Jen and James are fantastic people to work with. I completely trust that they take care of my pup and ensure she’s in a safe, fun, and comfortable environment. Their communication is fantastic, great rates, and very accommodating. I’m so glad I found this little refuge for my pup :)
We absolutely love bringing our dogs to Jen and James at the Red Maple!! Both our dogs are rescues and can be uneasy in new places but they are truly comfortable with them and are always excited to visit the Red Maple. They keep us updated everyday with pictures and details of their day. Highly recommended! - See happy puppy photos attached sent from the Red Maple during their stay!
I have never trusted bringing my dog anywhere more than I do here. She is a nervous dog and is very picky about who she likes but they have no problem taking the time Zelda needs to figure out who she’ll be buddies with. She is usually nervous with new people as well but the second I hand over the leash she’s ready to run to the kennels. They have always had no problem with special requests for things like medicine or extra brushing. Constant updates with pictures and videos are sent daily. My dog has changed so much for the better since going here so I will always use Red Maple!
We have 2 rescue pitbulls and while they are good dogs they are still "rough around the edges". We found these guys through a friend and they came highly recommended. They came to our house for a one on one training session. It was amazing and very well priced. Then both dogs went to their kennel over night. They took they time to work with the dogs. It wasn't one of those places you drop your dogs off and they are locked up the entire time. I am extremely happy with the service they provide.
We started boarding our dog during vacations with Jen and James about 8 months ago. They have done a great job helping her adjust to being a more social dog. Our dog has never given us trouble when we drop her off which I assume means she loves her time there as well. We can’t wait to start training classes very soon. Red Maple is also much more affordable than some of the kennels in Ithaca.
What a fantastic place! Jen and James are so kind and welcoming and take great care of my golden. They understand the needs of every dog. And they keep in touch and send great updates, photos and videos. I only wish Juju could go there every week!
My two fur babies had never been to a kennel prior to Red Maple. They both did great with Jen and James! They kept me updated with pictures, videos and messages. This will be there home away from home for now on! I highly recommend Red Maple!
I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Red Maple kennel. Jen regularly sends videos of my dog Gus playing with the other dogs via YouTube. It’s so nice to know he is being well taken care of and having fun when he is boarded in their kennel. Our Golden Doodle Gus is “special.” He’s nervous around new people and other dogs. Jen and James have the magic touch with boarders. They are easily able to accommodate Gus and meet his needs. We hired Jen to help us figure Gus out with training and it’s helped us out so much as a family. Their accommodations are well taken care of and I never worry when I leave him in their care. They accept Venmo which makes payment so easy. We really like this kennel and I would highly recommend this location to board your special pup.
Jen and James have shown an amazing awareness as to dog’s personality and needs! My Jasmin has a very sensitive personality. I did not say this to them before I left her, to be boarding with them. I only said she had not had a lot of opportunity to socialize. They slowly introduced her to appropriate “friends” and she had a wonderful stay. Jen sent frequent pictures and videos to put my mind to ease. When I picked her up Jen said Jasmin is a sweetheart and is very sensitive! We have since attended obedience classes for both dogs and had private consultations for my sheltie. In 2 sessions I have achieved confidence that my sheltie can be social and her bark is limited or none as we approach a new dog. It was a big hurdle that took me many years to resolve. I highly recommend Jen and James, The Red Maple Kennel.
We have been boarding our two senior beagles with Jen and James since they opened. Our girls love it there and we have no concerns leaving them there. They are well taken care of we get pictures, videos or texts every day. It is easy to see how much they both care about the dogs and how knowledge able they are.
Our dog Riley always comes home tired after daycare. We always recommend Pet Playhouse to fellow dog owners and we are SO appreciative of their boarding whenever we need to leave town for a few days. The staff are so very wonderful, we have been coming here for 6 years even after moving 40 minutes away.
