Zeva’s home and neighborhood was welcoming and conveniently located. The beach with a very long boardwalk is a one minute walk down the street. The house was very comfortable and has everything you may need including a workout room. Pickles spent most of his days outside which made for easy pet care; food and water. When he was inside, he likes to follow you around or sit next to you in the couch. Thanks for everything Zeva!
This was a very fun and rewarding house/pet sit. Meeting up with Carol and Garrin before was lovely. They’re very generous and hospitable couple. The house and the view was amazing and the ‘little girls’ were bundles of fun and kept me on my toes. They are very loving, enjoy human company and we got on so well. Thank you to the pet parents for giving me the opportunity and hope to see you all again. 🌸
We had the most lovely week with Pepper, Mango and Connor. Joe and his family are so welcoming and their house is so homely. The cats are such characters, they sleep alot but Mango is always there meowing next to the bed in the morning and Connor loves his morning dish of milk and to sit with you at dinner. And Pepper, she is the sweetest girl and we really miss her. She is so good on and off the lead, loves fuss and cuddles and is just such a joy to be around. Joe was on hand to answer questions while they were away which was fab and the house is in a great area of the city to explore. Thank you again for such an amazing week in Edinburgh!
I had an amazing time caring for Marty and Taylor in Mendocino! ☺️ I really hope I am lucky enough to visit again in the future. I arrived early enough for Lorie to show me around (she did a great job explaining everything), so I barely even needed the guide after that. The house is maybe a mile (if that) from downtown Mendocino and the coast, so I walked down there several times with and without the dogs. The views were absolutely stunning, and I had a blast taking the dogs to a few beaches. Taylor loved doing her own thing (sometimes just walking in the water randomly even in December), but Marty loved to play fetch with a ball. Marty did take a day to warm up to me (avoiding me and refusing to eat), but after that he was all over me. He and Taylor both made me feel so special to them, and they loved all the attention when I was there. Taylor would sometimes randomly bark for attention (especially when I was on a call for work), but I was able to reduce it by showing her that it wouldn't work: Ignoring her, rewarding her when she was quiet, etc. After a couple days, she barked much less and was well behaved in general. Both dogs did dig a bit in the back, so I'd keep an eye out for that too! I accidentally missed it when they got into a couple things, but it didn't happen too often and wasn't hard to clean up. I did take a couple short trips up to Fort Bragg nearby, and it was also wonderful walking along coast there and stopping at Glass Beach. Even in the winter, I really enjoyed my time in the area and highly recommend it for anyone thinking of taking a sit here.
