Jack and Carol were a wonderful couple to housesit for. Their generosity and kindness made our stay so special. We were lucky enough to get to stay with them pre and post their holiday.. staying with them pre their holiday was perfect because we were able to meet and see Gypsy and how to care for her properly. Gypsy is one of the sweetest dogs we have had the pleasure of looking after. Her energetic, silly, curious, and friendly personality meant we instantly fell in love with her. Getting to stay in Sundre was also so fun - we were able to make friends with the local community and feel like a local. We couldn't have felt safer and looked out for in Jack and Carol's home. We know that we have family in Canada now - because of our stay with Miss Gypsy.
This house sit was everything and more! Willow and Cleo are the most adorable doggies and the home is a really comfortable place to stay. Becky communicated before, during and after to ensure everything was going smoothly.
I had such a wonderful time getting to know sweet Rosie over this month-long sit. She is such a playful cat! I would be happy to return and care for her again. Maggie’s flat is a great size with a lovely back garden. There is a nice workspace as well as a large TV with mirroring capabilities. It’s a short walk to the Overground and the Bakerloo line, which will take you directly into central London.
This was a lovely house sit in a quiet, nice neighbourhood in Calgary. It was very easy to coordinate and I think overall a very laid back sit. Chester is very welcoming and friendly and LOVES just being around you. The tenant downstairs was very quiet by 9pm and we didn’t hear them until 10am if we even did hear them. The only thing I would say is that Chester definitely gets the night time zoomies. For anyone who is a light sleeper it may be a little tricky with him as he will walk around the bed, jump and paw but if you are used to cats or are a heavy sleeper it really is no problem and he is a great boy!
It was an absolute blessing to spend a couple weeks with Captain in Matt and Anne Marie’s home. The area was so pleasant to do different dog activities each day. Trails and parks were super convenient, fun and nice. The home was incredibly comfortable with a great outdoor area also. I worked remotely with no issue and Captain was incredibly patient and well behaved and our outings were so fun for us both! The kitchen was so nice to make treats and my meals in. I slept great and everything was so convenient. Complete pleasure!!
I had an amazing sit here with little darling Roger! Harriet is such a lovely person who made me feel so welcome and was even kind enough to pick me up from the station on arrival, show me around & leave some goodies for my stay. She has a lovely home with the most full of personality cat who loves a cuddle and a good nap. I’ll miss Roger so much! He was a dream to look after. The surrounding area is lovely too, a small town with local shops and nice nature walks. I’d be so happy to come back and sit for lovely Roger again. Thank you Harriet! <3
