Wow ! There are superlatives, and then this ! One of the best ever ‘sits’ for us in every way, despite the ever changing Devon weather. The ponies were friendly and undemanding, Hobbes the cat a stunning looking creature and excelled at, well, being a cat, and Buck and Logan were the last straw to break our hearts. They took us on loads of adventures across Dartmoor over three weeks and we all had an absolute ball ( and numerous sticks). It’s been less than 8 hours since we left and we can’t stop wondering what they are up to now.
Thank you so much Julian, Claire, Daisy, Grace and Ben for trusting us with your home and most treasured companions. Perhaps we will meet again . . .

Michael and Susan
Taking care of Rudy and Maria in Michael and Susan’s beautiful house was a highlight of my summer. They invited me to meet them and the pets ahead of the sit, which helped us all to feel comfortable and gave me a chance to get acquainted with the sweetest dog imaginable. But even that introduction did not do justice to the joy that is Rudy. Maria is a nice kitty, if standoffish, but Rudy captured my heart. Michael was helpful and responsive to all my questions while they were gone, the critters were sheer delight; in short, it was a fun, rewarding experience from start to finish. The house is comfortable as well as beautiful, and the neighborhood is perfect for strolls or bike rides. I recommend sits with Rudy and Maria wholeheartedly.

Marley is a sweet boy , he takes some time to warm up to you and when he is comfortable with you will steal your heart! He has asthma and requires an inhaler every 12 hours this can be tricky in the beginning. Michael and Dana were gracious, generous fabulous hosts. They went over our resposibilities and made sure myself and son Frank knew exactly what to do to take good care of Marley. We enjoyed Bainbridge Island and want to visit in the future. If you want the “best” house/pet sit we recommend BI and Marley cat.

Bobbi & Doug
Bobbi and Doug are such wonderful people, and Omi is a sweet, dear cat. He's very well behaved, very playful and was a joy to care for. Bobbi and Doug's home is huge and absolutely gorgeous, a truly amazing and beautiful home! And the area is just amazing! It was such a pleasure house sitting for Bobbi and Doug and getting to know (and grow attached to) their sweet Omi. One of my absolute favorite sits of all time! All the very best to you three and hope our paths cross again someday! Warmest wishes, Chloe and Nick

Lila
Lila was an amazing communicator from start to finish!
Be warned! You will fall in love with Simba, the architectural home, the amazing floral garden, the back deck views, and all the amazing sights in this beautiful Queen Anne neighborhood!
From my pre-sit visit Don, Lila, Apollo, and Simba were a genuinely welcoming, gracious, and kind family!
Simba loves going for daily walks, followed me around some, slept most of the time, and was okay when I left the house without him.
Thanks again Lila and Don for allowing me to stay in your spacious home for 5 days before the start of my sit, for welcoming me to dinner, and for ensuring that I had sufficient food!
Did I mention the back deck views of the Puget Sound, cruise ships, ferries, waterways activities, and some islands across the Sound? 💕

Louise
Staying at Rob and Louise's countryside home was great fun, we thoroughly enjoyed it! Both Rob and Louise took the time before they left to explain things about the house very clearly leaving us feeling well prepared for their time away.
Sorrel was expecting pups so got lavished with attention and double portions to keep her energy up.
Sorrel is so well trained, a wonderful example of a working cocker spaniel, it made spending time with her even more enjoyable and walking her on a lead was effortless. Shes a girl eager to please and was a joy to be around. The house was really cosy and warm, and Louise made up the guest bedroom beautifully making for an excellent night sleep for both of us.
I took one of Robs fine antler topped walking sticks out for a trial run, and found it incredibly useful, great for rounding in the geese on the evening too!
Thank you for letting us sit and best of luck the the pups!
