog is doing, including if she had lunch or she pottied. Thank you Liz and Tobias!
First time taking our dog for grooming after two failed attempts at other pet-groom. She wouldn’t cooperate, even nail trimming was unsuccessful. We were so happy with the result. Tobias & Lis did a very good job with her. We are so happy and couldn’t stop smiling when we saw Luna. My children was so happy. Thank you so much guys! I have brought Heiro here to get groomed a few times and will continue bringing him here. Heiro got matted over the past few months and after getting shaved he feels great and so soft again. I love that the shampoo that they use too, it smells so good! They are so kind and always do an amazing job at achieving how I want Heiro’s cut to be done and also very gentle with him. If you live in the area, they are the perfect groomer's to bring your pet to! I’m so happy to have a spot to go that’s only few blocks away from me.
My 9 year old dog Ranger had a great time! He has anxiety and has some issues getting his nails clipped, but he was very happy when we picked him up. He smells great, and we’re definitely coming back ☺️
Tobias and Liz did an amazing job! They really took time to understand and listen and ensured that we were very happy with our dog’s grooming. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for dog grooming! They went above and beyond and I am really happy to have a local neighbourhood groomer that cares.
Samson is our 12 year old Australian Shepherd and we recently lost our other 12 year old Aussie so we wanted to try somewhere new to board him (we travel often) but at the same time were hesitant to use a commercial boarding facility where there would be a lot of different dogs everyday because of daycare and on the day we took Samson for his assessment there were quite a few dogs there. The staff at Jet Pet North Shore were friendly and welcoming, took time to ask questions and made us comfortable, they seem to care and want dogs with good demeanours. They introduced Samson to the pack and he spent time with one of the staff so they could assess him around the other dogs. We were given a tour of the facility which was very clean and well organized, each dog has a ‘cubby’ in the kitchen where they keep their food and belongings. We like the fact that they separate the dogs into 3 groups for play (small, medium, large) and there is a staff member with each group, there is an inside and an outside play space. They have a good schedule with group playtime in the mornings and afternoons and also have individual quiet time at lunch and in the evenings. Each dog has an individual sleeping room (many different sizes to choose from) and there is a picture of the dog along with info about them posted on their room door. When we picked Samson up from his assessment he was happy so we decided to board him for 4 nights. Samson is a sweet and gentle boy with a very good temperament, gets along with all dogs but at home he is a people loving ‘Velcro’ dog who loves to be petted, give kisses and be acknowledged. Jet Pet has a UTube channel and live camera for half an hour in the afternoons for each group, (you can also watch previous days) but we knew we wouldn’t be able to access it where we were going so we asked Anna (the manager) if they could send us photos while we were away. Anna was wonderful, she sent updates and photos (even a short video clip) and took time to do so even on her day off which we greatly appreciated! When we picked Samson up he was excited and happy to see us but didn’t seem like he was in a hurry to leave so we think he was treated well in our absence. Anna said she kept Samson in the front office with her his first morning so he had some ‘quiet time’ with a human to help him get used to being in a different setting and this demonstrated she really cares! They had taken the time to wash a t-shirt we had left with him as he had an accident the first night. Samson has been sleeping lots since his return (likely needs to catch up on his rest) but he is as calm as he usually is and we believe he was well taken care of! We will be boarding him again at Jet Pet North Shore and may even take him back for the odd daycare day. Thank you to all the staff (especially Anna) and Samson will see you again soon!
