We had a great time petsitting cockatiels for Kurt and Dorota! From the get-go, they were friendly and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and gave us all the details to ensure our stay with Co Co, Sioux Sioux and Lucky went smoothly. It was our first experience petsitting cockatiels. They are free flying around the apartment, only sleeping in the cage during the night. It took them quite some time to get used to us. But eventually they would sit on our chair when we were working, or on the shoulder making you look like a pirate. Every bird has a different character. Lucky is the bravest and mischievous, he used to sing us his song almost every evening. Sioux Sioux is super curious with her favorite observation spot in kitchen. Co Co is cute, shy and very calm. The apartment is right in the heart of Prague, close to the river, has everything needed for comfortable stay. Overall it was a great sit and we would recommend it to other housesitters.
I was and still am very happy that I could take care of Rizzo and Liza. They are very social, affectionate and like being around people. They even have a handful of fans in the neighbourhood, who exchange a few words with them whenever they pass by 😊. Honestly, I felt sad leaving them the last day... Justine is very welcoming and gave clear and easy instructions on how to take care of the cats and of the house, which made the stay very comfortable. Also, communication was easy and she was always available. Thank you once more for the opportunity, your generosity and patience, Justine. I spent a lovely and, above all, a particularly productive time! All the cuddles to L&R! 😽😽
We enjoyed Steph & Mike’s home immensely and the surrounding areas of Atascadero and San Luis Obispo county. Their dogs Harley & Finney are wonderful, so well-behaved and affectionate. It was very easy to enjoy our time with them. There was a real home-from-home vibe to the stay, the house was decorated so wonderfully for the holiday season & had everything we needed to be comfortable. We enjoyed the restaurants and towns nearby a lot, as well as the nearby lake and Morro Bay. A 5 star sit!
The girls were wonderful! Highly trained! I was so lucky to have such a great pair of therapy dogs for the weekend! Just what I needed!
Steve and Katie warmly welcomed me into their lovely well-equipped country home with Dumbledore (bunny), Marvin (guinea pig) and seven hens. Marv was super sweet! To be honest, I hadn't looked after these types of animals before but it was really easy and even the chickens were no trouble at all. Day trips are totally feasible; it was no problem to return in time to put the chickens to bed. Grocery stores in Sydenham and Glenburnie are 20 minutes away. Westport and Newboro are 30 minutes away. Katie was easily available to contact in case I had any questions and checked in the first full day to make sure everything was okay. The house is very comfortable and a great spot to enjoy a quiet winter evening in the hot tub. It's an easy drive into Kingston, Frontenac Provincial Park or further afield. I would recommend this as a great sit!
We had a wonderful sit looking after Fleur & Lulu, Fiona was great to chat to prior to our sit and we received a very warm welcome from Fiona & Robin into their lovely home, felt at ease with great conversation and lovely home cooking. The cats are beautiful and really easy to care for, with a bit of patience and being quiet we were soon able to stroke them and they were really chilled and enjoyed lounging on the sofas wherever the sun was! Really nice to walk into Westerham, a lovely little town, and great walks around, Toys Hill was lovely to stretch the legs. Would recommend this sit if we don't get back there first!