We've been going to doggy day care at the Pet Playhouse for a few months now, maybe once a week or once every other week. I have tried one other doggy day care in Ithaca and this is far superior. It was recommended by a friend who used the kennel, and I cannot recommend it enough. My dogs come home EXHAUSTED and you really get a two for one deal, they are often wiped out until evening the next day. I know my dogs love it because they are always so excited to come. I also feel like a VIP whenever I pickup. They can see you pull in and your dogs will be in the waiting room by the time you get to the front door, which is very convenient. I used to have to knock on the door of the other doggy day care and then wait for them to round up my dogs. Not to mention the prices are extremely reasonable and cheaper than many others in the area. Picture of exhausted dog attached.
We are very happy with Pet Playhouse. This is the second summer we've left our dogs for a 2 week plus stay, being able to drop the dogs off and have a worry-free vacation is priceless. The dogs always come back exhausted and are happy to return!
I highly recommend the Pet Playhouse and Kennels for both dog and exotic boarding. My dog and two chinchillas absolutely love it here. Caitlyn is very knowledgeable and professional. The facility is also fantastic.
My dog loves it here. Dogs get a lot of play time. It is not uncommon for your dog to sleep for 2 days straight after a couple days at the Pet Playhouse.
Excellent service Caitlyn is wonderful with the dogs!!
I’ve never had luck in having this place pick up, let alone return a call to set up a tour. Not exactly very customer friendly, and doesn’t make me want to bring my dog here unable to ever reach anyone.
The staff is wonderful, and our dog always comes home happy and exhausted!
My 2 high stung protective rescue dogs love it here, they have plenty of time and space to run. Reasonable rate, very friendly.
My dog was so well taken care of by them. We went out of our way to take her there and sleep r so glad we did.
We love Malcolm and Mutts, it’s become a second home for our play-all-day border collie. Aaron and Kaylee treat her like one of the family, and she’s always tuckered out after her stays here. Highly recommend!
My dachshund Matilda has been staying with Malcolm and Mutts for two years now. She is a pandemic puppy so this has really helped with her socialization and bringing her out of her shell! She’s always very relaxed and tired when she gets home 😀 …
Went on vacation for a week and left Sadie at Malcolm & Mutts. Thought is would be a great experience for her. She'd be taken care of and get some training while we were gone. Literally the exact opposite is what I received. I received a broken puppy back; she was lethargic, emaciated, and scared. Sadie had diarrhea, which she has NEVER had before, just like she's never shed the way she is currently. When asked where there any issues I was told she was sick once but recovered quickly after a bland diet. I sent the food and treats she needed for the week and when I picked her up I received the dry food back. Still trying to figure out what happened to my dog but every time I asked I would receive a response that he'd then try to walk back when questioned more about it. Sadie has been on a raw diet her whole life, she's never had diarrhea, never had her coat falling out and never been afraid to go outside. I still have to drag her outside to use the bathroom. She looks and is acting like she was starved. Pictures don't lie, and if you look at the two I'm posting you can clearly see what Sadie looked like before we left versus what she looked like after her week at Malcolm & mutts. I don't recommend.
I think they have good intentions, but it's so disappointing. I used them for a while for my dog..every time he came home he smelled like poop/pee(they don't let you see the inside). I didn't have any other options, so I continued and would just tell my self it's from all the fun. I would pay the extra money for training to be done, I never got a detailed thing at the end of the day so who knows if it ever got done. Sometimes he would come home with scratches. One day he came home a gash in his ear (would post the pic but it's gory). That was my last straw, I messages the owners and got a what felt like a copy and paste response... The owners seem great, but it seems they've lost the spark they had with having the day care.
We've been using Malcolm & Mutts for about a month now for dog walking, doggy daycare, and dog boarding. I love the extra things I can book like a bath, pick up and dropoff, and training! Our pit bull Bruce is still a bit of a puppy but has calmed down after starting daycare and getting so much playtime! Aaron and Kaylee have taken great care of him and helped out with his training which has been a huge relief!
