Staying at Emma and Simon's home was delightful. Their home is absolutely beautiful as the photo's show. They both made me feel incredibly welcome and were responsive if I needed anything/ had any questions. I felt communication with Emma and Simon was very good from the moment I arrived. Barney is such a gorgeous character with so much love to give and he is a truly affectionate little guy who will not leave your side! I found it easy to form a bond with Barney. Barney does experience considerable separation anxiety and for that reason, this sit would suit somebody who is happy to work from home / predominantly be in the house most of the time as he hates to be left alone. Barney is a truly lovely dog and I enjoyed his company, especially on walks which were a delight - he was so well behaved, and we were able to explore the local area together. When Barney gets anxious he can become growly and territorial so I think this sit would suit a more experienced sitter who is comfortable de-escalating tension/ stress as Barney's anxiety means he can get distressed easily. This suit could work well for a couple, so Barney can feel he has company at all times, and so the responsibilities can be shared between 2. Overall, Emma and Simon's home was a beautiful location in which to spend the festive period, and Barney makes for a very cuddly, attentive and affectionate companion, who requires a high level of attention and house sitters should be mindful of this when committing to take care of him.
