I'm thrilled with the service WLPN provided for cat sitting my Luna. She is very timid and runs and hides whenever I have visitors (she's a rescue) but Perri was great with her and within days had her cuddling up on the sofa and playing with her toys! Me and my partner had never used a dog walker before; being first time dog parents we were so anxious to leave our fur-baby with someone that wasn’t family. But I can wholeheartedly say how pleased and happy we are with the service and support we’ve received from We Love Pets. Our lovely doggie absolutely adores Perri and Beverley and they clearly adore him too, we couldn’t ask for two better people. They’re both very passionate about what they do and this reflects hugely. We get photos every time they visit him and a lovely descriptive message telling us what he’s been up to. They’re both truly an asset to We Love Pets 🐶 also a huge thank you to Julie who keeps in touch constantly and answers any nagging question I may have, always putting my mind at rest with any worries I had at the beginning. My border collie girl Tala and I highly recommend We Love Pets Newbury. My girl is really anxious and has very specific handling needs which are always met, above and beyond. Her walker is so attentive to her needs, he's really earnt her trust and I am completely confident leaving her in his care. The team are so reliable, professional and adaptable even when walks are needed last minute. I've now used two branches of We Love Pets after moving area and I cannot fault the service.

We couldn't have been happier with the service we received from We Love Pets Newbury. From our initial contact communication was excellent and we were quickly linked up with Kate who took wonderful care of our chickens while we were away, sending us updates and even watering the plants while she was there as it was a hot week. Can't recommend 'we love pets Newbury ' enough. When we moved into the area we wanted to find a trustworthy & quality service for our new puppy, and were so happy when we found that. We were extremely lucky to be given Kate as our dog walker / sitter. She dedicates every minute solely to your dog & couldn't be any sweeter. The connection was there instantly & we immediately felt happy in her company & Nyla loved her. It makes a huge difference knowing your dog is in safe hands & having quality play time. We will continue to use We love pets when necessary and look forward to using their boarding services over the summer.

There is no need to look any further for your local, reliable dog walker, we Love Pets Newbury are highly recommended! Julie has always been very accommodating of the needs of our two dogs and last minute changes are never too much trouble. Having previously used a number of different dog walking companies in the area the communication and administration for We Love Pets is by far the best! We were lucky to be assigned Tracey as our regular dog walker and she is great with the dogs, sending pictures and updates after each walk and always communicating with us on the odd occasion she is running behind schedule. It is such a comfort knowing that they are being taken care of so well when we are away at work. The dogs love her and get so excited when they see her which is really reassuring to know that they are having a great time on their walks.

I can highly recommend the Newbury branch of We Love Pets. Julie was really helpful and flexible working with us to get our pet care sorted, and completely understood how important it was that we felt comfortable leaving them. Kate from Julie’s team visited before we went away and took every care to ensure she understood in detail the needs of our dogs, cat and chickens! I can highly recommend We Love Pets Newbury. My dog, Millie, is a rescue and can be quite nervous meeting new people, but was instantly at ease. She loves her walks with Beverley, and often sits by the door waiting for her! I have used We Love Pets since my cavapoo Roxy was just 9 weeks old! Roxy is nearly 3 now and Kate has been her primary dog walker the whole time. I can’t recommend Kate enough. She loves Roxy and Roxy loves her back! Kate is always on time and always sends me updates and photos of her walks. Most of all I love how Kate genuinely cares for Roxy and enjoys their time together. She is so great at her job and I totally trust her. If Kate is ever away she lets me know and We love pets will always arrange an alternative walker. They are also great at accommodating last minute changes to schedules! I’m a regular customer and have never had any need to look elsewhere. Highly recommend.

Danielle did a wonderful job looking after our budgie. Danielle was very professional, very caring and has a great passion for animals. It’s the first time we have used “We Loves Pets” and will again be using their services in the future. Skye (our budgie) was very well looked after and very happy. Adele is amazing with our dogs—they absolutely love going on walks with her! They're always so happy to be part of a pack, interacting with other dogs. The walks are varied too, with different locations each time, giving them new scenery to explore. Overall, we’re incredibly happy and highly recommend Adele. It’s wonderful to see our dogs socializing with other dogs and having so much fun!

