Angela and Denisse really saved us. We thought we had a housesitter and then received an email from the site saying that there was a problem with our original choice -- two days before we were supposed to go on vacation. We reposted, and happily Angela saw our listing, and we quickly set up a meeting with her and decided to take a chance with her and Denisse. It was a perfect match. We have three rescue animals, a dog and two cats. One of our cats is so fearful, he usually hides in the garage for most if not all of our trips. On day two, he made an appearance with them. We got lots of photos of happy, unstressed animals, which for us is the main reason why we want someone to house sit. She reached out regularly with updates, which was very much appreciated. Nothing was broken, which can happen with normal wear and tear, and also unprecedented. Everything was neat and orderly when we returned, and Angela even reached out when she hadn't heard from us because of traffic delaying us on our way home. I can't recommend them enough for being caring to our animals and considerate of our house. This was such a rushed reservation, but after meeting Angela I had a very good feeling and the photos confirmed they were kind to our animals and respectful. They were truly delightful to have stay, and I would highly recommend them both as housesitters.

Denise
One of our favorite sits yet! We spent a fun first day as Denise and her sister and friends introduced us to the town of Oberon and treated us to a fun meal in town. The next day Denise and Tim showed us around the house and paddocks and introduced us to the daily routine before heading out. The month we spent in Denise's house with the dogs--Radar and Emjay (Denise's border collies) and Fergus (Denise's sister's Irish Terrier)--the three sheep and the chooks just flew by. Getting to know the dogs' personalities--Radar The Energetic, always eager to chase "the ball", any ball; Sweet Emjay, Radar's gentle shadow and quietly affectionate sister; and Earnest Fergus, with his striking beard and moustache perfectly complementing his goofy antics--was such a pleasure and we miss them all so much already. The sheep and chooks were easy and the unobtrusive routine involved in caring for them added a nice "living on a hobby farm" feel to our experience.
Denise and Tim are wonderful folks, very welcoming, funny and eager to make our stay a pleasant one. Denise worried that we'd maybe get bored spending four weeks in Oberon but there is so much to do that when it was time to leave we felt we'd only scratched the surface. To name a few activities there is bicycling on the local trails, hiking, wineries, caves, fishing, golf at the wonderful Oberon Golf Club, exploring the historical local villages and towns and enjoying the local pubs (O'Connell, Rockley and Tarana among others).
Finally, the house is so comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the washer and dryer are very handy and the grounds are expansive and picturesque. We'll never forget our dinners in the yard with the dogs, watching and listening to the parrots and cockatoos flying overhead and sometimes descending into the chooks' pen to help themselves to the seed as the sun went down. Magical stuff!
So do we recommend Denise's pet sit? Yes, yes, enthusiastically, yes!

Jocelyn
Housesitting for Jocelyn has been my favourite housesit yet! I had the most amazing time sitting Ziggy and ZeeZee. They are beautiful and loving and so easy to care for. I didn’t want to leave them! Jocelyn wrote very clear instructions and had everything needed to make the sit easy and enjoyable.

Jocelyn’s house is incredibly well equipped with everything you need, it’s right across from a lovey park and tennis courts, and only a short walk from beautiful kitsilano beach! The location is 10/10 and the amenities are excellent.

I absolutely recommend housesitting here, you will have an amazing time!

Sally
Cara and Clark are very easy to care for and would greet me at the door after a fun day exploring the downtown Bellingham area. We spent many mornings together on the balcony looking out over the bay and enjoying the beautiful view. The condo is super cute, clean and organized and in the most ideal location.
Thank you Sally for being a warm and welcoming host - this THS experience was very positive and one I would love to be invited back to in the future.

I took care of Iago for two weeks and it was such a great and delightful experience. He is very well-behaved, friendly, sweet and he likes to play, especially out. I am going to miss him a lot !
Sam and Alexandra are very welcoming and organized : they sent me written detailed explanations by email on how to take care of Iago/the house with all the specifics needed. That really made my house sit easier and enjoyable.
The apartment is beautiful, quiete and clean : it really felt home and I had all I needed. The area is safe, very green and the train (RER B) that goes to Paris is easily reachable.
In short, I had a wonderful stay and I recommend this house sit 100 % ! If I have the chance and if our dates match, I'll be more than happy to come back and take care of Iago again.

I enjoyed petsitting the girls. They were very good at communicating when they are hungry or need to go outside to pee. They both ate well, but Mollie would sometimes steal Georgie’s treat, if she took too long deciding does she want it or not. They love going to the backyard to play and enjoy the sun. It’s not often sunny in Seattle. Georgie liked to sleep in the bed with me, but Mollie preferred her space. They like to stay in the basement during the day when it gets too hot upstairs. They were easy to take care and well behaved. They love to bark at anyone or car that passes by the house. Kathryn’s home is beautiful with a lovely back yard with garden and lots of plant that requires watering. The guest room was comfortable and I slept well. Thanks Kathryn for giving letting me stay in your home and taking care of your girls.
