We were delighted by our time at Carol and Wayne's place! This was a great sit, with a lovely, comfortable, quiet, and clean home full of whimsical art and plenty of places to sit and read in lovely surroundings. We didn't have any experience with fish, but feeding them was quite simple and we enjoyed watching them in the outdoor ponds. The cats were sweet and easy. Harri is a friendly and dignified lady who told us everything we needed to know. PeeWee is the sweetest fella, and I enjoyed reading on the front porch while he napped in my lap. We appreciate Carol and Wayne's friendly hospitality, clear instructions, and easy communication and hope to spent time in the future with Harri, PeeWee, and the fish!
We had a wonderful two week stay in Lake Bracciano taking care of the most loving and affectionate cats, Suki and Rostov. Joanna and Henry were excellent communicators from the beginning to the end. They always were very prompt with responses and their welcome guide regarding the house and the two cats were very detailed and easy to follow. They were very warm and welcoming. The home was cozy and very comfortable. We loved cooking meals in their fully equipped kitchen overlooking the pool with the observant Rostov watching you prepare and every time you sit down, Suki would jump at the opportunity to sit on your lap! We absolutely adored both cats and they loved to be cuddled, having ear scratches and just being talkative together. They are definitely one of our favorite pets! We worked remotely during our two week stay and the WiFi was great. No issues. It was wonderful to have the cats keeping us company. A car is necessary as you are outside of the area and easily can drive around to explore several villages dotted along the lake and the trains into Rome was reliable from the Bracciano station. We thought it was quicker to drive into the outskirts of Rome and just park there and from there, to walk around exploring the Eternal City. Easy peasy. We highly recommend the sit to anyone who may be interested and it is a heavenly oasis hanging out with the two darling cats! Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity and we hope our paths cross again soon.
Alana and Stephen kindly welcomed us in their home, they were wonderful hosts! Harley, their dog, is the most loving animal ever - she loves a butt scratch and will sit by your side on the couch to keep you company. Lola is such a beautiful cat, she is very chatty and curious and loves to be pat. Finally, Nig is a cute little grandpa, sleeping very calmly on the side of your pillow at night. Overall, we had a great time in Alana and Stephen’s house and enjoyed spending time with their lovely and kind pets!
Staying with Kika, Beni and Suki was wonderful, it has been super fun. Kika is shy at first but then she is very affectionate, Beni is super affectionate and always wants cuddles <3 and Suki is a dog cat, his way of communicating is the same as his dog brothers. It has been very entertaining and pleasant staying with them <3. Denise and Kris are very kind people, they even went to pick us up at the station <3. They are pleasant and close, quite clear with communication. The house is very cozy, the area has many places to visit on foot, it can be a place full of adventures. In the future we would be delighted to repeat. It has been a pleasure to meet you.
It was a short but perfect sit! Kiran and Tom are perfect hosts, I felt really trusted from the begining and the comunication was great. Luna and Marly are too sweetheatrs!!!