I was so reassured and felt my dog was safe and well looked after whenever out with Adele. I could not recommend anyone more. Adele has been a godsend for me since starting a new job. My frenchie adores her and she is always so tired when she comes home. It really makes such a difference knowing someone loves your pet like you do when you're not around. I've heard the little chats through the window! The daily photo uploads are an extra reassurance and shows just how much fun they have. Cannot recommend Adele highly enough

Adele has looked after my 3 kittens/cats several times. She's an utter professional and totally trustworthy. The cats love her and I love the updates & photos I get when I'm away! Brilliant experience so far with Let’s Go Pet Care. Adele is lovely and very accommodating! I do shift work so I give Adele my shifts in advance and she comes when needed. Little lily loves going on group walks and we’re sent photos and video updates some days and there’s a Facebook page you can see photos of your dog having fun whilst you’re at work ! Great peace of mind and the photos are always brilliant shots! Totally worth the money and means dogs aren’t left on there own all day. She does puppy pop in when they’re young so they can be let out during the day to do their business. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a dog walker. You can see how happy lily is!

Adele has looked after our cat Dave whilst we’ve been on 2 holidays this year, firstly for a week and secondly for 2.5 weeks. Dave absolutely loved Adele! Having Adele pop in everyday meant zero cattery stress for Dave and he was super chilled out when we got home. Adele even had no issue with kindly clearing up the couple of half-eaten gifts that Dave brought in! I highly recommend Adele for any pet care needs. Thank you Adele!

Adele starting taking our Labrador in January this year. He absolutely loves it and has made some doggy friends. Adele always posts pictures of each walk which gives peace of mind that they are having fun. Adele is professional, keeps in touch and always confirms the walk time. Highly recommend Let’s Go Pet Care. Milo loves walking with Adele, and we love seeing what he’s been up to via the photos shared. Adele is accommodating when we need extra walks, which is really helpful for flexible working. She is also professional and friendly.

We have been using Let's Go Pet Care for about a year now and it has been a fantastic decision. Cosmo loves going out with Adele for his walks and it means he socialises with other dogs. Cosmo is a very energetic labrador, he comes home happy, tired and always clean (sorry Adele we know he loves puddles). I would highly recommend.

Kate has been absolutely incredible! We feel so comfortable leaving our dog Mabel with her, Mabel gets so excited whenever we drop her off because she knows and loves Kate now! Kate makes such an effort to send us Mabel updates and reassure us when leaving Mabel. We are so happy to have found West Barks! (Added bonus is Mabel always sleeps for ages after spending time with Kate lol)!

Kate was very kind to our beagle Poppy when she went to stay while we were on holiday. Kate provided regular “pupdates” on WhatsApp with photos and videos which we enjoyed receiving. It also gave us peace of mind. We would recommend West Barks to any dog owner looking for a home from home for their precious pup! 🐶

Not sure I’ve ever met a bigger dog lover than Kate. We look forward to handing our Labrador over to her for the weekends we go away because he’s always spoilt absolutely rotten and treated like he’s her own. Kate has been so amazing, I genuinely recommend her to everyone. I have two dogs and have never left them with anyone else before. I use Kate’s doggy daycare when I need to go into London for work and it is an absolute lifesaver! The dogs love their walks and time with her, they have such fun- they also love resident pup Chester! Kate sends regular photo updates so you can see what they’re up to, which is so nice. They come back home very happy and sleepy from all their lovely walks. Highly recommend!

We have recently started using West BARKs for daycare for my beagle Darcy and Kate has been brilliant! She communicates really well, she is friendly but professional and wants to understand and learn about your dog, sends updates during the day (from walks and snoozes!) and I feel really happy leaving Darcy with her. Would highly recommend.

