My parents took their dogs to the groomer and was told they were black listed, due to the owner saying they were late and they were having a hard time pulling up paper work on one of their dogs. And when asked if they could use the WiFi they were told I don’t know the password. How do you not know the password to your internet? My parents left and I’m just putting it out their both my parents are disabled and really the added stress has them both not feeling well. I used to cut hair for a living and I never turn people away for being late.
So thankful for this business and these wonderful women. As an anxious pet parent, it can be difficult to trust your beloved animals in the care of others. I have been going to Dazzling Dogs regularly for many years, and Amber and her crew are not only skilled and professional - they are warm, compassionate, kind, and loving humans who I trust wholeheartedly with my dogs. I cannot recommend them more. 🤍
We have been here several times and owner always does a great job with our dogs! However, the last appointment we had I honestly forgot about and we no showed. I called the owner the next day realizing my mistake, no return call. Followed up with another call and message through Facebook and still no return call or message. We were established customers with no previous history of no shows/cancellations. 1-star for this kind of attitude toward returning customers over a one - time honest mistake. We will be going elsewhere from here on out.
I’ve been taking my two dogs here for years and they always do a great job at a fair price. I also love the photos they take and post to their Facebook page.
I’ve been a customer for years and moved last year. I miss Amber tremendously. Small town groomer is so missed especially the caring attitude. I take my dogs to a city groomer and only spoke to the groomer once. Dropping and picking up is only through receptionist. Amber always did a great job on my part Golden’s. People wanted to know who was my groomer and the kennel too. The dogs always looked great , happy and puppy looking after a day with Amber. Wish I could commute. A very satisfied customer out West.
I had gone to this groomer several times when they were located in Dryden NY. I have 4 boxers. I called today and asked if there were any appts. for today for just a shampoo. My dog is a boxer so there is no hair to cut and I take care of my dogs toenail myself. I asked how much would it be. I was told total of $30.00. When I went to pick my dog up I was told the price is $43.00. I only brought $38.00 as I was giving a tip. When I questioned why was I told one price and now being told another? The girl there said “no I told you $40 plus tax. I responded with , you only shampooed my boxer. You did not trim her hair because she has natural short hair, you did not not cut her nails or anything else and had you told me the price would be $40, I would not of booked the appointment or traveled to Groton.I would have taken my dog to the other local groomer in Dryden. The girl responded Amber was standing by me when I gave you the price . Well I had to go all the way back to Dryden to get more cash . I will never go there again .
The owner is very rude and sarcastic. This was our third visit and our last. first two visits we were told one price and got there and had to pay more. She explained to me why she charged me the extra and to avoid a confrontation I just paid it. This last visit (today) i was quoted $40-45. Got there today and it was $54 dollars becuase my dog had a "behavioral" problem. Both of the other visits she never mentioned a problem other than my dog seemed anxious. I didnt see "behavorial" problem on her price list. Seems she can charge you whatever she wants.
Owner and her assistant were very nice. Showed great care for my dog jack and she never looked better when I picked her up. Always going there.
Amazing service, would recommend 100%. Harley is definitely coming back soon.
Very friendly, affordable, gets the job done right, is always good with my dog and any other!
