Marti and Fred are absolutely wonderful hosts! We had the evening before they left to get to know each other and it instantly felt like we could become great friends. Bix is very friendly, but takes a while to warm up to strangers. The first day he didn't want anything to do with us, but he was playful and snuggly by the second! During the day He loves to spend lots of time outdoors and under the bed covers. Morning and evenings are for playing. Marti and Fred's home is quite lovely and in a cozy neighborhood in the hills on the edge of town. The nearby neighborhoods are great for walking and getting a bird's eye view of Prescott. The Thumb Butte trail system is easy to get to too for longer hikes. We will happily sit Bix again if asked!
Lisa was very communicative from the beginning. Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet in person, but we did have a video chat. Cooper was a sweet, old boy who was very obedient, playful at times, and all around, easy to care for. Being that he's older, feeding him and bathroom breaks are a bit more involved, and this was communicated to us from the very beginning, so it wasn't a surprise. We truly enjoyed our stay in Beaverton and Cooper's company. The home is in a very nice neighborhood and has everything you may need to cook, clean, and be comfortable - very close proximity and easy drive to downtown Portland.
We had a great time exploring Calgary with Goose. Lots of nice dog parks and Goose was very easy pup to look after! Very organised and detail instructions on the fish and the tank. Britta and Justin were very kind and easy to communicate with. They have a lovely home in a great spot :) We'd love to come back one day. Thank you for trusting us with your animals and home!
Jon and Ciara were excellent hosts. Prior to my arrival they kept in constant communication and were very easily reachable for any questions. During the interview to determine whether I would be a good fit, I could already feel their positive energy. Lana and Cocoa are absolute angels. Lana is one of the most social animals I have ever met in my life. She came up to me the first day when I was visiting and I could already tell that she would make my adjustment to Berlin, incredibly smooth and welcoming. Within the first two days, Lana was already snuggling with me at night and being incredibly affectionate. Cocoa is a little bit shy and reserved but she is still incredibly affectionate and adorable in her own way. Compared with Lana. It might seem that she is keeping a lot of distance but if you really focus on her you will see that she is constantly keeping an eye on you and at the point when she determined I was a trustworthy person, she also started to show a lot of affection physically. Jon and Ciara informed me of the cats’ favorite games to play, which I used to get close to them in a very short amount of time. Lana really loves any type of interaction, but especially with the worm string. Cocoa loves the feather and sticking the feather under the door will definitely catch her attention. In the last five or so days of my stay, Cocoa would often bring the feather to me and meow while I was getting work done, as a signal to play. It was the cutest thing ever!! Overall, I truly enjoyed housesitting for Jon and Ciara. They are great people with the cutest and friendliest cats and would urge anyone who gets the opportunity to stay with them to enjoy every moment. I already miss them so much!
We had a lovely sit at Baverstock, Jane, Ben and family were very kind and generous and made everything very easy for us, we fell in love with Barley, shame we couldn't have fitted him in our bags! Didn't see much of the cats, who preferred to dine and dash, the chook s were pretty easy and so were the rabbits and we appreciated the lovely fresh eggs. Barely helped us explore the woods and fields, hung out with us, came shopping and even to the pub for the odd meal, a very well mannered boy, and so, so, sweet. We had a great time
Marisa is an amazing person who really cares about her pets. She is so accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Her home is a lovely 3 story in a quiet, safe area of Chelsea in the Boston area. Unfortunately, her roof suffered wind damage after a large storm but Marisa went out of her way to provide me with a great room and a comfortable home. Sophie is such an enticing dog who is sweet, shy and shows her affection in subtle ways. Winston is a friendly hoot of a cat and Ruth is shy and demur. I loved my time here with these awesome critters and highly recommend it for future sitters.