We used Malcolm and Mutts back in August for regular dog daycare twice a week. Our dog had successfully completed a trial day a few months back and we thought it would be good for her to play with dogs during the day rather than being at home alone while we went to work. The first couple of times we dropped her off, she seemed more hesitant and nervous than usual. When we picked her up, she seemed overly relieved, whining and jumping. She has been to another dog daycare before, and we hadn't experienced these behaviors from her previously. We chalked it up to our dog being nervous in a new environment, as we recognize our dog can be a bit hyper-sensitive. Fast-forward a couple of weeks and my boyfriend takes our dog to drop her off for the day at Malcolm & Mutts, she becomes so nervous that she jumps the fence and goes running down the street. My boyfriend chases after her and once he's finally able to catch her, he walks her back to the car and just left with our dog. We never asked for our money back (as we paid for a multi-day package and had a few unused days left) and they didn't contact us to apologize, follow-up, or anything. We have taken our dog back to the original daycare and she has not expressed this nervous/anxious behavior. I'm not sure what happened at Malcolm & Mutts that made our dog so nervous, but each time I picked her up and asked how she did during the day I only received positive feedback.
I dropped off my pup Sparkles for a daycare assessment and he came back happy. Aaron was so friendly, and answered all my questions. He also took the time to listen to and address my questions and concerns. Malcolm and Mutts came highly recommended by many friends and I definitely got a great vibe from Aaron. I just signed up for daycare with them and I can’t wait for my dog to go have a blast there with his new doggo friends.
Our little dog LOVES his day care days! We feel good about the care he gets when he goes to play with his friends each week. When we went away recently we boarded him at Malcolm and Mutts and he did really well there which was a big relief to us. We're glad to have found a place we trust and that our boy enjoys so much!
I used Malcolm & Mutts for daycare and boarding for over a year. Since starting daycare there, I have seen a drastic difference in Leo's socialization skills; he is much more confident and comfortable playing with other dogs. If we were still living in the area, he would still be a regular. I recommend them!
Would not recommend. Last summer, after a week of boarding with Malcom and Mutts, our dog came back home with diarrhea and was SO SKINNY. After asking Aaron if our dog had been acting strange/not eating, he shared that there was a "stomach bug" going around the dogs at M&M and that many dogs had required medicine from their vet. Isn't this something you would tell us immediately at pick up? Not when inquiring 2 days later?! Meanwhile, the huge bag of dog food (and scoop) that I had left, was gone. The bag was brand new and there should have been quite a bit left over. I would NEVER take my dogs here. We since then have found other options and are much happier - now we don't have to worry if/when we go away and can't take the pups with us. Phew!
My experience with Dog Dayz Inn and owner Kim and her team was simply outstanding! Each time they provide exceptional care for my two young dogs, exceeding all expectations. From the moment I drop them off, I knew they are in good hands. Kim and her team demonstrated a genuine love for animals and a dedication to their well-being. They provided a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for my furry companions. I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and expertise of the staff at Dog Dayz Inn. They went above and beyond to accommodate my dogs' specific needs and preferences, providing personalized care that truly set them apart. I highly recommend Dog Dayz Inn to any pet owner seeking top-notch care for their furry friends. Kim and her team have earned my trust and gratitude, and I will definitely be returning for future boarding needs. Thank you, Dog Dayz Inn, for providing such exceptional service! (PS: the pic attached with my dogs are from home and not Dog Dayz Inn).
Very friendly and kind. Very personable employees and owner. Treat my furbaby as their own. He loves going and seeing his friends and making new ones!!! Gets so much exercise he is tired right out. ♥️
Very friendly folks. They love the pups and are attentive to their needs. The owner is very responsive to texts about scheduling and their hours are very helpful if you don't have a 9-5 job. My little dog started going to Dog DayZ Inn a year ago and her ability to socialize with other dogs has markedly improved. I am comfortable taking her to dog parks now knowing she has the skills to play well with other dogs thanks to the folks at Dog DayZ Inn!
This was our first time boarding our dogs and with 4 dogs which a couple don't get along they were extremely professional and listened to all of our concerns. They stayed for 5 days and they all came home happy and healthy so we couldn't have asked for a better experience!!! Thank you all for the great service!!
Do yourself and your dog a favor. Avoid this place. Be assured that if there is an issue or problem that they will put the blame on you.
