I had a wonderful time looking after the stunning Igor and Zorya. They are gentle cats who are very easy to look after and have quite complementary personalities. Igor is affectionate and loves a cuddle and Zorya liked to be nearby whilst maintaining her space. They are adorable company and I will miss them! I was very comfortable throughout the stay, Rob and James are great hosts and the location is fantastic. I highly recommend the sit!
We had a fantastic time caring for Milou, she is such a beautiful little girl!! She showed us her favourite park where she could play for hours with her ball. She is very obedient, when it’s time to go back on her lead she waits quietly then happily walks beside you. Tanya and Gus were very welcoming and let us know about Milou’s routine and showed us how everything worked in their home. If you are lucky enough to be chosen to care for Milou then we know that you will have a fabulous time as we did. Thanks again Tanya and Gus 😊
Anusha and Harish are wonderful hosts! They are kind and communicative, and we felt how they took care of every little detail in order that we will have the most comfortable stay in their home. Their cats Tom, Jerry, and Tyke are the best and sweetest! I spent a lot of quality time with Maki. We had a great time and she would come and cuddle up to me every night and be very chatty. Maki was happy with me,I give my 100% with animals as always, so for Valeria to give me a 4 star for that, didn’t make any sense to me and I did not find that fair at all.
I politely asked why she had given me a 4 star, where upon she answered that I had left the lights on in the living room. That I only did as a gesture of kindness, so that she didn’t have to fumble around in the dark, as the light switch is a little bit up the stairs and that it would be dark when she arrived home. I left only about 30 min. Before she arrived so, it wasn’t for several hours that the light was left on.
The second reason was that she said, that I had accumulated a lot of rubbish. Well I did use a lot of toilet paper, that was because I cleaned her toilet seat and bathroom sink, as this would be the only decent thing to do. I always leave every clean.
However I did not find any cloth to clean her toilet, there was only a kitchen cloth, and obviously I did not want to use that, so I used toilet paper. All the rubbish was in her bin outside, no rubbish was left in the house.
The third reason was that I hadn’t recycled the small empty cat food thins. She then right after said that she actually admitted, that she hadn’t specified that, so she couldn’t really complain about that. I did not see any bin for tins and cans, only for plastic and cardboard.
Then SHE asked me, if I wanted her to take down the review, where upon I said yes please.
Trusted house sitters told me that this was not what she had said to them. She had said, that I had put pressure on her, to remove the review, which is completely untrue. That speaks for itself. She was the one who offered to take it down.
So I will just keep it polite by saying... some people are never happy whatever you do🤷♀️

I really enjoyed being a Trusted House Sitter at Johnny’s. This was my first experience and a very good one. Communication has always been excellent and precise. Spooky is a very affectionate and lovable cat. The location is in a safe and beautiful neighborhood.
