Two elderly pointers welcomed me with tail wags and love snuggles! Sweet Toby and Uisge live to show and receive love. They and their family live in a beautiful piece of village history with a stunning garden and picturesque landscape surrounding them. I’m not sure why the human would ever wish to leave! Great Aga in the kitchen, too, and a comfy bed. The family carefully planned everything so well to the point that a sit here was as wonderful as a delightful Scottish breeze. Highly recommended pups and sit.
We had the best time at Mel's home! Ed, Bracken, Blossom and Charlie are gorgeous animals and a treat to look after! They easily warmed to us and listened to us during walks. We walked them through olive groves with amazing views and ancient ruins, twice per day. Mel made sure we knew everything we needed to, and made us feel at home immediately. We also loved swimming in the pool on a hot day! Thanks again Mel
Diana was super responsive and the previous sitters Cameron and Karyl helped us feel welcome and gave us lots of great tips and instructions. They even left us some delicious food which we really enjoyed. I don’t even know where to begin with the furries! Noodle was super adorable with his soul-piercing, heartfelt gaze and attention. Nugget loved her butt scratches and always had a perma smile so cute. We couldn’t stop taking pics of all of them but Q-Tip definitely dominated with his outrageous cuteness and regal Pharaoh/Wakanda crossed paw poses! All this not to mention the beautiful house with an amazing Sonos Arc soundbar that had insane sound quality and sweeping views of the Bay. All in all a fabulous sit and I would come back in a heartbeat!
This was my first house sitting experience with Trusted Housesitters. Kath, who I was fortunate to meet a few days prior to the sit, was lovely. She welcomed me into her home, talked me through Sammy's meds and the required care for both the cats. I found it reassuring to meet face to face as this was my first house sit. On arrival Kath had left a welcome card and bottle which I thought was very kind and thoughtful. The house was spotless, warm and very comfortable. My room was a generous spare bedroom with a comfortable double bed and I had use of the main bathroom. Sammy, the old gent cat was a sweetheart, no trouble with his injections and loved fuss and attention. Leo was slightly timid a first but we became friends by the end of the first day. Both cats were easy to care for and Kath had left very clear written guidelines for food and medications. Kath was available to message via whatsapp which I found reassuring and I was able to share some progress report pictures of the cats with her. I would very happily sit again for Kath.
