Jack and Linda are very welcoming Hosts with a beautiful home. Willow and Wall-e are so easy to take care of. They have a robot litter and water fountain for the two cats and a self feeding fish tank. Tim and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in their house with all the amenities and walking Chemainus every day. The neighbours are so friendly and the local shops are so accommodating. It took a couple days for Wall-e to warm up but other than that (which was expected) everything was amazing. Definitely would recommend this sit!
I had such a lovely, restful time with Baxter the cat, in Phyllis & Ralph's mountain home. If you love nature, exploring, a peaceful setting with a great view, and a cat with great character- this is your sit! Phyllis and Ralph were very accommodating (I had car trouble on my drive up!) and provided me in advance with many helpful and thorough details about all the best the area has to offer. Between grooming & loving up Baxter (who took to me fairly quickly after his initial hesitation), my weekend was filled with farmer's markets, spring flower observations, cider tasting, live music, and a great bike ride into the river canyon along an old logging train route. Not to mention some really restorative napping by the pool! It was a pleasure to meet Phyllis and Ralph when they came home...they are the kindest and most thoughtful hosts, just great folks (including Baxter!) and I look forward to seeing them all again soon!
