For my first experience on zeewoi, this was a very stressful first time and would not recommend this house sitter/service platform. After spending time to coordinate and meet Hay on two phone calls, providing a detailed PDF with full instructions and providing details on the site’s home guide with ample time, Hay did not seem to have pre-read this information and had many basic questions the day of arrival, that were clearly discussed and outlined in the information I had already discussed and provided. Hay lacks communication skills, attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. I have older pups, 1 that requires diuretic medication that requires him to go out more frequently (which I clearly described in my post). She was 1.5 hours late to provide them with dinner and let out on the first day and didn’t notify me until I had messaged to ask if she was able to enter, when she responded late that she was going to arrive later than discussed. She did not know the address (provided in house guide) and had questions about entry that was clearly outlined in the 1-page PDF/house guide. The rest of the 2 nights, 3-days stay, we had to manage daily alternate additional care due to lack of trust on our end, and her limited availability/change of plans which she did not communicate in a timely manner. This was particularly difficult while abroad, on vacation on my birthday and an impending international flight. Luckily, I was able to reach out to friends, neighbors and a dog walking service to complete pup care that she had committed to, requiring a lot of coordination time and favors. She left earlier than agreed to, leaving at 11am instead of 7pm as agreed upon to provide my pup with medication at that time. Due to the lack of trust, I also asked her to notify me when she walked them, and she did only twice during her stay which continued to instill a lack of confidence in the care provided. She left dirty dishes behind, but the house was in good condition and in the end, the pups were safe, mainly due to the additional effort and care I managed to arrange. It is unfortunate that this was a stressful interaction, but I would be hard pressed to recommend Hay as a sitter.

I have no enough good words to describe this sitting experience. Everything went smoothly from the beginning to end. Communication with Samantha was great, she left clear instructions and everything was as she described. This puppy!!! We already miss her. The most accurate description is "gentle giant". She is smart, funny, tender, shy. I have never met such dog before. She was behaving very well. It was difficult and sad to leave her...
This was unforgettable experience. Thank you Samantha for letting us to stay in your beautiful home, with your lovely puppy! I hope to see you again.

What a fantastic housesit! Don & Marilyn welcomed us into their home early to get acquainted with Daisy and Bindi, and also prepared a delicious meal for us. Marilyn is a great cook! Their lovely waterfront home was the perfect spot to relax with their loving dogs. We enjoyed kayaking in the calm waters and observed lots of nearby wildlife along with beautiful sunsets. Don & Marilyn left us detailed information and we kept in contact during our stay. Daisy and Bindi are sweethearts and it was truly a pleasure to stay with them. We would highly recommend and would be happy to sit for them again!

Irene and I had arranged the sitting many months in advance but due to a family injury 3 weeks before the due date Irene very kindly offered to re-post the sitting so that I could be released. This proved to be quite a headache but Irene successfully found alternative sitters to take over from me after 5 days and split the sit for the remaining 9 days and it was very much appreciated.

The cats are lovely and easy to look after, the house is comfy and very convenient for walking in to the city along the banks of the canal.

I learnt a lot about the history of Worcester and the English civil war about which I had limited knowledge previously. There are plenty of good places to eat including a Yo Sushi (yay) and the cathedral is a must visit.

Thanks Irene for being so considerate given my circumstances and I hope you had a great holiday and managed to get some of the sunshine that you had missed during the UK summer!

Lovely sit in a really quiet yet very accessible by foot to shops/town location. Jenny and Owain were great hosts and really made me feel at home. They are both SUPER organised and went through everything about their home with me in detail. It was truly a pleasure to welcome guests into their cottages. There was an issue with the boiler while I was there that they talked me through on Whats App very well (I think I'm now a qualified plumber!) - we pretty much communicated most days and they were easily accessible when/if needed.

Their cleaner that came to do the housekeeping was very sweet too and we hit it off immediately.

I would happily sit for them again in the future! and really hope to!

It was a really lovely sit for Mel with Cissi and Bobby. Mel was very helpful and her house was comfortable and relaxing. Cissi is such a sweet cat. She is very loving and great company. Bobby just made me laugh and was easy to look after. And the house is right next to the River Taff so I had some beautiful walks. I definitely recommend.