We would highly recommend this Doggy Daycare! Helen has created a calm and happy place for dogs to spend time and our little dog (who is quite nervous) is always really happy to go there. Helen is caring and very knowledgable about dogs - she’s our first port of call if we have any questions about our dog’s health or behaviour. We have been sending Hetty to Helen for 3 years now, and we see many of the same dogs there each week, so I know she has low turnover of clients which makes for a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend Helen at Doggy Day Care Thatcham and Newbury. My dog Finn has anxiety and Helen is so caring and kind with him. He absolutely loves when she opens the door to welcome him in the morning. I know he has a great time when he is there, going for a walk and then playing with the other dogs during the day. She treats the dogs like her own and clearly their welfare is her priority. I am really glad that I found Helen and that Finn is so happy there!

I cannot recommend Helen enough! Our rescue gets very stressed with change so it was important for us to have someone who she’d like and who we can trust to take good care of her when we’re at work. She immediately felt at home at Helen’s and sees Helen’s place as her second home. All the dogs there are well socialised with each other and have great dynamics, they’re all best pals. We went through a few doggy day cares and we’ve never felt fully comfortable leaving our girl there, with Helen we’re completely at ease.

I can't recommend Helen and her Day Care highly enough! Des has been coming here twice a week for about 18 months since he was 5 months old and loves every minute. We get regular video updates of his antics and can see why he sleeps so well when he gets home. We like the fact that it's a small group of the same well behaved dogs and they all seem to get on really well.

We have taken our older rescue dog to Helen since we adopted him a year ago and she has helped him socialise and develop so much. We’re very grateful for the love and care she gives, as well as lots of great advice. Jacob absolutely loves going to see Helen and play with the other dogs, it’s been crucial for many reasons! 10/10 would recommend, always great communication and photos/videos of them playing

Both Tilly and I are so happy with Helen's dedicated care. Helen provides the dogs with love, exercise, play and security. She often sends photos and videos of the dogs having fun or cuddling up with her. I completely trust Helen with Tilly's care.

Our Dog Archie loves his time at Doggy Day Care Thatcham & Newbury - it provides a friendly, relaxed and safe environment for the dogs in Helen’s care. The daily updates Helen provides when Archie is with her are lovely and really reassured us when Archie first started going to day care... he is so happy to go, he doesn't even notice I have gone when I drop him off in the morning!!

Simon is fantastic and we can’t recommend him enough. He has been taking our 1 year lab called Blake out about 3 times a week for the past 3 months. He is reliable, friendly and absolutely loves dogs. He has helped us with lots of advice and we really trust him. Simon house sits too and his prices for everything are very reasonable. We would struggle without him and Blake loves his walks.

Simon pet care is amazing, he is so good with our year old puppy Fuse, Fuse is so excited when he hears Simon coming and I know he is great hands when out on walks. Simon will always help us when needed and was so supportive when Fuse was a tiny puppy.

Simon has been walking our dog Ruby for over 6 years since she was a puppy, he is reliable and accommodating. I would not leave my dog with anyone else. Simon and his associates are amazing, always really accomodating and more importantly have a great way with dogs and other animals. I have used Simon for dog walking and for dog and house sitting while away for weeks at a time and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

My fiancée contacted Trusted Pet Carers to enquire how they could help us on our wedding day, to look after our dog and have her as part of our day. During the initial communications, we dealt with Norman. A zoom call was set up with a link sent to us. We joined the call on the specified date and time, but nobody from Trusted Pet Carers joined. We waited 10 minutes and then gave up. I would not recommend this company.

My English Bulldog Luke, doesn’t like being alone for long periods of time and has a fear of kennels. It was always difficult to find someone to look after him due to these issues, until I came across Trusted Pet Carers. When I gave them details on the issues, they immediately understood and worked with me to find a carer who would be able to work with these issues. Now I’m happy that I can go on holiday and not have to worry about Luke.

Always the best service

Trusted pet carers is truly a good find, the service and care they offer is amazing. I used them when I went away for 2 weeks and when I came back off holiday I found my spaniels Tanya & Tamsin to be well fed and well cared for – not wanting to come home! They get spoilt with attention.