We’ve boarded our two dogs there many times and they always come home super happy to have hung with their friends
My dog got very sick after staying here, was underfed, smelled/stained, had a skin infection, new scars, and is now extremely anxious when placed in a crate. I’ve been too worried to speak up; I trusted my dog in their care and feel so guilty for unintentionally putting my dog through this. These people were supposed to take care of my baby and they didn’t. I just truly don’t want this to happen to anyone else. This place is clearly not a clean, healthy, or safe environment and I’ve heard this and worse things from a lot of people who brought their dogs here. It makes me so sick to my stomach knowing my dog and probably so many others were and are so badly mistreated.
I was referred here by my mother and a friend confirmed how great Kim and her staff are. It still takes my GSD a moment to go in when we need to board him but the staff are patient and do their best to help him gain confidence. He always comes home happy and tired His socializing skills have improved since he goes there (not often) and he LOVES to play. The rates are competitive and I never hesitate to take my dog there.
Our dog loves it here! She has been going for day care and boarding since she was a puppy and gets so excited when we arrive. The staff is so friendly and always remember her. We couldn’t ask for a better place to take care of our girl
Kim and the staff at Dog Dayz Inn are remarkable. My Roscoe P LOVES it there and I wouldn't trust anyone else to meet his needs and my crazy schedule. Roscoe comes home, tuckered out from the play he gets during the day and when I have to board him, I know he is well taken care of. Spending time here is an important part of his routine. Thank you for ALL that you do.
My family and I love Almost Home, but more importantly, our dog never wants to leave when we pick her up! The care that Susan and Lee give to the dogs and their owners is amazing, from reservation to pick up. Their reception area is clean, cozy, and full of dog toys. The first time we took Rosie there, Lee took her out to play and Rosie was instantly comfortable with him, and with Susan as well. The dog's rooms are great - functional yet comfortable, and our dog loves the indoor-outdoor run. Our lab puppy is a bit boisterous, so they made sure that when she played with other dogs, she only played with dogs that matched her energy level. The dogs' safety is clearly their top priority. They have convenient pick up and drop off hours, and sometimes they even send pictures while we're away. From start to finish, Almost Home provides a wonderful dog boarding experience. Highly recommended!!
I have left my 2 dogs at Almost Home for the last 3 years. Both are anxious dogs (as is this owner when I have to be away from them). Susan is welcoming and obviously loves dogs and taking care of them. The place is clean and isn't like a kennel, it's like rooms for dogs. When I ask for the pups not to be out with other dogs, she makes sure this is what happens. I can trust the dogs are safe and happy.
We love Almost Home! We have been sending our dog Lucy to Almost Home for over 4 years and have had nothing but positive experiences. I would highly recommend lee and Susan to anyone looking for dog boarding. A very clean, friendly environment, rooms and not cages. Lee and Susan go the extra mile for each dog. They know and understand Lucy and all her quirky habits and Lucy makes herself right at home. Lucy never comes home freaked out from being boarded and to me that is a great testament to the care she receives at Almost Home. Susan has even sent pictures when I was missing Lucy! It truly is Almost Home for my dog!
I would recommend using almost home to anyone, including those to who have never boarded their pet. This was our first time leaving our dog for an entire week. They made sure she was comfortable and felt right at home. Their facilities were really clean and each dog had an individual room. They even sent me pictures of Luna while I was away! Luna didn’t even want to come home with us when it was time to pick her up!! Luna rates Almost Home five stars as well :) we’ll definitely use them in the future!
We feel so lucky to be able to get away knowing our dog is so well cared for. We fortunately found Almost Home years ago and we have had outstanding experiences through the years. Our dog is obviously exceedingly well cared for while he is there. Susan and Lee know their dogs so well and really set all of their pets up for successful, adapting little detaisl to meet every pets needs- getting lots of outside time and socializing time. It is impressive how tuned in they are to their animals and the great environment they provide for their boarders. We feel so lucky to have them.
