Goodness where to begin? We absolutely loved our month long sit for Ava and John. Firstly, they are superb humans and we actually wished they could have stuck around. We enjoyed our evening together before they left! They were also very flexible on our arrival and even fed us a delicious meal. Second, their animal gang was absolutely lovely. Dulce is such a sweetheart and loved her daily hikes which we also delighted in. We got so fit during our time in Rye and thoroughly enjoyed getting out in nature. They have all sorts of trails right outside the front door which was our favorite part. Major and Burrito were easy to care for each day and the feeding took just a bit of time in the AM and PM. The kitties are wonderful and we especially fell in love with Cowboy! He was always around for a good lap/pet session. Basically pet commitments are minimal and require no fuss. Third, their home and surroundings are truly mountain resort status. Such peaceful forest views and the home is beautiful- you can tell right away that John and Ava take really good care and love their home and pets. We also loved their spa after a solid snow shower. We would not hesitate to come again. In fact, we really hope we can. If you love peace/quiet, nature, sweet animals and hiking- this will be perfect. You will come away feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and wondering if you really need to go back into civilization. ;) Thank you again, Ava and John!! We truly had a joyous time in your cozy home and your animal gang will be talked about for quite some time!

Lovely park nearby with amazing views. Aspen is an adventurous dog, loves to go explore. Quite aggressive towards other dogs. You must be strong in order to walk her. Super chill dog though. Good companion for the week! If you are looking for a good CO trip. This is it!
This was easily one of the best experiences I’ve had as a sitter - if I could give it six stars, I would! Steve and Jan are incredibly generous and kind, and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and right at home. Toby and Grace both have such personality, and absolutely stole my heart. I loved walking with them around the neighborhood and taking in the views, and also relaxing with them by the fireplace in the cabin. And of course the location is stunning - with so many options for outdoor adventure and proximity to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. I loved staying here and would absolutely come back anytime, in a heartbeat :)
Housesitting for Katrina & Adam has been a really wonderful and beautiful experience. This was my first housesit with TrustedHouseSitters and I’ve loved every moment spent with Rudy & Puffin at this cozy surf shack. :) Hosts: - Katrina & Adam are warm, friendly, and always willing to help. I really appreciate the detailed instructions and handwritten note they left, making everything clear and easy. Super great communication, very responsive to messages and issues. Just very considerate humans <3 Pets: - Rudy & Puffin are extremely well-behaved doggies. They’re super cuddly and have great energy, so getting to take care of them is really a treat. Rudy is a great hiking/running buddy and very quick to pick up on things. Puffin is very low-maintenance and a perfect couch cuddling companion. (They both are, actually.) Having one dog on each side was my favorite. Place: - The house is comfortable, tastefully decorated (there were fresh flowers when I arrived), well-equipped with all the essentials, and has a great backyard space for a perfect indoor/outdoor balance. - Location is very convenient, minutes from the beach and downtown, close to convenience stores (7/11 down the block) Overall: - 10/10 would recommend/return :)
