Virginia is a favorite for us! This is our 3rd time working with her, we work together well with great communication and cooperation. On this visit, she had to take over from a friend who was assisting us the week prior, and the changeout went extremely well. It is very comforting to have a mature and caring person to watch over our pets and home. Virginia takes extra care with our elderly dog and ensures he gets everything he needs while simultaneously giving attention to our more energetic younger dog. We look forward to seeing her again soon!

From her promptness to schedule a pre-sit call to her truly thorough tidying of our house, Stella was an amazing housesitter from start to finish!!
She read all the info we put together ahead of time, and asked for clarification on just a few things which made us confident that the pup and the house were in good shape :)
Stella was really gracious when we admitted to not having a coffee pot, and handling things calmly when there was an incident with street parking.
Maybe most importantly though our dog Luke was calm when we came home. I think if future sitters are clear in their expectations around frequency of communication/photos and the dogs needs then Stella is the perfect person to exceed your expectations!

Amazing stay! Anastasia is very welcoming and August is the cutest cat, always wanting to play or cuddle. I would come back any time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our sit looking after Skye & Bonnie. Liz & Mike were superb hosts, who provided a really detailed welcome pack, covering everything we needed to know & more! 😊
Their fabulous countryside home with fantastic outdoor space is positioned within the idyllic countryside that had amazing views & stunning sunsets.
Skye is an extremely loving spaniel with great personality; we had lots of fun walking her up the local Malvern Hills, she certainly kept us entertained! Bonnie is a loving & friendly cat, who is happy chilling out in her own space.
We certainly wouldn’t hesitate to sit for Liz & Mike again in the future.

Vanessa is incredibly welcoming and provides all the information required for the sit. Her cat Remus is adorable, he loves a pat or to cuddle up next to you. Caring for Remus and her home was an incredible opportunity, the house is in an amazing location. Remus is so friendly and loved by all the neighbours, would love to pet sit again in future.

Sitting for Tabi & KitKat was a real pleasure for us. The cats had been born during lockdown and were cautious of social interaction with people, so during the days of our visit it was really heartening to see them gradually becoming more relaxed and confident. Anistatia & Jared are incredibly welcoming as hosts and we enjoyed our stay in their charming and unique home immensely!

Natalie and Brian are the kindest and friendliest of hosts. Communication was quick and easy – and highly entertaining! They have a super flat in a great part of London, and a cat that steals the show. Ollie-the-natural historian is observant and unobtrusive. He just follows you round with his wide amber eyes, taking quiet delight in the habits of the peculiar human species. A kind of David Attenborough in British shorthair form. A National Treasure, in other words. Thank you, Natalie and Brian, for a fab Clerkenwell Christmas!

Katie
For the first time, I didn’t get to meet the ‘parents’. Due to timings, Katie left a key (with clear, simple instructions on where to find it), and despite arriving in the dark, the house was easy to find (we had spoken beforehand on WhatsApp and dropped a location pin).

A car is recommended, given the semi-rural location. But you’re rewarded with beautiful countryside and a lovely peaceful home to stay in.

Blitz is the most well-behaved cat, who was on his best behaviour, both cuddly and playful, and absolutely no trouble at all. You put food out for him, and if he is hungry, he'll eat it, and if not, he'll pick at it later on. He is very flexible and does not scream if you don't follow ‘his’ routine.

He loved attention mornings and evenings, and decided to say hello at 4.30am on the first morning… but Katie had said he could be left downstairs with the kitchen door closed. So on subsequent nights we said goodnight and saw each other at a more reasonable hour!

I spent a day in London (easy access via direct trains a short drive away) which didn’t seem to bother Blitz in the slightest being left alone. And on the days when I was around the home, he was off enjoying the outdoors for most of the daytime anyway.

Katie’s home was well equipped, with everything necessary. And she even left some Christmas nibbles and a cute Christmas card on arrival. Thanks again, I would be happy to look after Blitz and your home again; have a wonderful New Year!
