Allison was amazing with communication and super open before we made our way to Jackson. Her instructions were totally clear and a breeze to follow, both for the house and her adorable dogs. Her place is in a prime location with loads of cool stuff to do nearby, and we absolutely loved her backyard – it's seriously peaceful. Fondu is a ball of energy, but he gave us major flashbacks to our own dogs back home. It made us feel right at home. And the best part? When he's tuckered out, he actually takes a breather (if only our dogs would do that, right?). He's all about playing fetch with his frisbee or ball and sticking close to make sure he's part of the action. But overall, he's a total sweetheart who loves to dish out kisses! Now, Winnie took a bit of time to warm up to us, thinking we might be some random strangers trying to break into her turf – classic guard dog instincts, you know? But once she realized we were just friendly folks, she showed off the sweetest and funniest personality. Plus, she's all about snuggling in bed with us because she's not a fan of the cold! While Winnie was getting comfy, it was smart to give her some space to hang out and eat. We also recommend moving her food bowl to a quieter part of the house for the first few days. Seemed like she wanted to protect her grub from us newcomers. But once she's feeling the love, you'll know you're in her good graces when she starts handing out kisses and lets you scoop her up! Our time at Allison's gorgeous place with her two lovable dogs was an absolute blast, and we're crossing our fingers for a chance to do it again down the road!