We were looking for puppy classes and was so happy to find that Lucy had a space. The classes took place at the moorside community centre which also so convenient. Our puppy has benefited a lot from just attending just 4 classes. We also had 1:1 session with Lucy which we found very helpful. I have now enrolled our 5 month puppy into the novice classes and can't wait to keep making improvements.

We have just finished the puppy training with our very energetic 5 months old working Labrador. We have found the last few months really challenging with our puppy but the classes always give him some focus and remind us how great he is. In addition to the puppy classes which we have loved. We also opted for a one hour private training session to try tackle our pups issues with being left alone, and his excitement at seeing other dogs. We now have a plan moving forward to make our lives outside of the classes more enjoyable.

Paul and Lucy have been amazing with our dog and we cannot thank them enough for the love and care they've shown him. They've been walking him weekly since he was about 4 months old and he's now a boisterous 1 year old and his favourite day of the week is when Paul or Lucy come to the door to pick him up. Honestly, you'd think we never walked or cuddled him the way he greets these two!! He absolutely loves his walks and runs out of the door the second he hears the van and the collar goes on! If anything, he seems to love them more than us, which makes us mad!! They've definitely helped with training him and it's so reassuring to know he's spending time with people he loves and feels safe and comfortable with. We couldn't recommend Woodland Waggy Walks more highly. Everyone should walk with them! :)

I have an energetic, slightly bonkers Lurcher. I was concerned she would be too much for Woodland Waggy Walks- however she has met her match with them! I can instantly tell when she has been out with them as she is flat out on the sofa when I come in (normally she is 6 ft jumping in the air!) They take her on long woodland and countryside hikes where she gets to socialise with other nice dogs. I have also recently used them for boarding and I felt so relaxed and reassured leaving her with them that we thoroughly enjoyed our time away knowing she was being so well looked after. I have no hesitation in recommending them- they are clearly dog lovers and know how to adapt for whatever breed they are looking after.

Fabulous! If you are looking for a dog walker you can trust you have found them! I have used Woodland Waggy Walks for 8 years and couldn’t have asked for a better service. Their knowledge and training of dogs is exceptional and most of all my border terrier adores them - as do we!

Lucy is a fantastic pet care provider. She has worked with dogs for many years and her reputation as a dog handler and trainer is second to none. I have known Lucy for many years and have no hesitation in recommending her.

Kevin and Cristal are extremely likeable and recently looked after our 15 month old Labrador, Luna for a 4 night stay....Luna was extremely well looked after and obviously enjoyed her time with them...would highly recommend to anyone looking for a trusting dog carer

Kevin and Cristal are great. Really knowledgeable and lovely - super accommodating. I picked up my two dogs from an overnight stay and they were very happy - they had been brilliantly taken care of and they clearly really like Cristal, Kevin and Buddy! Total peace of mind.

My regular dog sitter was fully booked, so needless to say I was quite nervous about finding a new sitter for my furry baby while we were supposed to go on vacation. After intensive search for a new host, I got in touch with Kevin & Crystal from Buddy's Pet Care. Chester usually barks at strangers, needs a bit of time to warm up to people. As soon as we got at their place for a meet and greet, instead of barking he was all kisses and jumps of joy. I realized that Chester will be in good hands during his 3 weeks stay with them. During our vacation, I received updates with photos and comforting words to let me know that Chester was doing great. It was obvious that they care about dogs - loves and treats them as they are their own. Kevin and Crystal are beyond awesome. Thank you very much for putting me at ease and for taking such a good care of our boy. Highly recommended for all the pet parents. 5 Stars review, very well deserved. We have booked already Chester’s stay with them for our Christmas vacation.

When my parents were unexpectedly taken ill at very short notice, Kevin was able to collect my parent’s puppy and look after him for us, while they recovered. Initially this was to be for a long weekend, and they ended up having Toby for two weeks. Very reliable, and totally flexible, nothing was too much trouble for Kevin and Crystal. Toby has obviously been extremely well looked after, and has come home happy and well. We will definitely use their services again, and recommend to all our doggy friends.