Original review (update at the end): Unprofessional and unreliable. To summarize, my Border collie, Freya's experience @jetpetresort_northshore didn't turn out well because they lock the dogs in at night with no one checking for hours, so she scratched their wall. They're charging me for 4 nights despite me going to pick her up after 1 night's stay, and they claim that the scratches are "at least $450 worth of damages" which is ridiculous... I offered to pay a certified handyman $30/hr to fix it (they replied no, they have own contractor). Yesterday & today their pet cams didn't even work so I said I wasn't impressed and wanted a refund for the remaining 3 nights due to their "Smile Smile Guarantee" refund policy, which they won't honour. Furthermore, they claimed I sent instagram messages saying I was satisfied with the service... I didn't even contact them through there. Needless to say, I'm never recommending Jet Pet again, and I'll be disputing the payment with my credit card provider. Update - Anna, the manager, did stay until closing to have a courteous chat with me to clear the air. Although I didn't receive a refund, she iterated that they asked me to pick up Freya for her best interest since she's not a good candidate for boarding due to anxiety, and this would be tough to troubleshoot. However Jet Pet Resort staff do think she's a good and sociable dog. They would like me to return for day care and offered me a free day in the future (instead of a refund) and are not charging me for the scratches in her room. Anna accepted my feedback to re-word their satisfaction guarantee policy and said their facilities had a night watch in the past, but they didn't have enough revenue to continue hiring and it made no difference to quality of care?. Jet Pet does monitor the guests via overhead cameras... but there's no employee on site from 7pm until 7am the next day. After the above discussion I changed my rating to an amicable 3 stars.
Our new black lab puppy has been going to Jet Pet for a couple months now, and I can’t imagine a happier, more caring and safe environment for her to socialize, grow, and learn. Every staff member that I’ve met seems committed to the well-being of each pet, right from entering their facility, to keeping our pets safe, engaged, and clean for pickup at the end of the day. Both our cat and pup stayed overnight for a week, and they both were perfectly well-cared for. Thanks very much for your professional care: Curtis, Jack, and all the rest of the staff - Ellie and Soxie will be happy customers for years to come! Best regards and see you tomorrow! This was the second time I have left Zena at jetpet. I was so happy with my experience. They were very kind and helpful considering my anxiety of leaving her. The staff are very comforting and helpful when dropping off and picking up. I got to see her play every day in the beautiful outdoor yard on the u tube videos and check on her at night. We’re so happy and relieved to have found JetPet! Our dog has long-standing fear reactivity issues with new people in our home, making at-home dog sitting impossible for us. The staff at JetPet have been incredibly understanding, patient, and accommodating with our dog’s anxiety and reactivity. We recently left her for a 5-night stay and loved being able to watch a portion of her day on the YouTube channel. We could see that she was comfortable hanging out with the small or medium dog group and around the yard staff. We also loved checking in on her through Instagram stories. We will be boarding her here for all of our future travels!
It seemed some body kept deleting my review!!! My dog Lemon had three days (November 8 to November 10 ,2023) boarding first time. We booked a grand room with camera, we could know what she was doing in her room. I found she looked bored and pleased Jet pet her some toys, they were nice and gave her. We went back home from trip yesterday.we picked her up in the afternoon on November 10,2023, we gave her a shower and found swollen parts under her arms, a long fresh red part around her neck. All the red swollen parts were under harness. I emailed Jet Pet hoping to know what happened immediately.Nobody answered me. I guessed that someone pulled her very hard and the harness scratched her skin too much and hurt her skin. My son cried when he saw the swollen skin.Today(November 11,2023),we brought Lemon to see her veterinary , the doctor gave her some medicine and cream.
Our two pups have had many great stays at Jet Pet. Both dogs are very excited when we drop them off (one is a Border Collie who would not go inside if she wasn’t happy ). Great staff and great facility.
Jet Pet was amazing for Pepper’s first daycare experience and sleep away from home. For a high energy breed I was a bit worried but the kind and caring staff put me at ease right away. She stayed five nights and I felt totally comfortable- the play cams and Instagram updates showed her having a great time! She was given naps as I requested and the staff followed my other care instructions as requested. They also gave her a bath before home time and washed her bed and blanket. She was happy to see me but didn’t want to leave! Happy smiles from her stay.
It was Lucky’s first time to be in a dog boarding place. Jack and the team have made a pleasant and welcoming experience to Lucky. Kate did a wonderful job in walking us through the process. Lucky was a happy boy when we picked him up after 3-days. Thank you everyone and Lucky will surely come back to see you all again.
JetPet is under new management and it is like a whole new facility! The exterior outdoor yard and the interior have been upgrade over the past months with no disruptions to care or service. Best of all my dog lives the staff and is so happy to arrive and be greeted by her human friends. When I pick her up she is happy and tired. The staff are faithful to take pictures throughout the day so you can get a ‘sense’ of the day. My pup is camera shy, a diva and photogenic…but they try! Thanks so much Kurtis and team! Jane S.
