Jennifer and Richard are great communicators, even while on a cruise. This was our most adventurous sit to date. On night 1 Ian the hurricane hit Orlando with a vengeance, and we ended up with 6-8 inches of water in every room. We did what we could to save as many personal items as we could, and Jen and Rich worked on a place for all of us to go to. Harley and Toothless were troopers and stayed on high ground while we got stuff together for our journey though thigh high water. Harley swam while Toothless was in a cat carrier. We later came to find out Harley does not like to swim but, on this day, she swam a lot and looked very relaxed. While staying at their friends' house Harley and Toothless were great. Every day I would make my way back to the house and do what I could to save more items and work with the owners to help get insurance and contractors into the house for cleanup and repairs. We were able to get pods as soon as the water resided and started loading them up with the house furniture and clothes. Jen and Rich wanted to know if we wanted to leave because their friends would take care of Harley and Toothless. We let them know we could stay if they wanted our help with the house until they got back. They had a friend Cathy that was close who did Airbnb so we went there and continued helping with the house. Although we did not get to spend as much time as we would have liked to with Harley and Toothless, when we got to see her after 3 weeks, she was very happy to see us again. Even after all this we would highly recommend this sit. Harley and Toothless were the best and Jen and Richard were very easy to work with.
Mara and Coco are most well-mannered and affectionate babies 💕 and very easy to take care of. Great communication with Lainie and Will, they made me feel very comfortable. I already miss my furry ones.
My wife and I had the pleasure to house sit for Erik and his lovely dog Muze. It was an absolute pleasure. Muze is a superb, loving dog. We enjoyed walking her every day and going on car rides with her. Erik is a very kind and respectful home owner. I would highly recommend house sitting for him!
It was a pleasure to spend a weekend with Pancake, Pip & Jonny. Emma was very clear with all instructions prior to our sit & I appreciated her taking the time for a video call prior to our arrival. There were some lovely walks nearby & the house was warm & friendly. The nearby village of Henfield was great to explore. In fact, a weekend wasn't long enough!