We have had many dogs over the years and have always felt uncomfortable leaving them when my wife and I traveled. We have had experience with many kennels and even dog sitting people. Over the last 7-8 years we have been boarding our dogs exclusively at Almost Home Dog Boarding. Our dogs have never seemed traumatized in any way when we pick them up. The discomfort of missing our dog for the period of time we are away is softened by the knowledge of how comfortable and happy our dog is at Almost Home. It is not just the physical differences from other kennels, it is the warmth and caring that Susan and Lee display every time without fail. If you love your dog, we highly recommend that you board them at Almost Home Dog Boarding.
I have been using Almost Home to board my dogs for 3 1/2 years. I have two large German Shepherds. I checked out every other boarding facility in the area and none of them are as nice as Almost Home. I especially like the fact that the dogs can be inside and go out the doggy door and see each other outside. Also the floors are heated and the room is not a cinderblock cubicle it looks like a kids room. Nice touch. The dogs are also given play time outside each day and that is important. The most important thing for me when I am traveling is knowing my pups are safe and when I leave them off with Susan and Lee I know they are safe and in very good hands. My pups are truly Almost Home.
Almost Home exceeded our expectations! We left our dog, Milo, here for a little less than a week as we traveled to a friend's wedding. The owners, Susan and Lee, were very helpful and quick to respond to my emails. They seemed genuinely interested in Milo so that they could give him a good experience. During our trip, we received several updates and pictures, which helped put our minds at ease, since it was the first time boarding our pooch. When a line of storms prevented us from flying home and made us a day late to pick up our dog, Almost Home was very accommodating, and set up an alternate pick-up time. No hassle whatsoever. Wonderful service for a price that didn't break the bank. We'll definitely bring Milo back whenever we need to go out of town again!
We have been taking our dogs to stay at Almost Home for over 7 years. Lee and Susan have taken care of our elderly golden retriever, Tess, our difficult rescue, Merrilee, and our highly active rescue, Finny. Each dog required a different touch and amount of care. Regardless of their individual needs and personalities, we are confident that they each had their needs met and had a special time while they could not be with us. Susan and Lee get that these dogs are our children and treat them with the care and love they deserve. I can't imagine bringing my dogs to any other place. Almost Home isn't a kennel, it's as good as home for our pets.
We've come to learn that it is us, not our dog, that feels bad when we leave him at Almost Home. He loves it there and is treated like a part of Susan and Lee's family. I highly recommend boarding your dog here. You won't have to worry one bit while you are away because your pet will receive excellent care!
Bed and Biscuits is just awesome! They have been so accommodating and friendly every time I’m there. My Chocolate Lab June absolutely loves it there. When we pull up in in the morning she can’t get out of the car fast enough. When I pick her up in the evening she is worn out and if you know Labs that’s almost impossible. Especially an 8 month old Lab! I highly recommend Bed and Biscuits of Ithaca.
Staff are friendly and my first impression was good. However, there were some issues with my dog’s stay. I purchased Busy Dog Package and was supposed to get daily photo updates, but no photos at all. I even called them during the stay, they promised me they will send me photos, but not at all. Upon picking up my dog, they offered to provide me some credits as a compensation, but I didn’t get any credits at all. Back home I found a scar at the corner of my dog’s eye, but they didn’t mention it. Hopefully you will take the feedback seriously and improve.
My Golden Retriever certainly enjoys himself at Bed & Biscuit when I board him there. It shows the way he can't wait to get in the front door of their facility when I drop him off there. He is a high energy, high drive Dog and they take good care of him. He was on antibiotics and needed a skin treatment daily the last time he stayed there and the staff did a great job with that as well. The hot spot area looked well on it's way to healing when I picked him up.
Absolutely fantastic! The team at Bed and Biscuit is super friendly and my dog loves them. This is saying a lot since my boy is usually wary of new people. I’ve boarded him here twice and the second time I dropped him off, he couldn’t wait to go. He gave the team member at drop off a big hug. I love that they post photos of the dogs on their Facebook site regularly so I can see my boy and the other cute dogs while I’m away. They always looks so happy. They definitely tailor their service to the individual dog. The site is also very clean and well managed.
