Phoebe and Max were very communicative in advance for the sitting. On our arrival, they were warm and super nice. They even left us welcome snacks and drinks :) They prepared a very good guide for the place and taking care of Bowie. Anything you need to know is there. Bowie is a nice and playful girl. She loves her toys and cuddles and is very loving. We had to be very careful on the street as she was fast to try to get anything tasty she saw. Also she is very well behaved in public transport. The apartment style was amazing, and we appreciated it a lot to have the bikes available. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and it will be a cherished memory :)
I cannot recommend house/pet sitting for Cassandra enough! She is a genuine, caring and beautiful soul who went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Nothing was too much effort. She drove me around and pointed out all the local attractions, walks, good restaurants and shops which was very much appreciated. The animals😍 beware…they will steal your heart in an instant! They were an absolute joy to look after and you can watch them all play for hours! They are all so happy and content together which is credit to Cassandra and the hard work and love she puts into them. Hopefully this won’t be ‘goodbye’ but ‘see you again soon.’
Beth’s house is perfect for house-sitting, it has an ideal guest bedroom with en-suite so you can have your own ‘private’ space during the sit. There is a magnificent and well-equipped open plan kitchen and living space downstairs with a fantastic entertainment system (ie., all streaming services at the time of my sit). It also has a convenient parking space outside. The house is very close to Midhurst high street with shops, etc, only a short walk away. Midhurst is also the centre of the South Downs National Park so in an excellent location for some fantastic walking - Beth very kindly left a guide to local walks behind for me - and the local countryside is stunning. I didn’t use my car once during my stay preferring to take long walks with Bodhi instead. Bodhi is the most beautiful, intelligent and gentle dog and is an excellent walking companion - and we did a lot of walking! He’s excellent on the lead and also had very good recall. In the evenings we would play catch in the garden. I was quite sad to leave him in the end. For my first ever house sit I don’t think it could have been any better. I’m really grateful to Beth for giving me the opportunity.
