Stephania was a great sitter. We came home to a clean house and happy dogs! She was communicative before and during the sit and from the pics she sent throughout her stay, I could tell the dogs were enjoying themselves. Biscuit can be a little bit of a troublemaker and stephania was attentive to her and offered to take her to the vet after she snuck a chapstick as a snack.

Alexa was lovely. Very enthusiastic and keen to get everything right for us. Messaged us all the time with updates. Our dog Bart really loved her and seemed happier to see Alexa than us on our return!! Would happily recommend.

A simple review seems trivial compared to how grateful we are for Kim and Jim! They took such wonderful care of our pets and our home. They were flexible, accommodating, and stayed in touch with us the perfect amount. Our poor dog had some stomach issues while we were away and they took such excellent care of him, and updated us regularly. We also came home to an immaculate apartment. We wouldn’t hesitate to have them back and wholeheartedly recommend Kim and Jim to anyone in need of fabulous pet care.

Charles & Nikki

Nikki and Charles were simply the best! They arrived a day early in order to meet us and Scout, pick up the keys, and get acquainted with our space. They were so open, understanding, and sweet, and as soon as we met them we knew we’d made a great choice. Both Charles and Nikki were extremely communicative and asked right away about how often we’d like updates, pictures, etc. They were so attentive to Scout’s routine, and even shared some tips on things like music to play for her to relax her. All the bedding, towels, etc. were washed and folded when we got back, and the next morning I noticed they’d cleaned our microwave out, too. I can’t recommend them highly enough, they’re truly awesome people.

Dani was an amazing sitter during this month long stay. Our senior dog Vader was not feeling well while we were away (vomiting/GI issues) and Dani made us feel like everything was under control in her care. She kept us posted on all of her detective work to find out what was going on with him, she coordinated with our vet for several at home visits and handled all medications impeccably. She adjusted and optimized his already complex food mixture depending on how his stomach was feeling. She was a great communicator through the whole thing and we really could not have asked for a better person to look after our dog. She went out of her way to ensure he was going to be okay, even waking up every 3hours in the middle of the freezing NYC night to walk him and send us updates (for several days in a row too). When we arrived home, Vader looked great and even celebrated our arrival with Dani by running around her - it was so cute! Dani also took amazing care of our appartement, she kept everything super clean and watered our plants while we were gone. She is seriously a ★ NEXT LEVEL SITTER ★, we could not recommend Dani enough!

Michelle was excellent as always. We received regular updates each day about Mochi. She was very easy to communicate with. She took Mochi for long walks everyday. Our place was in great condition when we returned - everything was clean and tidy and sheets had been washed. Michelle is very dependable and is a great housesitter!

This was a couple/family. That was absolutely delightful to work with. I would not only invite them back to my home to pet sit but also if they were in the area, I would welcome them to contact me if they needed a place to stay. They were kind, they were tidy, they were proactive and loving toward the dogs always thinking about what they could do, above and beyond. They took care of my home, as well as or better than I do myself and I never had any concerns. My dogs are very needy, they are loving, but very very wanting of attention and affection, and this family did not seem to mind at all and lavished them with everything that they could possibly want. I can't say enough good about this whole family, and I would highly recommend them, and definitely offer them the opportunity first again in the future any time they are in the area.

Ursula is a wonderful sitter! This was the second time that she has taken care of Puddle (my cat), and each time, she's taken great care of him. She's a communicative sitter who proactively sent updates on how Puddle was doing throughout the sit (including adorable pictures of him, which made my day when I was traveling!), and she was also very responsive if I ever reached out either leading up to or during the sit. From the pictures of Puddle that she sent, I could tell that Puddle was really comfortable with her, which made me really happy to see while I was away. In addition to the great care that she took of Puddle, the apartment was tidy upon my return. I highly recommend Ursula as a sitter. Thank you, Ursula!

MAGGIE

Maggie and Scott are two of the nicest, most considerate, people you will ever have the pleasure to meet.  I actually met them in person out walking, while doing a TH sit for one of their neighbors.  It turned out they were in the process of setting up their TH account!  After chatting over wine, I found out that I was available to stay with Farkley, their cat, for their first trip.  Not only did they leave nice touches such as coffee and fresh strawberries for me, they were a joy to communicate with.  They didn't hesitate to quickly respond to my text regarding a minor issue accessing one of their streaming services, which was speedily resolved.  They take obvious care of their beautifully decorated home and their "old man" Farkley.  Their house is located on a quiet dead end street that is within easy walking distance of walking trails through Whatcom Falls Park and close to anywhere you'd want to go in Bellingham.  Last but certainly not least,  Farkley and I got along wonderfully.  He really liked both sitting on my lap and sitting on the chairback above me while I was reading or watching tv.  He also loved our brushing sessions and I always enjoyed hearing him purr.   I highly recommend this sit.

This was my first sit with Trusted Housesitters and I was spoiled! We,
my dog Charlie and I, met Kaitlin and her precious boy Judah before the sit and we all just clicked. 

Judah was a dream. Very chill and easy going and so easy to take care of.

Charlie and I travel in a campervan so it was nice to have a place to stay for a bit over Christmas. The apartment was very clean and cute and so convenient to everything - a nice neighborhood park, walkway, grocery stores etc! And it had everything that I needed during my stay.  

Charlie and Judah got along great! We were sad to go. I’d love to sit again if I’m in the area.

We had an amazing experience house sitting for Eileen and Jeff! Their communication was excellent, making the whole process smooth and easy. The house was cozy, and the surrounding area was beautiful, with plenty of things to do nearby. Taking care of Francis, their lovely dog, and the chickens was a pleasure, and we felt at home during our entire stay. We would definitely come back and recommend this house sit to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway! Jeff and Eileen were even kind enough to mail us a few small items we left in their home.

This was our very first sit and Ann trusted us with her three babies. We has such a lovely on the coast of Wales looking after Maddie, Ruby and Taz. Although it was cold, they were not afraid to go swimming in the ocean. Each day we got to take them for a 1-2 hour walk along the beach at low tide. They are strong dogs, so the walk down to the beach can be challenging - but we managed alright. Saundersfoot is a cute little town with pubs and shops. There are also other towns nearby to visit whilst in the area. It was great to meet Ann and get a run down of what to do with the dogs! Would recommend this sit to others.

What an amazing experience, the location, accommodation and dogs were just as described and more. Chico and I had a great time and loved collecting eggs, fresh vegetables, swimming in the ocean and beautiful walks on the beach and chasing the dogs on the beach😊.  Would highly recommend this opportunity and hosts.

I actually had a little lump in my throat as this sweet kitty watched me leave on my last day! Nala has so much personality and is a great companion to have around. She loves to snuggle on the couch during movie times, chirp and chat throughout the day, and curl up in bed with me at night. She was never a bother. Her favourite activity of all is being brushed! I wonder if she would ever get bored of this. I don’t think so. Lol!
Pam was the perfect host. So generous and easy-going. Food, snacks, and even a gorgeous fire, ready to be lit in the fireplace! Her place is clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and a great quiet place to unwind and get computer work done. All with a super soft kitty-cat! I hope I get to come back again. Highly recommended!