Bed and Biscuit was a great place for my dog! He did daycare, as well as occasional boarding, and the staff are wonderful! They do a great job of supervising dogs in daycare, communicating about and addressing any behavioral concerns that come up, and are patient with questions. My dog was always happy to get there and play with other dogs and I was happy knowing he would be well taken care of.
Five star facility and service. We boarded our two dogs for the weekend and had a marvelous experience. The dogs are both rescues so we worry about kenneling them, but the care and kindness they received was extraordinary—right down to the daily (twice in one day) email reports. We are so very grateful and highly recommend the kennel to anyone looking for a home away from home for their pets.
I was a little nervous to board my cat for the first time, but Bed and Biscuit was a wonderful experience. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable, and it seems like my cat adjusted very well. I'll definitely be back!
It is never easy to leave a pet with someone else let alone strangers. It is doubly anxiety provoking when you have to leave your pet in an emergency situation and in a new city. When faced with such a situation last week, all we could do is look on line and hope that the high reviews that The Bed and Biscuit had received were genuine. I can’t express how relieved I was to discover the gem that The Bed and Biscuit is. My pup came back happy, not stressed, and I could swear cleaner and brushed. The Bed and Breakfast is run by genuinely nice people who love dogs. They offer a wide range of options from day, to short stay, to long stay with bonus packages of entertainment for your pet. I wholeheartedly recommend giving them a try. I know we feel much more calm knowing that our dog will always be well received and happy to go there. It’s always necessary to have a boarding facility at the ready for your pet because you just never know when you’ll need one. Thank you for the great experience!
Thank you Bed N Biscuit of Ithaca for taking such great care of our puppy. Staff was wonderful and very responsive to emails/questions. The pictures showed how much he enjoyed the stay/pampering. We picked up one happy pup.
I have a shorkie, which has more of a shi-tsu traits. My wife and i left her on boarding, clean and with her medium length hair well groomed. She was supposed to stay for a week, but we were able to pick her up a day earlier. We she saw us, she was very happy to see us back, jumping and wanting to be over all over us. We took her back to the car and noticed pee smell, and followed at this, when she calmed herself down, we noticed her tail was a complete mat. She had huge mats under her ears and sticking to pee on her paws. Once at home, we gave her a full bath, but even then her paws still smell to pee. I spent 3 hours trying to undo all the mats she got at the place, but is a never ending work. I sincerely do not know how you treat dog there, leaves much to say when it comes to mine. On top of that, we left food for her that at home usually lasts about 2 weeks, and was surpeised to get a call saying her food was about to run out. In the begginig we thought was a good thing, she was eating well, but even more surprising was to hear that wasn't the case, they served her food with water (i wonder why... i a 1 and a half year dog, not an old one that has no teeth), and they throw it away. As final note, i want to thank you Bed and Biscuit staff, I spent months and many many hours taking care of her hair, and you managed to ruin months work in less than a week, something that even without taking care of her hair would result impossible at home. And please, answer this question: do you leave dogs to walk on their (or other dogs) pee? I surely do not find any explanation at how it could happen.
The best dog daycare/boarding we've ever used. Our dogs wake us up early in anticipation on days they're going and are tired for at least a whole day after. Never have to worry about safety or attentiveness.
Exceptional doggy daycare. Run by professionals. Very caring. Our dog both boarded many times and attended twice a week for almost two years. He was always eager to join the pack, running in and first getting his pets from the staff and then on to join the play. We always felt safe leaving him for boarding. Very caring staff going beyond what is expected to take care of dogs just the way owners hope. Definitely recommend to anyone who is considering putting their dog into a friendly, active, playful, safe environment.
my two dogs are in this daycare and love it there! they come home after a day of playing and having fun! The staff are caring and loving and we feel safe and in great hands. Thank you Canine Comfort for all you do!
Five stars is not enough. Our dog LOVES Canine Comfort. They're easy to communicate with and provide a wonderful service. The rules might seem overwhelming at first, but once you are in the pack, you'll understand why. It's such a well run organization and also one that treats each dog with love and each family respect.
