Cat Sitters in Groton, MA

Audrey kept an eye on our crew for the long weekend while we traveled to see the solar eclipse. She was flexible with timing for doing a home routines walk through and did a wonderful job taking care of everyone and staying on top of Tate’s meds. She was also graciously responsive when we needed to coordinate a friend’s last minute pick up of special eclipse-viewing supplies. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a reliable and responsible sitter. We hope to have her back in the future!

We've had Dorothy sit for our two cats twice this summer (see previous review.) This second time, it was reassuring to know that we've left our house and family members (cats) in charge of someone who is caring, knowledgeable, respectful and responsible. When we returned, we could tell that Dorothy and her partner had taken good care with everything. The cats were well and playful. The house was as clean or more-so as we left it and she was careful to put things back where and as she found them. We work hard to make sure the house is left as clean for the housesitter as we would like to find in a similar situation. We appreciated not having to clean up when we got home as we have had to do with another housesitter.) There was no hesitation in accommodating our wish to be in-house for the first night (they joined us for dinner and we enjoyed their company), and also when their travel plans allowed. Dorothy was very responsive whenever we had a question or concern. We hope she will be able to sit for our cats and house again.

Lilly was amazing! We could tell she was friendly and personable as soon as she came to our home. She connected with Josie and Oakley, showing a genuine love for animals. What impressed us the most was Lilly's excellent communication skills. She updated us regularly so we knew how our pets were doing. Her quick responses gave us peace of mind while we were away. When we got back, our pets were happy and well looked after. It was clear that Lilly not only took care of Josie and Oakley but also formed a bond with them. Our dog's happy behavior showed how well Lilly took care of them. Also, Lilly did a great job taking care of our saltwater fish tank - it was clean and well-maintained when we returned. We're thankful for her care and only wish she lived closer!

Ksenia and James were great sitters. Stellar communication before, during and after, really nice, and they left the place spotless. Most importantly, the kitties seemed really happy and well taken care of. Ksenia left an adorable portrait of the kitties she’s drawn from pics she took. They were wonderful and I highly recommend them to take care of your furry children!

Jim and Laurie were excellent caretakers of my dog Qigong--they walked and played with her and she really enjoyed their company. My house was clean and my dog was happy when I returned home! This was the first time using TH and Jim and Laurie are trustworthy ambassadors!

James and Lydia were fantastic sitters! I was flustered after a cancellation and they were understanding and considerate in ensuring me that my worries were over. They worked to accommodate my schedule and I felt reassured having them keep an eye on everyone while I was out of town. Communication was excellent and they kept the house tidy. I'd happily welcome them back!

Ron was great! This was his first "sit" on the platform and he was wonderful. I was planning on leaving at crack of dawn to go on my trip and didn't want to leave my dog too long on her own. (she hates when she sees luggage and I leave without her.) This meant that Ron had to also leave early in the am to get here, which he said he would be happy to do -- without any hesitation. Also, I realized this was the first time I had let a "stranger" into my home to do dog care, without having met them first. I was a bit apprehensive, but Ron turned out to be completely trustworthy! He sent me a photo of my dog Sprout as soon as he arrived letting me know he was settled in and all was good. Ron took great care of Sprout, informing me about all the walks they were doing, and sent me photos and videos daily. I got a chance to meet Ron when I got back. He is lovely and warm. I highly recommend him, and hope he can come back again!

Once again, Kim was an amazing sitter in all regards. I cannot recommend her highly enough - your pets and home will be in fabulous hands!!

We loved having Mary sit for Yukon and Ophelia! She and her family gave them lots of attention and love and we are so glad they were able to be here. Mary checked in frequently and asked questions where needed. Hoping we can stay in touch for future sits.

This is the second time Alyssa has stayed at my place with my cat, Ace, and I can confidently say she is one of the best sitters we’ve ever had. Ace absolutely adores her, and it's clear that he’s very comfortable and happy in her care. Alyssa is kind, respectful, and courteous, which made the experience even better. I really appreciated the daily photos and updates she sent, keeping me informed and at ease. Overall, our experience with Alyssa has been nothing short of five-star. Highly recommended!

Charlie is great!

Abbie and Megan took wonderful care of our home and dog, Lucy. They spent lots of time with her, and I loved the photos they sent of them brushing her, walking along with her on the trails around the house, and sharing snacks. They are both warm, energetic and outgoing people with whom I felt instantly comfortable. Communication was great and they left our home in perfect condition. Would welcome them again!
