Lisa, first, I am very sorry for taking longer than I said to write this review (1 week and I went a little over...my apologies!), but it was very busy when I returned. Now for my review: I booked Lisa from my gut reaction to her first email and then subsequent ones. She did not have any reviews at the time, but after reading SO many profiles and holding out for that "one special one", I was glad I did hold out. Lisa is a hidden gem in zeewoi, because while experienced with animals, she was just starting out on here when she applied to keep my little Molly while I was away in Antarctica. Lisa was amazing. Her communication was timely and very thorough. It was evident that she and my dog bonded very fast. Due to COVID and the Antarctica cruise I was on, there were a lot of hurdles (covid testing) to pass to even get on the ship. This put a lot of uncertainty toward this trip on the front ends and back ends of it. However, Lisa strived to accommodate the uncertainties, if they came to pass. Luckily, it all went perfectly and we had the time of our lives. I could not have taken this trip without the assurance she gave me. There wasn't a lot of communication during our trip b/c, well...we were at the bottom of the Earth! However, when I returned, I did find detailed updates on Molly, along with some photos. Molly got so many walks and I do feel that Molly was even a bit sad after the newness of me coming back home wore off. It was as if she was still waiting to see if Lisa walked through the front door a few times. I am very thankful to have met Lisa, and if she has applied for your sit, give her a chance, even if she still doesn't have the most reviews like some profiles have after a few years. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I knew to trust my gut with her. Lisa, if you ever want to return to Nashville, just let me know and I'll try to be out of town again! ;) haha. I also talked to Mitch about getting a future THSitter for him, as well.....where both our dogs would stay together at HIS house. Believe me...you would LOVE his house on the lake. It's incredible! :) You'll be the first I contact for our next travels, if you think you ever want to return here....but who knows when that might be, given these stinkin' gas prices now, right? Well, all the best to you! Thank you for a wonderful sit. I hope you get all sits that you hope for in the future!

Taylor was amazing! Taylor was very communicative and genuinely cared about our fur babies. We feel lucky that Taylor found us applied for the sit. He is welcome back anytime.

Nidaa
Nidaa is a kind, generous and open minded person, she was great in communication before and throughout the sit. Both cats were an absolute pleasure to look after and very affectionate. The apartment is centrally located with access to all public transport links to other parts of the city. I would be delighted to care for Richie and Ossi again, and would highly reccomend sitting for Nidaa

We had a fantastic time looking after Patrick and Rose's home and animals. They made us extremely welcome and are very kind and happy people. Their farmhouse is really comfortable and we loved cooking with the Aga and enjoyed being in the warm kitchen. We had a lovely room, with a very comfy bed and super ensuite - great shower and bath and fantastic views over the farm.

We spent some evenings in their sunny garden room and they have a fab terrace too. The garden is quite magical and we ate home grown beans and tomatoes from the veg plot. Plus Rose's own honey is super duper. I loved picking the flowers too.

The farm itself is idyllic and we loved walking Puck and Zip in the fields belonging to the smallholding. Puck is quite cheeky and energetic, but very easy to look after. Zip is more elderly and sedate, and again, very easy to keep happy. Fletcher the cat is very handsome and seems to know it - again, very straightforward to look after. We checked on their sheep, chickens, geese and ponies too each day. Some of this was new to us but we really enjoyed the variety.

The farm is about a 10min drive from Brecon, which we thought was a very appealing and attractive town. We ate at some great local pubs and tried the cider too. It's also close to Hay on Wye, another fascinating pace to spend time in. Great location for exploring the Brecon Beacons and walking, being close to Pen y Fan.

We can heartily recommend this opportunity to other folk and we're hoping to return.

Kate
This was an amazing sit! Upon arrival, the house was spotless and Kate’s stepmother Margaret was super welcoming. Kate’s instructions were very reasonable and thoroughly communicated with her printed instructions. Kate and Margaret’s hospitality was like no other, I felt incredibly safe and well taken care of. On top of all that, the house is BEAUTIFUL! From the pool and the garden area to the stunning interior and outer yard, I felt like a Real Housewife of Charleston haha.

Benji and Birdie are two of the sweetest pups I’ve met, constantly wanting to be in your space and cuddle up with you but also respecting your personal space when you ask for it. The dogs do get a bit anxious when you leave them alone, but I just made sure to spend a good amount of time with them before heading out for a few hours. Birdie does like to chew on stuff she can find around the house so I’d watch out for that before you leave too. Taking care of these two fur babies was super simple and tons of fun! Would love to come back whenever Kate needs the help. 🤗

Pat and Dennis were excellent TH hosts! So glad I was able to ease their minds on their first TH experience. I met with them twice before the sit and stayed over before their early morning flight was cancelled and rescheduled for the next day. They provided tons of information about Skyler and the house in two binders. They were easy to communicate with and coordinate issues prior to my departure and their arrival. It was easy to take Sky out for walks in their lovely community. I'd highly recommend this sit to anyone interested in young dogs as Sky was very sweet, obedient, and easy to handle.

This was a great housesit. Owners, Karen and Nigel, are kind and considerate, and genuinely interested in their sitters’ comfort and happiness.

The cats, Charlotte and Pang-zi are a bit shy at first but great characters – well-behaved gentle giants that love to purr.

The condo is tiny but cozy, clean, and stylishly decorated. It has an amazing view and a large lovely porch to enjoy it.

Cedar Key is small and scenic with restaurants and a tiny grocery within walking distance. We took our bikes with us and enjoyed riding on the island.

We can definitely recommend this sit and we hope to go back!

Caroline
Caroline & Aaron are really interesting, friendly people and they were both very helpful showing me around the apartment, teaching me how to give Odin his insulin, and giving me tips for exploring the city when I first arrived.

I really enjoyed caring for Thor, Odin, and Fenrir as they were very loving and had wonderful distinct personalities and cute little meows. The apartment was clean, functional, and close to 2 good supermarkets. Nearby public transport goes directly to the centre of Munich in the blink of an eye!

I had no issues during my stay and would enthusiastically come back to look after the furry Norse God trio whenever Caroline needs me to :)