Ellie and the entire Canine Comfort crew are a blessing. They go above and beyond for each and every dog in their care and I never worry about my pup when I drop her off. She comes home happy and tired from a day of fun and exercise with her friends. Each staff member is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with any questions you have - and are always willing to take the extra step to make you and your beloved pup feel comfortable. I'm so impressed by the level of professionalism and genuine kindness I've experienced, and would highly recommend Ellie and the entire staff at Canine Comfort to anyone looking for a safe and loving dog daycare and boarding service.
We have been taking our dog to Canine Comfort for over 4 years now and she loves it. She gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. They have a large outdoor & indoor area for the dogs to run around including a pool in the summer and obstacle courses outside. The dogs are able to roam from inside to outside as they see feet. When we pick her up at night I know she's had a great day playing with her friends and the staff because she's excited but also exhausted. The staff are fantastic, they genuinely care about the dogs and love what they do!!! They provide boarding but only for the dogs that attend daycare. I feel comfortable leaving my dog with them if I have to go away for a night or weekend because she knows the staff and the dogs that will be there.
This was hands down the best dog daycare in all of Ithaca, NY. The owner and employees were not only incredibly friendly but they were responsive and flexible with every single request I had, even when I made mistakes and slept in past the allowed “drop off time”. There was an in depth “interview” for you and your dog and it was all worth while. It ensured that the dogs that were part of the group would all get along and that the owners were responsible adults that could pick up and drop of their dogs at an appropriate time. Every time my dog, Piper, left this daycare facility she was so exhausted but also well taken care of. She would sleep all evening the day after daycare and the next day. Their rates were less than every other place in town and they accepted a number of different payment methods. I would recommend this place to anyone that lives nearby and hope you take your dog to these friendly workers.
All of us local pet parents can relax and find our own comfort and ease when we drop Fido or Feebie off at Canine Comfort. The doggie day care and boarding center is well staffed with knowledgeable, and attentive employees. My positive experience began after I had reached out to the center with one or two questions regarding price, services, and breeds accepted. I was able to speak directly with the owner, Ellie who made herself available to me with all of my additional questions. We had an excellent conversation that created a foundation for the kind of relationship I am looking for in a daycare provider. Ellie and her staff continuously provide the personalized care I seek and expect for my dogs, which in turn provides me with peace of mind. It matters, thanks Canine Comfort!
Canine Comfort is a very organized and safe place for dogs to interact and play.
My boxer and yellow lab have been coming here for years, not just for doggie day care, but also for boarding. I can tell you that it's a wonderful place, where the dogs are loved and pampered. Ellie and her "pack" are just amazing with our babies. I highly recommended.
We had to make an unscheduled trip to Florida last week and needed to board our Boston Terrier. He’s not used to being left in a kennel but Shelly and her husband took very good care of him. We were very pleased with how he was treated there and will definitely use them again! Thank you Shelly!
Shelly and Brandon are terrific! We had to board our dig unexpectedly and they were terrific in accommodating us:)
I dropped off my lab mix there once for a vacation because my mom always used them. I'll probably go somewhere else, if only for the fact that they didn't care that my dog was on a training regimen and refused to adhere to it at all. It was only a clicker, and it had to be clicked when she ate and got a treat, when they refused to do it I wanted to take her somewhere else but I didn't have the time to make new arrangements for her. It's poor service, if you ask me. Otherwise, she came back happy and healthy. If your dog has any kind of special needs or some kind of training regimen, find someplace else.
Can not be any happier. I called literally at the last minute and they took our dog without issue. They took great care of our dog and we had a worry free vacation. I would highly recommend this location.
We have been using this kennel for years because Carol loves the animals in her care. The kennels are clean and warm. We wouldn't go anywhere else.
Carol has been great! Mia seems happy when we pick her up! Prices are reasonable.
We always leave our pups here when we go away and they are well cared for
Friendly kennel, first time there. Duke my chocolate Lab adjusted very well.
Very friendly and they take amazing care of our pets.
Great caring people. Your family member will be in good hands.
