Catherine and I immediately connected AND she was so gracious when there was a garbage disposal problem and a misunderstanding when the plumber would arrive. Even so, she stayed with the plumber/electrician the entire time he was here and both problems were resolved. She was just Wonderful. I came home to a very clean home, happy kitties, plants watered and well tended.. and what a relief... I knew she would be responsible. and I was right!

Volleges and Kirsties house are beautiful places to be. Surrounded by lovely countryside and mountains. The walking is spectacular, although Rufus is a little old for very long walks, but he's happy to stay at home so long as he gets some shorter walks.  Rufus can be a bit of a grumpy old man at times, but at 14, he's probably earned the right! He didn't take long to warm up to us, though, and was very happy to keep us company on wfh days. 
The house is set over 4 floors so be prepared for stairs! The garden is a lovely little space to chill out on warm days.
Kirstie was a fantastic and generous host, plenty of communication and advice. It was lovely to be invited for dinner the night before the sit, so we could get to know everyone a bit better. We also had a list of friends who we could contact if necessary which was very reassuring. Hopefully we'll be back to visit again soon.
