We have had the absolute joy of looking after Kita in Gillian and Hughs’ beautiful home in Javea, Spain. Kita is a lovely, gentle and easy going labrador cross. She loves her walks and behaves impeccably on the lead. She was also kind enough to accept our nine year old dog on to her territory and to share her toys and even, by the end of the three weeks, swap beds. Gillian is a great communicator and provided us with a very detailed and thoughtful ‘bible’ on all things to do with the house and grounds, feeding of Kita, surrounding area walks and places to see and she kept in touch with us while away. The house is super comfortable and in a beautiful situation on the Montgo outside of Javea. We loved this house and Kita sit and will be happy to return.
If you want to go to the most easy going housesit near the Las Vegas strip, this is the one for you! They are a true 5 star family and location. When we arrived we were greeted by Stephanie and welcomed into their home, which was perfectly kept and organized. Stephanie and her husband gave us the tour, and headed out to their flight, and the crew of Bailey, Aiden,and Shadow stayed so relaxed and chill, never a peep or upset for being left. So well mannered and so perfect on leash for their morning walks! They exhibit pure joy when those leashes come out! We cannot stress enough, how relaxed and laid back this family and their pets are. The rabbit Baxter is the softest, prettiest bunny who likes petting, but not holding. All the pets eat on demand, so if you choose to do day trips, that is all good. We read and relaxed, went out for lunches, dinners, and shows...Fantastic location and Family! Wish we could have spent more time here......
I had such an amazing time with Bat and Alvi. They are soooooo sweet and so easy to care for. Bonus points because Alvi is a cuddler. The apartment was so beautiful and cozy. I was really blessed for this staycation . It provided the environment I needed to be creative. Alvi and Bat definitely helped with the work motivation! I would be more than happy to watch over these two angels again.
If you ever plan to come to Salt Lake City and Keith is looking for a cat & house sitter, jump at the chance! Keith is such a sweet, lovely guy and he is so easy to communicate with (even when I asked pretty specific questions to plan our trip, he never got annoyed...always answered any questions we had quickly and thoroughly). His kitty, Raja, is a super charismatic cat, full of energy and personality. He is such a sweet kitty and fun to look after for sure. We were so sad to leave on our last day because we really bonded with him. Finally, Keith's house is lovely! It is super cozy, clean, and in the lovely Sugar House neighborhood. You can easily walk to multiple restaurants, grocery stores, and parks. We LOVED our time there and would do it again in a heartbeat! Thanks Keith!!!
Beautiful city, wonderful dogs, cozy house and two nice hosts! Sitting with Pablo and Tillie was a real treat! They are two bundles of cuddles and love. Bruce and Christine were very welcoming and helpful with any questions I had. The beautiful house is in a great location and has great views of San Miguel. I had a great time with Tillie and Pablo and would repeat it in a second!