Our dogs love it. They are well cared for and happy to go each time! They also offer boarding if you need it. We left our dogs for a week while we were away on a trip that wasn't dog friendly. They were happy and healthy and while pleased to see us visible happy to be at buddy's.

Jan 2023: Our dog has just spent the last 2.5 years with Buddy, Kevin and Cristal. Our dog would bound out the front door, so excited to see them - they've been a huge part of his development. Kevin and Cristal treated our dog like their own and gave us advice when we asked for it. Freddie spent many nights and a few weeks whilst we went away, without a single issue. So sad we have now moved away from the area, but hoping our dog gets his holidays at Buddy's still. Thank you Kevin and Cristal, you're amazing! Nov 2020: Our dog absolutely loves his days with Buddy and the other pooches. We haven't used Buddy's for any overnights yet, just daycare - but we won't hesitate too.

Kevin has looked after our outdoor rabbit on several occasions and he is always reliable, trustworthy, does an excellent job and often goes above and beyond. When it was very hot he put ice bottles out for the bunny to cool down against! We will continue to be using him and thoroughly recommend his services for any pets.

We used Kevin from Buddy's Pet Care to pop in & look after our cat whilst we were away on holiday and we couldn't be happier with the service! Very personable service from start to finish, with everything thought out and more - nothing was too much trouble & our cat well looked after & more importantly happy! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use the service again in the future.

We take our dog here for his haircuts. They do a great job with his hair cut each time. The ladies are very friendly and the animals come first. They only cut one dogs hair at a time. We are booked in for his haircuts for the rest of the year! Highly recommended them if you need your dogs haircut.

Spire Ridge have lovingly looked after our cat whenever we go away since he was a kitten. We were unsure about catteries based on the others we had visited, but then we found Spire Ridge which have amazing large indoor pens, where our boy is always happy and comfortable, and we can leave him there knowing he's getting the care and attention he needs whether we're just gone for a weekend or for a couple of weeks.

Worthy of & given 6 stars ******, a great & friendly family run kennels & cattery, going through major expansion, very caring & accomodating policy, the cats pens are the largest & best laid out I have ever seen.

We had been using the same kennels for 30 years but a move meant we had to find somewhere new. So pleased we found Spire Ridge, it's a lovely family run kennels. Our puppy settled well on his first visit and will be returning regularly.

First time taking my pooches and they were so well looked after! The staff are just so caring and thoughtful and it’s obvious to see their love for animals. I have already booked my pooches in for whilst I’m away and I wouldn’t take them anywhere else. Highly recommended.

The staff are absolutely lovely here; so kind and friendly. This was my first time ever using a kennel and they put me at ease over the phone by offering for me to come and have a look round before my first booking. The kennels are located right in the countryside and away from Bath Road so lots of lovely fresh air. They have a nice big exercise area for the dogs, and each kennel has a long external run that the dog can use whenever they like. The interior is heated in winter. I have a young German Shepherd who can be a handful but they treat him really well. They offer their own food and even offered a bed for him when I forgot his. They always respond super quickly to whatsapp if I have any concerns, including last-minute changes to pick-up times and if I want any pupdates. The prices are also so fair. I have taken my dog here about 3 times now and will keep returning. Love the staff here. Thank you Spire Ridge!

We have been using Spire Ridge for the best part of the last 6 - 8 months, and they are absolutely brilliant. From last minute requests like pick up and drop off to always accommodating different times for us, the whole team at Spire Ridge are brilliant. Spireridge Kennels & Cattery were very accommodating and caring with our three-legged cat. We were kept updated with daily messages and photos the whole time he was there. He even got roast chicken for Christmas Dinner and a toy to go home with. The staff are so lovely and I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

My cat is 13 years old now and went to his first cattery between Newbury and Basingstoke in the summer. It was tiny and he was unhappy for days after he came back. Spire Ridge was the total opposite, lots of space inside his section, and was happy and healthy when I picked him up. No meowing in the garden for days this time, mind at ease. The staff at spire really love the animals and you can tell. Many thanks.
